Great place to leave your dog or cat. They love animals. We were very concerned about leaving our older shih-tzu. She is 16 and very fragile. We went for a tour and the ladies there made us feel good about leaving her there. When we picked her up after a week long cruise our dog looked right at home when we picked her up. She was asleep in her pen and she seemed right at home. NO DRAMA! Just a great experience! We are customers for life. She smelled fresh from the groomer as they had given her a bath and dried her too. 6 Stars! read more

They maintained all Covid protocols and made us feel welcome. And when we had to cut our vacation short due to a family issue, the ladies responded and helped us even when the business was closed. I'm a local of the North Myrtle Beach area. I was born and raised right here on the Grand Strand so I believe in supporting our local businesses. This is one local business that I will not be supporting anymore. I went out of town this past weekend and my sister and I took our two dogs to Paws Inn to be boarded. We were gone Saturday and returned Sunday but since Paws Inn is closed on Sundays, I had to pick them up today (Monday). When I got there, I waited for the lady to get my dogs stuff together. She first brought out their beds. My one dogs bed was ok but the other one was saturated with urine. It smelt, and it was wet which means it happened sometime recently. She then brought out my cage. I only brought one cage because I have small dogs and they shared the very large cage. As a side note, I bring my own cage because I want my dogs to feel comfortable in their own stuff plus, I don't like them have to lay on a cold hard concrete floor. Next, she brought out the dog cage, no big deal there. I'm going to sanitize the cage just because it was in a kennel over the weekend but the cage seems to be clean. Finally my two dogs came out to greet me. You can tell they were ready to go! I believe they would have felt like this no matter where there were though because there's no place like home! Anyway, my sisters dog and my dog BOTH smelt like urine and had a thin layer of sand stuck to their bellies. This is NOT how I was thinking things would have gone with my dogs being boarded at Paws Inn. The lady that helped gather my dogs stuff and get my dogs to me was very nice. She was a little older but I didn't catch her name. She's honestly the only reason I didn't snap and say something about this while I was there. She looked at me and told me that today (Monday) was the first time she got to meet our dogs because she didn't work on the weekends and that both of our dogs seemed very sweet. She also mentioned that she was very sorry that the bed had urine on it and that if she would have been there, she would have washed it. She said "I hate to give you this like this, it should have been washed". Anyway, she had a big heart and I wish that she would have watched my dogs but I understand that everyone needs a day or two off as well. I hate to write negative reviews but reviews are there for a reason. This wasn't just an experience that wasn't so bad that I'd be willing to give it another shot. This was an experience that is uncalled for. I don't mind spending the money to get GOOD SERVICE but I spent $64.00 on two days where I feel like my dogs were not taken care of. 1. Dogs bed was saturated with urine. 2. Both dogs were covered in urine and a thin layer of sand. 3. We sent my dogs with feeding instructions and extra food just in case we wouldn't make it back when we said we would be back. My dogs were overfed. The smallest of my two dogs is way larger than normal! We're going to have to put her on a mini diet to get her back to normal. They came back with NO food (which means that extra food that we sent them with was fed to them which in turn tells me that they DID NOT feed them according to our feeding directions. I hope that others that do decide to board their dogs here have a good experience. This was my second time boarding here. The first time, the prices were cheaper and the experience was better. After today, I will not be returning, my dogs are my family. I want the absolute best for them. read more

Last week we vacationed in Myrtle Beach. Our condo was not pet friendly so we decided to board our dog (Bo) at Paws Inn. Upon arrival we were greeted by Patsy who had all of our paperwork ready. We met Karen (the best caregiver, ever) and told her about his anxiety and recent loss of sight. We were so pleased with the care that they took to make Bo comfortable. We boarded our American Toy Fox Terrier at this kennel about a year ago. Our pet contracted kennel cough. Since we also use them as a Vet ( next door) we thought they would treat our dog. We were charged for the visit as well as the medication. Two weeks ago we tried them once again since the other kennel we started to use was full Upon returning our dog again had contracted kennel cough Would not recommend this kennel. Highly unusual to our otherwise healthy dog get sick after each visit I hope they get inspected read more

We have one 7 year old dingo mix & a 2 year old sharpei mix. Previous groomer would not attempt to trim nails unless both were sedated which caused side effects that lasted up to 2 days. Too much stress for us & dogs. We tried Paws Inn at the recommendation of a friend and what a difference! Dr. Weathers @ Animal Hospital of NMB, whose buildings are side by side, prescribed calming medication which did the job. Grooming done-dogs happy-owners happy. Our new groomers:) read more

We vacationed in Myrtle Beach and needed to board our two pugs at Paws Inn. The staff really welcomes you and makes you feel like you are leaving your dogs with family. We were even able to stop in during the week and check in on our dogs and bring them for a walk. When we picked our dogs up, we saw that they were cared for extremely well the whole time they were there. I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone that wants to leave their babies in a safe, loving environment. We will use this place again and again when vacationing in Myrtle Beach. Not willing to be flexible or helpful. I made an appointment for boarding my dog early May. On my way down I got caught in traffic; which is typical to happen. I call them to inform that I was running a little late and would be there no later than five minutes after their closing time. A woman told me that there probably wouldn't be any there. I asked if someone could stay because it would be a huge inconvenience for me. Her response was "I can't promise anything". I arrived at paws inn four minutes after closing time and no one was there. The place where I was staying had a no dog policy. My dog had to sleep outside in the cold all night and any one could have taken her. I took my dog to paws inn the next day and they didn't have me on their list because I was a "no show". They were still able to take her but it didn't help the situation. I came back to pick up my dog that weekend and a lady ran out as I was about to leave and apologize to me for what had happened. She said, at least you got to spend time with your dog. If I wanted to do that, I wouldn't have called them in the first place. All they had to do was sit and wait just four minutes and all that hassle could have been avoided. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone because terrible beach traffic is not an uncommon thing for that area. And that's something they should understand trying to run a business. read more
