attention vets, l.e., military, general good people: do not do business with this or any of their other locations. after a phone call indicating i had 2 carat, 18k gold ring, i was invited to the store for a general estimate. the sales rep asked the manager for the price disgussed (who was a complete d*ck) he gave a quote for 14k gold as $400. the rep corrected and said 750 grams?? of 18kgold solid. the manager said "yea, same price". mind you, my vet son had emergency surgery so i needed to help him. the managers attitude was a complete jackazz, rude, and dismissive. therefore, i do not recommend anyone, anywhere do business with this ahole. read more

awe t to Pawn USA Today to sell a very rare/limited edition Spyderco Burch Chubby Titanium pocket knife that is no longer in production (going on EBay for $400) and an also super rare and expensive Direware P-90 titanium and carbon-fiber flipper knife (going for $1100+ on collector sites). The older man at the counter offered me $35 for each knife. I tried helping him by showing him websites that had pictures of the knives I was trying to sell with prices, as well as current EBay listing of my exact knives, but he kept comparing my items to cheap totally different knives on EBay. This place may be okay if you're trying to sell cheap crap, but if you have anything of value, stay away. You'd be better off donating your expensive items to a charity and writing them off at tax time than trying to sell it to Pawn USA on Smoketown Road in Woodbridge. I've sold stuff before here and was helped by the younger lady at the counter and she offered me very fair prices. If you do go here to try and sell your items BEWARE of the older oriental Man...HE IS CLUELESS (and that's being overly kind). read more

My wife and I came in looking for engagement and wedding rings. Aaron helped my wife on the first day pick out an engagement ring. I wasn't able to shop there that day it was a little nervous about her being taken advantage of but Aaron was forthcoming an extremely helpful. I actually came in the following day for my wedding band and Aaron was just as patient with me as he was with my wife the previous day. Every staff member I have ever encountered has been very kind, professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I do not get a feeling that they are "scamming", as I've read in other reviews. Spoke to Aaron & because of him I drove 1 1/2 hr from MD to sell my brand new saint laurent with tags on still which purchased for $1600 with tax & I was told they'd give me only $500 For it. WHAT!? Ok my expectations weren't to get retail price but atleast not such a lowball offer either ESPECIALLY for a brand new bag. Heather was less than accommodating and not pleasant. When I asked if I were to purchase a bag from them would they work with me on the price for my bag and she didn't want to budge. Was assured item would be held for me for several days, and that they didn't want to take payment info via phone but would set aside and transact in person. Made 2 hour trip to buy my item, made a point of coming the very next day so they wouldn't have to hold item for 3-4 days. Arrived and was told item had been sold to someone else AFTER I was promised it. No one even bothered to even call me. They absolutely knew I was coming to purchase item, knew who I was when I walked in the door, and apologized but took zero accountability for the fact that I had been promised it first. Started out so excited to have found them for this and future purchases, but clearly wasted my time and spent lots of time and effort on a wild goose chase. Went in to sell a camera. Me a and a sales man agreed on a price but he didn't have a memory card to test it so said if I can bring a memory card back, they'll buy it. I waited for traffic to die down but went back later that day. He wasn't there but a lady was there who saw me talking to the original guy. There was another sales man there who confirmed that the original sales man just wanted proof that it shot pictures and he'd buy it but she had to put her two cents in about how it was making a "weird noise@ whenever she turned it on and didn't want to buy it. I explain that was the focusing motor in the camera but she said that I was wrong and the camera "wasn't right". The other salesman convinced her to just but it from me but put the original salesman name on it. Honestly, I've never had such bad experience with inconsistent customer service. read more

I went into this pawnshop because you never know what you're going to find in there and what kind of deal you will get I have bought over 35 items there in the past two years I absolutely love this place I took my engagement ring that I got for my fiancé there so they could resize it I was shocked by how much it cost it was under $75. Customer service is outstanding it's not like other pawnshops when you walk in and feel like a criminal walking around while there watching you like a hawk. I walked in there to finally get rid of my wedding and princess cut ring. The wedding ring was 14k with a large diamond stone in the center and 18 smaller diamonds surrounding, high quality purchased at a few bucks shy of $5000. The princess cut was 14k with 13 diamonds. They had the audacity to offer me $250 for both! Having held onto them for so long with no desire to continue looking around or keep them in my wallet, I asked if they'd give me at least $500 for it, still a major steal for them, right!? I went in yesterday ( Black Friday) to do a little Christmas shopping and walked out with way more than I thought I would! I went in to get a game system for my son, but ended up getting some amazing deals on a large screen tv, an iphone, a drill set that was like new, and some gorgeous jewelry for my daughter, mother in law, and myself! I had a few pieces of old gold jewelry in my purse that I was contemplating selling or melting down, but the gold buying place in Manassas I had taken it to offered peanuts, so I still had it. They gave me almost 3 times what I was offered at the other jewelry shop for my diamond ring and broken gold chains and charms! So I used it towards my new purchases!
