Worse, they are treated negatively because they are nervous, frightened and come off as aggressive or hostile. Any groomer, vet or animal person understands aggression is a disguise for being scared. Dogs can show their fear in other way such as drooling excessively. If your groomer cannot ameliorate that, then you need a different groomer. She really needed a grooming and nail trim and taking her to her usual place was too far away. I found this place up the road from us and they had really great reviews so I decided to try them out. Their Square scheduling site was a time saver. I chose the Luxury Bath (bath with hydro-massage equipment, premium all natural shampoo and conditioner, blown dry by hand, brushed and combed, ear hair removal, ear cleaning, nail trimming and buffing) and I added a Shed-Less treatment. I saw that they had nail polish so I had to get her in red nails. When her appointment time came I took her over and I was amazed by how much mercy they had in there, everything from dog cookies and treats, all kinds of chews, leashes and collars, and CBD. The staff were very and my dog being who she is, loved them immediately. I filled out some paperwork regarding her vet, my info, etc. since it was my first time there and they tell me that she'd be ready in about an hour. They texted me about saying she was ready about an hour later. Paying was easy since it was through Square. I asked how she was and they said she was an absolute sweetheart. They even gave me an ornament with her photo in it as they do them as gifts to their clients in December. How cute! Thank you so much for making my baby look, feel and smell so good!

Our last session was at a park where we got to practice our new skills in a safe situation with a professional so that I felt in control and at ease practicing them in the "real world." Melissa really listened to what I wanted, what my dog needed, and tailored every session to what would work best for US - not following the same script and steps that everyone gets. I went in hesitant about the training methods but am now more educated than I anticipated; I know more about training, I know more about my dog, and I even know more about myself. It was also a lot of fun!! My dog and I both looked forward to our sessions and it helped us bond a lot. There were quite a few scheduling issues, which was not a huge deal for me, but it was inconvenient at times since I have to drive a bit to get to the facility. We were recommend Unleash Fido by several people. We scheduled an hour long consultation with Travis who ended up giving us 90 minutes of his time to learn about Lily and discuss their program. Lily had several issues, such as pulling on the leash, lunging at cars, barking at people + other dogs and going absolutely crazy when Amazon/UPS was delivering a package. Ultimately, we booked Lily into their month-long Obedience Training Camp. After receiving weekly report cards that contained photos, videos and a brief update on how the last week was, we were finally ready to pick-up Lily. Our first time picking her up was also our first training with her. We worked on establishing place, having her heel while walking, and working on other things around distractions. Within the first 24 hours back at home, our investment in this training payed dividends. She's obedient on walks, doesn't mind others passing by, comes to us on call, goes to place when told and so much more.
