That is not something I would want in a trainer. I would actually want someone to take the time and to work with my dog on their individual needs and not just think of it as a whole. Not every dog is the same. Not every dog learns the same. It's unacceptable to put the​ dog through what she did just to get it out of its crate. And if your facility is not able to allow a dog to decompress in its crate right after being picked up, then you need to reevaluate your space. There's never a situation that you should be dumping a dog that is already fearful of its surroundings.

Then he went to Puppy Camp at Unleash Fido and worked with Brittni. He came home a truly different and wonderful dog. he was in control of his body and his actions. He obeyed commands and was house trained. Best of all, though, we saw his true personality emerge from underneath the chaos - we got to make friends with the sweet, personable, loyal dog he is. This was one of the most disturbing and traumatic experiences of my life as a pet owner. What…read morehappened at this clinic goes far beyond a mistake -- it shows a shocking lack of competence and care. I brought my dog in after she began vomiting. Over two days, I was charged nearly $700 for X-rays and told with urgency that my dog had an intestinal blockage and would die without immediate surgery. Based on this so-called "expert" opinion, I was pressured into approving and paying over $2,100 for emergency surgery. After surgery, I was instructed to take my dog directly to urgent care overnight after being informed that no blockage was found, meaning the surgery was completely unnecessary. Despite this, my dog was sent TO ANOTHER VET still severely ill and actively vomiting. When I arrived at the emergency vet, the doctors there were stunned. They could not understand how such a drastic, invasive surgery was performed without first doing an ultrasound, which would have made it obvious that no blockage existed. What they discovered next was horrifying. The emergency team found that the surgery had been egregiously botched. My dog's abdomen was not properly closed. Her intestines were protruding from her body. She was in extreme pain and distress and required immediate emergency surgery intervention to prevent further suffering and complications. Let that sink in: my dog was cut open unnecessarily, put through major BOTCHED surgery she never needed, and then sent out with her abdomen improperly closed. To make matters even worse, the ER was able to quickly identify and treat my dog's actual medical issue with ease -- without invasive surgery. Since then, I have spent over $4,000 more just to save my dog and help her recover from the damage caused by this clinic. Days later, she is still recovering -- not from illness, but from the reckless surgery she should never have undergone. And the final insult? Not a single follow-up call. No explanation. No apology. No concern. Absolute silence, despite knowing what happened. This is not compassionate care. This is not professional medicine. This is a dangerous level of negligence. I will be filing a formal complaint with the state veterinary board and pursuing further action. If you value your pet's life, safety, and dignity, do not trust this clinic with their care.
