They do not care for the animals! They are not staffed during most business hours. You can only pick up your pet at certain hours during the day. Our dog stayed there recently and best we can tell she was not let out to potty and we had to wait almost an hour for someone to show up in order to pick he up. Yeah...no. I love the idea of an indoor dog park but the reality, at least for this dog park, is the smell that people have already mentioned in the reviews. I figured there would be a smell, we are talking about animals, but the stench of urine in the play area is so strong we barely lasted 10 minutes. I have never experienced this strong smell at the vets or the groomers. Perhaps better ventilation would help. Or more thorough cleanings? I'm not sure I do not know what they do to keep the place sanitary but it's not working. Upon arrival with our puppy and two kiddos, we were told right away that because we had children with us he could not play in a room with other dogs for liability reasons. This makes sense but we were not aware of this rule and honestly it defeats the purpose for us. We want him to have interaction with other dogs, but also to be able to be available to play and protect him. In fact, they recommend that children do not come at all. If you do venture here, I suggest bringing your own toys and possibly a bowl or some kind of way to give your pup a drink. They provide bags for picking up poop. There were a couple of balls in the room, but they were wet and disgusting. The staff we met were very kind, and I hate to leave a review like this, but we will not be back. They do offer babysitting and grooming and have self grooming stations. Tucked right off of O street near the Asian Community Center. You also must provide vaccination records before playing. I've been taking my pup to daycare here for a little over a year. The staff are really nice, and many recognize her on sight, which makes me feel like they definitely care. When I had to go out of town last minute I felt good leaving here there for boarding because I knew she liked daycare there already and would feel comfortable with the people. I'm a bit torn because the staff was pleasant, and my dog LOVED the outdoor pool. However...the smell of dog pee throughout the entire facility was horrendous. It was so thick that I feel like I left smelling like urine. Everything is pretty rundown and doesn't seem to be taken care of well. It needs some major tlc. If the place was updated and the smell was better it has the potential to be a really cool place! But, due to the smell and disarray the place was in, we probably won't return. read more

Went around 11am to take my dog to the indoor dog park by getting the $10 day pass. I have never been here before but there was ice and snow everywhere outside, so I wanted my dog to get some fun. I was then told that the "Free Play" time in the indoor dog park is from 4pm-8pm. I repeated that I wanted the "Day Pass for $10" as it is referred to on their website with no specified times. And again he said that yes but that time is from 4pm-8pm and it is still $10. That's fine, but update your website, so that I don't drive on the slick roads out there and have to leave without my dog getting any fun. But the main reason for the 1 star review was the customer service. I was told that I should have checked the Facebook page to see the new "activity structure". When I got home, I checked their Facebook and I attached the post he was referencing and it does not say anything about the day pass becoming a free play time between 4pm-8pm. I looked through their Facebook page and looked through posts all the way back till November of last year and found nothing. The employees made me feel like it was my fault for not knowing and they made me upset walk out because of how little care they had to even interact with me. Our German Shepherd Abel went to Paws 4 Fun for all daycare & boarding needs from the time he was a puppy to 3 yrs old. We moved to California last year and have yet to find any dog daycare facility that resembles the amazing care Paws 4 Fun offered. Each time we try a new place, I'm reminded how blessed we were to have Paws 4 Fun while living in Lincoln. Abel is HYPER, but they were so patient with him, and he always came home tired after all-day play. They truly took care of our dog as if he was one of their own. ***PET OWNERS BEWARE*** I had been taking my dogs to paws 4 fun for daycare and boarding for about a year now. This is not the same place it was before I dont know what has changed since the beginning of the year but something has and it's been for the worst. The last time I took them there for daycare when I picked them up they were both covered in feces. No one noticed on a white dog and it was dry and caked on. While someone helped me wash them I had left early from work to go to an appointment and that situation ate up all the time I had taken from work. That situation should have been a sign of things to come. A bout a month later I boarded them there for a week and was really disappointed with the condition my dogs were in when I picked them up. They had red marks scuff and scratches all over their pressure points and their tails were rubbed raw like they didn't have anything to sleep on except concrete. Which this place says they provide beds. Not just that but the place stunk more than usual I could see a heavily urinated on bed in the front office and my dogs STUNK as well I had to wash them after I picked them up and that's when I really got to see all the raw spots red patches one of my girls was limping and just how poorly taken care of they seemed. They were super stressed out as well. I felt so guilty. My brother called to see if they'd be willing to make things right somehow and the manager Travis assured him that he would talk to the owner and get back to us to see what we can do but never did. So my brother called again and spoke to Morgan who also wasn't very helpful. I paid A LOT of money thinking my dogs would be treated well. I can only blame the owners who seem to not be able to manage their business properly and professionally so the services they claim to offer are actually what's being provided. I will never go back. Not sure how this place hasn't been shut down! As soon as you walk in the stench of urine hits you like a ton of bricks. There's a bunch of clueless teens sitting around behind the desk which lends an explanation for the disarray and lack of cleanliness and organization. The indoor play area is under construction. I went to use the indoor pool which was disgusting and unsafe for dogs. Guaranteed to cause hip injuries without any anti-slip flooring. They mentioned vaccination requirements over the phone but never asked for them once I arrived much less verified them with my vet. Completely unpleasant and unsafe place on every level. DON'T BOTHER IF YOU LOVE YOUR DOGS! read more

