Sold me a phone..it worked great...60 days later Tmobile locked the phone. The previous owner had not payed for the phone. So now its after their 30 day return policy and Im out $96 dollars. People stay far away from them if you value your belongings you entrust with them. Being a Recovery Agent one of our tools is our two way radios. Due to a recent CT scan showing a large mass on my left kidney, I recently had to pawn them and other stuff to cover my coinsurance for the procedure, so I received a loan for 25 dollars for them. I dealt with two people, one of which was a manager named Mikalia. Tell you what, now I know what it means that "you can take the person out of the ghetto, but you cannot take the ghetto out of the person"! I came there to get a loan on my 55 inch smart tv last week. While I was there, I asked the guy doing the transaction when was my 2way radios due to be renewed so I did not lose them. He could NOT find the transaction nowhere. He told me I had to see this Mikalia. I came there yesterday to see her and was very polite, yes mam, no mam, etc. In front of about 15 customers she started telling me I sold them back, which was a lie. I was told they could pull the video tape of that day which would have proved everything, yet all she did while asking her questions was shout at me that I sold them and some ghetto slang I being Caucasian could not understand, what I could understand was her complete disrespect of me, a 58 year old man. I said if I sold them show me the transaction receipt, which between her over talking me to the point of yelling at me she would not do, in fact she never once looked at me during this whole one sided conversation, I swear. NOT ONCE, NOT EVEN A SIDE EYE GLANCE. She then said "IF I WANT THEM SO BAD, I COULD BUY THEM OFF THE SHELF....WTF!! to show you just how sloppy they are with their paperwork AND YOUR VALUABLES THAT YOU ENTRUST WITH THEM BECAUSE OF HARD TIMES, The day I came in to inquire when I had to renew the loan (why the hell would I ask that if i sold them back???? SMDH! ) I wouldnt. Anyhow, that day of the inquiry, I received a loan for my 55in smart tv. Guess what I have? They are so sloppy they gave me every copy of the pawn transaction, the ones i placed my fingerprint on, the one I signed that they keep as well. Now can you see just how sloppy they are with your valuables, God forbid the loan was your deceased mothers jewelry, gone forever........I am still appalled at how a so called manager of a business that I have pawned many things at and have always always gotten them back out could treat me so disrespectfully, ignore me by not only over talking me to the point of shouting to drown out what I was trying to explain, and to do so while NOT ONCE LOOKING AT ME. Who treats someone this way, especially a customer. I walked so polite, at first because there were alot of people there due to a promotion they were having told Mikalia that maybe this was not a good time and I could come back, trying to be kind and understanding knowing that if she had to review the security tapes would be tough as they were very busy, so i tried to set the tone for a good talk. I am far from done with this and I would ask that you guys check out Cash American Pawn on 34th street and 13th avenue North, ask for Chris, Dave or Rania, not only will they loan you more, but will treat you as if you really matter as a customer. I tried to post the paperwork on the TV that they gave me as proof of what I am saying, but couldnt. I will furnish it to any who contact me who has had the same thing happen to them. I still cant believe they screwed me out of 60 dollar radios (two way) and then lie to me and refuse to talk about it and look at me, how disrespectful!! Stay away from Mikalia, she is about 5"4 black kind of rugged looking, she is the most disrespectful person I have ever met in my life.
