They have labeled my 12 year old dog as hard to handle and charge $10 more and on top of that, this last haircut was awful. She has long strands all over and her feet look chopped up. They should have took off money instead of an extra charge. My dog seemed extremely tired and was very shaky. Unlike, how she has been at other visits. I'm not saying they gave or sprayed anything on her but she wasn't herself. However I do not recommend this location. I hesitated to bring her back after the last few grooming hoping to find a decent grooming on the list. Nope it just got worse. Never again at the Lufkin location.

When I got there and asked for the turtle they informed me that they can't hold anything and they sold him. So a wasted an hour to be lied too! I then had to drive 2 additional hour out of the way to PETCO that held a turtle for me "considering I was driving so far away" The turtle was for my 3 year old best friends son's birthday, that has begged for a turtle since he could talk. When I arrived to pick them up, I noticed one of my dogs eyes bleeding and my other was scratched up too. I asked if they had gotten into a scuffle with each other or what and they had no idea. The girl said it had to have been with each other because they were in a pen together (they have never injured each other like this). So they just get locked up unsupervised. I was in complete shock I just got my dogs out of there as quickly as possible. No one apologized or offered a wet paper towel to clean her eye. I am disgusted that a business can have such lack of respect for the animals in their care. I was supposed to let them groom my dogs in a few weeks but I will absolutely never take my dogs back there under any circumstance.

Occasionally pets will have reactions to their shots, so the vet goes above and beyond to keep her a few hours after the shots to ensure she will be fine which I thought was really caring and special as no other vet I have used has done this. The vets wife is the receptionist and was so sweet and helpful with everything, keeping me in the know on how everything was going to work and even called with updates on my puppy. The groom was also really good and very affordable. For her first groom which was probably a bit more difficult than most, she did an excellent job! This will be where I go for everything from this point forward, love that you get it all here!!!!