I called everyday, sometimes twice a day. Each time I called the staff member told me they didn't have any contact with him, but would ask. the same update every day, "He is loving the staff." I don't care about the staff, I care about what the staff did to entertain my puppy that couldn't join group play. I asked what they played during his 3 play times, I asked how he did at night, I asked about his eating habits, and I asked about how he did with the fireworks on the 4th of July. The staff said they didn't know, but would send an update later as they were busy with other dogs. I found this odd that my 4 month old puppy had no update from the staff during individual play. 30-45 minutes, 3 times a day, a staff member couldn't send a quick picture or text me an update? He never had group play as no other puppies came in with the same vaccination status. I had no signs of life for 7 days. I could tell the staff was getting annoyed with me and I was afraid the more I complained or called the less likely they would provide me an update. I requested pictures as well after missing my baby. For 7 days I didn't receive an update. For 7 days I didn't get pictures, and updated report card, nothing. I tried to be patient thinking perhaps there was staff shortages. I would have been fine if he was in group play. I would have been fine if they said he only got 1 or 2 plays due to staff shortages, but we played tug of war, worked on his commands, played fetch, etc. But I received nothing. Finally, I called the evening of July 5th and told Laci how concerned I was. She agreed and promptly took him out to play and sent me videos and an update. I told her I want a manager to call me because I shouldn't have to call multiple times a day concerned that my dog wasn't getting cared for. She said the manager would be in at 11 the next day. She also sent me a nice message telling me that the staff dropped the ball and she was sincerely sorry. As nice as she was I still was not given any update on what he did for the previous 7 days. July 6th, Travis (director of operations) called me and I asked them how they would feel leaving their fur baby in a new facility with strangers and no update for 7 days? I told him I did not rescue my dog to have him sit in a kennel all day. I am paying for a service and that service included play time, pictures, updates. They gave me a small discount on my bill at the time he was picked up. But the most concerning update I received was from my friend as I was on a plane trying to get home stating that he looks really skinny and nearly half his food that I packed was put in his bag. My dog was fed less than half his food during his 9 day stay! When I arrived home at 1 am on the 7th, he was in a collar that was not his, his bag was not his bag, his leash was not his, and he was wearing a scarf that was not his. He did not have a bath or his nails trimmed. All of his toys, blankets, treats were missing. How unorganized is this facility that my dog was fed LESS THAN HALF HIS FOOD FOR 9 DAYS, BUT TELL ME HE WAS SUCH A GOOD EATER? To me this is negligence on behalf of the staff. when I showed them the bag of his food that was not given to him, they said that wasn't his food they mixed it up. His bag of food I labeled with his first and last name with feeding instructions. When I showed them the bag they had no answer as to why he was not fed. understands. I told him I just need to see the video documentation of my dog playing and eating from June 28th-July6th. I showed him the food that was not given to my dog during his stay and he said, "We may have given him our food." I responded with, "Why in God's name would you give him food that he is not authorized to eat? He has a gluten allergy!" He responded with, "Well I'm just making an assumption." We went to the back office where to review every day my dog was in their care. Travis told me that their servers had gone down from the 29th-3rd of July. I asked if they had any disaster recovery or back ups in place (I'm a database engineer by the way). He said they did not. Upon inspection of his files I saw that June 29th to present day was listed in the database. I asked him to click on the 29th. He repeated that the servers went down and I told him to click on it and let me see. He kept trying to right click then quickly diverted and said, "I'll just do it this way." He unselected all the cameras and queried June 29th that populated zero results. I advised him that he needed to select all the cameras to pull back any data. He selected one camera that pulled back zero results after he removed the "all motion activity" search parameter. After 15 minutes of him refusing to pull up any of the dates he states are missing because the servers had gone down, (Side note, when servers are offline they will still retain all their data when rebooted), I told him, "fine show me July 4th." He was unable to find my dog in any of the videos in any of the play areas. read more

