Dr. Blair is excellent with dogs & good with cats, although she seems to understand dogs best. She seems to have become a vet for the love of animals & not to get rich quick. I have not yet been to the new location but her fees at the old place were less than nearby St. Marys/Kingsland vets. I used to live in Folkston & she was the only vet I went to there. Since moving to St. Mary's I sometimes go to another vet that is closer, but for big issues I would go the extra miles to bring my cats to her care. read more

Dr B and her team have been amazing for all three of my cats. My seven year old boy Sebastian has to get Solensia every month and every time he has loved being here. We've taken our cats here twice. I will not be bringing them any longer. It saddens me to write this however I want to share so others have the information before choosing a vet. We originally brought our cats here for a yearly checkup and the vet herself is great at calming them and taking her time with them. It's everything else I have an issue with. First off, even if nothing is wrong they always recommend blood samples and stool samples which personally I think is a little outrageous because they cost upwards of $1000 for three cats to get all of that done. Our other vet we used to take them to for three years never did this. She only suggested it when there was cause for concern or we did it every couple years, not every visit. I guess some doctors could just have different preferences. The reason I am deciding to write this review is because recently my cat has been having maybe some breathing issues. I recorded a video to see if it was normal because my husband and I were in disagreement on if she was breathing faster than normal or not. I called them to see what her previous record said her bpm was and they did not have them. The receptionist/nurse stated that since it was last November, it was a couple months ago and they didn't have it. That's outrageous to me because the vet that hasn't seen them since 2022 still has their records. She stated that they don't have any vital records from their visit in November 2024 or November 2023. That is not standard practice. Anyways, they get two stars because they did do a good job when we were actually there interacting with the cats however, we will be finding a new vet. read more

If I could give a zero I would. This practice has no clue what they are doing nor do they document charts very well. They try to add more things to your bill that are not needed. I would not recommend this Veterinary clinic by all means. My dog was on Trifexis for two years before transferring to this clinic. I was trying to use something closer to home but this clinic became a nightmare. When I tried to tell the person who texted me that this dog was on Trifexis and they prescribed my dog Nexgard as I asked got one prescription and was denied for the 2nd month they told me the dog would need to test for heartworms even though we were just there a month and got a prescription. I even showed proof to them and the Chewy pharmacist tried to reach out to let them know they gave my dog the Nexgard for heartworms and the office tried to say they did not when they did. They are just a money-grabbing clinic. They will charge you for more than what is needed so DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE! Oh don't let me forget they had my dog's weight wrong what they had she had not seen since she was 2 years old she is now 11 years old. read more

The assistant was awesome BUT I was told they would call me with my cats blood test results by end of day. No phone call.. left a VM message asked for them to call me. No phone call at all ! Even if the results were normal I would expect a phone call from the Vet or office staff just for a peace of mind. $325 for a visit and lab tests.. was not even told what blood tests.. poor communication.. asked to come back in a month. We just left the clinic with our 2 cats who aren't feeling well. I wish I would have found this practice years ago. The staff could not have been nicer, the doctor spent a lot of time with the cats , the office was spotless, we were taken right in and we never felt rushed. It was so different from any other vets and we have been going to them 40+ years. This was also the first time we had ever had animals who weren't freaked out in the vets office. I am a RN so I feel like I am probably pickier or at least notice more in a doctors office (human or animal) and I would VERY HIGHLY recommend them. read more

My wife and I live in Saint Marys part time. Our beloved Rocco was 15 years old. Rocco was a beautiful and highly intelligent min pin that we knew was in decline. As fate would have it, Rocco declined rapidly during the night after arriving St. Mary's. I was alone with him and spent a terribly long night watching over and loving him till morning. Not yet establishing a vet in S M, I turned to Yelp for help. Although busy, they were able to get me back pretty rapidly. I couldn't have asked fur a more compassionate and caring staff. Dr. Buldoc and staff were amazing. I will never forget the kindness they showed me. Dr. Buldoc comforted both me and Rocco. All this made my last moments with my boy much easier. My mom took her dog for the 1st time, she is new to area. The vet was not clear at all about what was wrong with the dog, had my mom very confused when she started talking about exploratory surgery. Turns out dog has uterine infection, which is treated with spaying. Easy fix that was made all too complicated for my mom because it wasn't explained well enough. Also the bill was $1100 for absolutely no surgery, just some parasite meds, which were not needed and an antibiotic, along with xrays. Very disappointed with their service. Took dog to Camden County Vet in Saint Mary's GA and they were wonderful provided emergency surgery and overnight care all in same place. My mom felt like she got her monies worth at Camden Vet. After talking to others about our experience at Paws and claws it appears others have had negative experiences as well. Good luck going to Paws and Claws. I was super nervous about finding a vet that I loved as much as our vet in California but I'm happy to say that paws and claws and Dr. Bolduc and Brittany did an amazing job with my big cry baby girl and went above and beyond answering questions and helping me find the right heartworm and flea prevention for my girl. Absolutely the worst place I have ever taken a pet. I took my puppy there to get his first routine shots and for them to examine why he had pooped in his cage for the past two days since he is potty trained. They gave me heartgard and digestive health supplement for him. Fast forward a couple days and nothing has changed. Puppy has only gotten worse. He can't even make it outside to use the bathroom, has unhealthy poops everyday, and continues to poop all over his cage and bed at night. I call the clinic for answers and they tell me to just stop giving him the medicine. Why in the fuck did I pay for medicine that's fucking optional to give him if it works or not. Why wasn't that stated when I was there. I stopped giving him the medicine. Now on 11 days later and absolutely no change. We've went through 4 dog beds and multiple toys that had to be thrown away because they're covered in shit. My dog will be taken to a new vet office that can actually tell me what's wrong with him and give me the correct medical advice for helping my dog not shit where he sleeps every night. read more

The worst. Highest prices in town. Dr says will call you back and then you have to call and call for the office manager to be rude to you. They misdiagnosed the type of cancer my fur baby has. Told me it would take months to get in to see oncologist. Got in next day. I feel I was mislead on what testing and blood work my furbaby needed so they could get the most money out of me. And it applies to more than just my dog's cancer. They are horrible at quotes. Worst vet clinic I have ever dealt with. We did not know anyone when we came here and lucky to find Dr. Bolduc. We have German Shepherds and Rottweilers and she is great with them. She properly diagnosed a problem with one our GSDs that two other vets never did get right. She is really good. read more

We didn't have a good experience, there was a long wait time, also very unorganized, I paid for medicine for my dog and it took over 2 weeks to get, also I called and asked questions no one ever returned my calls, the phone ettiquecy is nice, what good is it if the service is bad. $140 down the drain, you shouldn't charge someone for meds that their pet hadn't received and its antibiotics on top of that, I'm so disgusted. They also took away military discounts, I'll never go back, I'll just wait and take my dog on base. read more
