This place is run so efficiently. The staff is fabulous and seems to be so high energy and very caring about our pups. We have been going to Paws for 4 years now and recently switched to get our dog's teeth cleaned elsewhere. Never again. Our dog runs highly anxious, yet at Paws, where he can constantly move in the aisles before and after his session, he is less hyped. Love that we don't need an appointment. It's just a short queue every time. Love that our meds are less expensive and we can buy individually or as needed. Love that the doctors are quick and easy-going and the nurses have treats to give. Our dog even got microchipped as a puppy, and he yelped once and then got a treat and loved everyone again. read more

It is upsetting to me to have to even write this review because every other staff at this clinic besides the front greeter is amazing. But after having 3 different awful experiences with this woman I cannot stay silent. My first encounter with her that went awfully was when I had brought me and my moms new puppy and intended to carry him so he did not have a leash since I was conscious about him touching the floor and carts being I did not know how well they had been cleaned and he had no vaccines yet and I was unsure if his mother had any vaccines. She spoke down to me once again, forcing me to put a slip lead on him and put him in a cart despite me being uncomfortable with this.  The next time we had been late on our puppies vaccines and he had to restart his vaccine course to which this woman spoke down to me and my mother about how if we had come in earlier he wouldn't have had to restart and in general was rude and nasty.  This last experience that I had yesterday is by far the worst and inexcusable. My personal dog who is human reactive had been muzzled bc he is large and scary when he barks but has 0 bite history. I stood with him near the door to try and catch the woman and ask her about where we should stand because my dog sometimes barks at people. when she came out she very rudely told me people had been waiting and I couldnt cut in line. I expressed that i was trying to alert her to my dog and keep him from people to which he is reactive. She told me she would have to help the others first and that the line started in the back. I assured again that was fine and she started helping people to which my dog started screaming because he saw another dog and got excited so she told me to go wait on the other side. I moved me and my dog to the other side of the door behind a pillar and was giving him treats and praise for ignoring the people and dogs. She came back to told me I needed to wait around the other side of the building all the way at the end and she would get me. I waited out there for 20-30 minutes crying because she made me feel shamed for trying to properly keep my dog under control and everyone comfortable. My mother ended up coming to help me speak to someone because of the treatment and we went straight back to the manager to speak yo him and were placed in line. When we walked in she tried to make an excuse that she somehow didnt know I was waiting outside despite her telling me to wait there. Everyone was amazing and helped us perfectly fine until my mother was trying to check out at the front with some items she was purchasing and heard the front desk woman telling other customers to "watch out for the girl and her mom with the muzzle dog who was lunging at others" to which my mom had an argument with her and left. My mom called me and informed me she was up there speaking about us and the woman standing in line next to us informed me that she had also been given the same warning about me and my dog and I alerted the manager of this. As I was leaving she was once again speaking about me and my dog If you look at any other negative review of this clinic it mentioned this woman and her repeated behavior like this. So this begs the question: are some dogs inherently less deserving of vet care because of their reactivity and does this woman get to decide? read more

I have been going to this clinic for a decade but will no longer be going here because recently they stopped letting pet owners go w/their pets to receive vaccines which I find to be highly suspect. The big reason though is they would only sell me 6mo. worth of heartworm medication when I normally buy a years worth because it is cheaper that way. The want me to pay for 2 tests a year when no other vet in this country does that. Of course they did not tell me this until AFTER doing the test so now I am forced to pay for it. My dog has NEVER lapsed on his tests or medications so there is NO REASON for them to not sell him a years worth of medication. This is VERY SHADY business & I wonder if it is fraud. I bring all of my dogs here. They're affordable and the staff is friendly and super helpful. I just added a new puppy to my family I was told he was about 4mths old. After getting him evaluated and 1st round of puppy shots the Dr let me know he felt he was closer around 11 weeks old. Today I got his puppy shots and some heartworm flea and tick medication all under $65 dollars. I'll be back in about 3weeks for my pups 2nd dosage out of 4 rounds of puppy shots. The clinic is clean and today is a Sunday they're open from 10a to 3p. Looking for great affordable veterinary preventive care come check them out. The staff and doctors are truly a gem. Although I bring my fur babies to Princess Anne Vet for issues, this is THE place for vaccinations. They're organized, sweet, and soooo much cheaper. I just moved here from San Diego and haven't found a veterinarian yet. My dog and cat needed boosters and Lyme (since it is not prevalent in CA) and I am glad that I found a vaccination clinic here. Everyone was super helpful and polite. It is very busy but that comes with the territory of these clinics so I am happy to wait. Everything went smoothly and I came back for a second visit three weeks after we got the initial Lyme booster for my dog and an additional vaccine for my other cat. Now that I am more settled I will look for a more permanent vet but I was glad to find PAWS and will use them in the future if necessary. read more

Oh my gosh! This place......where to start. I started coming over 20 years ago. I'm amazed they are still going strong. The wife of Dr. Wansky is excellent. So friendly and caring. Dr. Wansky is so caring excellent. Very helpful with tips for my cats and dogs. Every time I get a new pet we come here. They care about the pets not the money. That's why they offer low prices on vaccinations. If they were in a traditional setting, they would have to charge like other full service vets. Since they are working out of the pet store, they can offer low prices and quality vet care. I have a full service vet Clinic and hospital I use. They are just as great. Expensive but good. For bigger issues, like tumor removel, yes I use them. For routine checkups and vaccinations and heartworm medication, I use P.A.W.S. Clinic. I also love the new vet. Well not so new anymore. She's been there awhile, but she is just as great. A welcome addition. The staff is helpful too. They navigate my needs and helped me find a low cost spay/neuter facility. Love this place so much. Although they aren't a full service unfortunately, it's obvious they care about animals. Which I'm starting to find hard to say about veterinarians these days. There is one lady here with an attitude problem, but everyone else is wonderful. Just make sure you have a regular vet too if you take your pets here since they only do the basics here. read more

This is a great place to get routine, preventive care for your pets at a very affordable price. The staff is really gracious and although they don't take appointments so the wait can be quite lengthy, their patients are seen in an efficient manner. I was particularly impressed at the time that the vet took to examine a nervous, angry cat (not mine - I had the nervous dog) in order to ensure a thorough visit. Please note that if your pet needs special care (ie heartworm treatment, spaying or neutering), you'll have to go to a regular veterinary practice, but this is a great option for shots and such. read more

Amazing customer service! After waiting at ANOTHER CLINIC for hours to be told i was fourth in line then magically to 23rd in line I was told I would wait an hour more. I called PAWS and they made me an appointment the next day as soon as they opened! They could have made me wait in line (but with their professionalism and quickness I honestly would have mind waiting!) I was in and out in 15 minutes! They treated everyone so very nicely and spoke to each person they like knew them for years. I am switching from care a lot pets clinic to PAWS without a doubt. My puppies were needing of a deworming, and we normally would go to a spot across the street. Well they were closed and not giving up we found this place which closed in 20 mins. We thought they would turn us away being it was so close to closing time so we'd get an appointment time to come back if anything but the moment they saw us they came over looked at our pups and got our information. SERVICE WAS AMAZING!! The girls at the front were so helpful and nice. Kathy and Beth got us in fast and gave us some really good tips about them teething. Dr. Wansky gave them the shots they needed along with a dewormer. He was very attentive and gave them a good exam to see what they need.