I have boarded my dog at paws three times and two of those visits have resulted in a trip to the vet. This last time will stop us from going back. We picked our dog up and she very obviously had something wrong with her eye. It was red and had drainage it was not there when we dropped her off and no one had called to mention this or say something when we picked her up. This tells me they weren't watching her because it was the first thing I noticed when I saw her. She also got kennel cough while she was there so I'm sure lots of other dog did too. I have reached out to speak to a manager or owner three times now and have still not received any call back. Very disappointed in how my dog was taken care of while there. read more

We just picked our 3 dogs (boxer, pug, beagle) up for a 3 day/2 night stay and we are very happy with this boarding/play center. We had a negative experience at another boarding place in our city so we were hesitant, asked a gazillion questions, and requested a tour prior to leaving them....this place is AMAZING. No cages here! They had their own mini room together, we brought in their dog beds to have a good smell from home while they stayed. There are SEVERAL play areas inside and out with play equipment, there's area for both small and large dogs to keep them segregated if needed. They also offer individual play time if you dogs doesn't play nice with others. There are 2 pools (indoor and outdoor) which my dogs didn't get to use, but I hope they will next time. It's staffed by a bunch of young, kind, energetic animal lovers. We felt completely at ease leaving our pups there and will definitely do it again. The only thing I wish was different was I had hoped there was a live steam or a photo blog of that days guests so we could peek in on our pups while we were gone. No biggie that they didn't have this, it would have just been icing on the cake. read more

I sent my puppy here for daycare twice, once for 8 hours and once for 6. I was told that they let the dogs out to play for an hour and then put them away for an hour and alternate that schedule. Both times my puppy was let out to play for an hour over the whole day and locked away the rest of the day while they assure and advertise they will get out and play a lot throughout the day. Will not take my dog back or any future dog and do not recommend to anyone. read more

