They are currently temporarily closed during the pandemic, but I wanted to stop to write a review of them. We have 3 small dogs. When we go on vacation, we rent a "run" so the 3 can stay together and have plenty of room to run around. They also offer smaller pens and you can get "playtime" and "walks" etc. We've been using them for years and our dogs have NEVER come home sick or sad. They always come home happy and healthy, which is huge with a kennel. We went through a period last year, where I literally had to board them every weekend for 2 months due to a family situation on the west coast, and they came back to me happy as clams every week. Their prices are also SUPER reasonable. The owner is very accessible and friendly. On the grooming side, Nicole does a great job! I've had them groomed several times, while staying there. She does a good job interacting with the dogs and they come out looking adorable and smelling great. My dogs are a bit nervous of new people, but they took to her immediately. She's a sweet person and a great groomer with very fair pricing. I highly recommend both the boarding and the grooming.

She is clearly a devoted and sincere pet lover, who provides lots of exercise, playtime, and quiet time for the pets left in her care, in a loving, caring, and well-organized atmosphere. Pictures tell the story.... and we do appreciate when Jackie sends us pictures of how our Labrador, Casey, is doing when we're away....whether he's playing with other dogs, running in the park, or snoozing after dinner on his bed. Casey has been cared for by Jackie for the last 2 years, and he "says" it best. When we drop him off for a short or longer stay, his tail begins wagging before the front door opens......and he DOESN'T LOOK BACK as Jackie welcomes him in and he runs to the basket of toys set near the door......knowing that a trip to the dog park is always on the agenda, too. Dissed by our own dog! Finally, this winter we had a family emergency that required that we find care for Casey on very short notice....within an hour. Jackie offered and then made arrangements and changes to her weekend schedule to be able to take Casey on immediately....for the weekend. During out consultation, she spent the time to tell me how to set up crates and potty train my pup. I was completely overwhelmed with my new 11-week old puppy, and her advice was spot-on. Between her advice and dog walking, he has turned into a well-trained puppy. Jackie makes sure I understand any commands that she's working on with him (and vice versa) so we can both enforce his training. This has helped him pick up basic commands a lot faster. It's a great feeling to come home one day and your puppy finally understands sit when he didn't get it that morning. I've used this company for both dog walking and overnight stays. People (lovingly) tell me that I'm a helicopter doggy mom, and I trust Jackie 100% with both of my munchkins. Typically the best part of my work day is getting pictures of my pup or a funny story about something he did that day. Jackie has continually provided exceptional service for both my pup and cat. She is great with them, and continues to give great advice. She works my puppy hard to get out his energy during the day. Anyone who has a long day commuting and working appreciates coming home to a puppy who only needs a short walk and some playing. I am very fortunate to have found Paws On The Leash. Was able to, in an emergency situation, board my rabbit Pistachio for 3.5 months. Most places can't…read moredo this because of space constraints, or are places I wouldn't have wanted my girl at because of concern about caging and conditions. But Greenbriar thought about it, gave me a quote I could afford, and worked with me to keep Pistachio happy and healthy until I could pick her up again. They also offered nail trims while she was there, and sent updates periodically so I could see how she was doing. I am truly so grateful to the individuals at Greenbriar who looked after her! She is back in her stomping grounds now and is as much a princess as ever. She also learned some manners--doesn't get territorial anymore at mealtimes haha.

It was our first time meeting Mariah and Dr. Ainsworth today, but they treated us with such familiarity, which we appreciated. Mariah was so patient with one of our dogs who is super sassy and anxious and she walked us through everything the visit entailed. Dr. Ainsworth took the time to go over every single aspect of our dogs' day to day lives and discussed what we should tweak and what we shouldn't, which is so important to us because we want what's best for our dogs. We typically see Dr. Smith & we love her. She took time to really connect with not only our dogs, but us as well. We are always so pleased with our visits. Thank you for all that you do!