We were passing through Lincoln and needed a place for our dogs on both Friday & Saturday. The building itself was clean on the inside and the play area was great. Our two big dogs seemed to love it. The hours are very convenient and it was nice to not worry about the dogs all day while we were busy. The prices were a bit on the high side for daycare and the service was slow. This place is nicer than I expected. It popped up when I was searching for something fun to do with my dogs during my staycation and since it was just an hour away it seemed worth a look. It's advertised as a dog daycare or stay and play so I figured I would be monitoring my dogs the whole time, which I was fine with. When we got there they asked if my dogs would be more comfortable with small or big dogs, which was a fair question because, as Miniature Pinschers, they are big dogs trapped in little dog bodies. We started in a little dog room and were instantly identified as newbies. It turns out about 80% of the dogs they get are regulars. The room attendant explained to me I was welcome to stay and run around with my dogs or I could go out to the lounge (which featured a small table with chairs, two couches, and a couple of love seats) and grab some complimentary coffee while checking out what was on DirecTV or getting some work or homework done with the assistance of their free wifi while using one of their dozens of conveniently located outlets. I played with my dogs then grabbed some mediocre, but free coffee and looked in at some of the other dogs. I went back in to spend time with my dogs and played fetch with one of their new friends. About an hour had passed and I asked the attendant if the stay and play dogs were able to take a break like the day care/boarding dogs. He told me about the tired dog lounge where owners can sit with their dogs so they can calm down. It was a small room with four couches and quiet music playing. We hung out there for about 45 minutes then moved on to the pool area. It wasn't a big pool, probably 12x15 if not smaller, but it worked for us. A pool pass is typically $8 on top of a park pass, but since I wanted to get in with my dogs it was a flat $25 'pool rental' fee, which for me was only $9 more since I had my two dogs. Whether you get a regular pool pass or pay for the rental, you have access to towels, life vests, and pool toys included in the price. My dogs enjoyed the pool as much as you would expect a MinPin to. After the pool we went back to the park since a park pass is good all day. We stayed another hour then requested a grooming room so we could do baths. I'm not sure the price of the grooming room by itself, but it was cheaper because we brought our own shampoo. The grooming stations are all private rooms that have all the regular bells and whistles you'd expect including a bath wand, dryer and towels, and many other grooming tools Min Pins don't need. We were there from about 10am - 3pm on a Wednesday. We saw about 15 other dogs, had a great time, and spend $72. I really enjoyed my time here and since this is a newer establishment I'm excited to see how they grow and expand. read more

Do not bring your furbabies here! This is the first time I have ever boarded my 4 year old dog and we will probably never board again after this awful experience. When I dropped him off 8 days ago it was exact instructions on how to administer his CBD oil that prevents him from having seizures. When I picked him up they couldn't find the bottle of CBD oil. They had to go to some back room twice to find his bed and other treats we had left for him. The less than sympathetic person at the front desk did not think I needed to wait while they searched so he would call me before 8pm to let me know if they had found it. It is now 8:15 and still no call. To make matters worse I have no extra bottle of his CBD oil, I will have to use a substitute and hope that works. I was also informed that when you drop medicine off their, they do not keep a log of the doses given. So they put the health of my dog at risk because of their inability to make notes or log he was given his daily meds. I will be calling the owners in the morning and letting them know they will not receive my business any further. And they will be ordering a new bottle of CBD oil and having it overnighted to me to insure there are no further health risks for my dog. Last I would mention the place smelled overwhelmingly like PEE! Seriously? When we showed up there were 4 employees sitting around talking. Couldn't someone have been cleaning!? read more

I love the training that is hosted there but I dislike the actual dog care. They are consistently short staffed. They have no set schedule for when the dogs are out playing. I've been there when dogs are running around unleashed outside the play area. They do not regularly clean the dog parks. If you take your dog in there, be careful because there is poop imbedded into the AstroTurf. If they fixed these issues I would be a lot more likely to bring my dog to play! read more

This was my first time using a doggy day care. I was in town on vacation and needed a place to board my dogs for a few days. When I first called the gentleman that assisted me was very helpful and friendly. He stated with 3 dogs I would also get a 10% discount. When I got there, he showed me their family suites via camera and I could also see all the other pups having fun in an adjacent room. The staff was all very friendly through the entire process, check in and check out. However, when I picked up my pups, they were covered in their own urine, as well as all their bedding. It took them awhile to track down their bedding which led me to believe it wasn't in the suite with them. Also, took awhile to track down leashes and harnesses. Also, they did not return their treats. I was told they had just gone out to pee but didn't even make it out the door before they were stopping to pee on the pavement. Maybe I have been spoiled with boarding before but I have never picked up my pups with out a bath, and makes me wonder how many days they sat in their own urine. Also, didn't get a 10% discount. I won't be going back next time I'm in town. read more
