I immediately picked him up and was shocked to see A DEEP HOLE in his right eye. It was swollen almost shut and covered in pus. I couldn't believe how bad his eye was and that no one had called us! We rushed him to the animal hospital where we were told that the cut was so deep he needed to see a specialist. He was obviously in a great deal of pain so the hospital had to give him pain killers while we waited. He had emergency surgery today which cost us $4000 and there is no guarantee he won't lose his right eye. The doctor confirmed that this had happened several days prior and had been getting worse. I am outraged that no one did anything while he was in their care. Photos taken show that his eye was obviously infected days prior and no communication was given to us or his emergency contact. Do yourself a favour and book somewhere else. Even though management refunded us for his stay, the mistreatment and neglect of animals like this is not okay.

They have accommodations for dogs of all sizes. They have some farm animals that our dog Elvis loves it there. Donna sends me an update and pictures of my furbaby everytime he is there. That gives me and my husband peace of mind. As I have to go to Cleveland Ohio mayo clinic in Cleveland so having to deal with health issues is enough worry. Donna makes my worry much less about my furbaby Elvis.! Donna and your partner thank you, you are both the best and Elvis loves coming to you's. She does well in the camper and mostly sleeps when we're gone. She's content. However, the campground said we couldn't even leave her in the camper. We had made reservations for 2 day cruises. Fortunately, Donna and Art were there. They accepted Blueberry and kept her for day boarding for 2 days. We were able to attend both cruises, and Blueberry was just fine. The kennel building on the farm was nice and clean, and Blueberry enjoyed the smells of the farm when Donna took her out for walks. Great experience for us!

The kennels are immaculate as well as the outside space for running and exercise. The dogs are treated to wonderful play areas both inside and out. In the summer, there are tented areas for the dogs so they can rest in the shade as well as wading pools in order to cool down. There is also a caterpillar tunnel for dogs to play in and remain amused. The owner, Christine, loves dogs and is very astute as to where each dog should board. She matches the dogs up to age and size. Each space has its own elevated dog bed and is extremely clean. Also, the cost per day is reasonable. I would higly recommend Country Estate Boarding Kennels to any dog owner.

We had been boarding Babou and Zazou at Pet Smart when we went away, and it was okay, but we always…read morejoked that they were effectively boarded together in a kitchen cabinet: two shelves and a litter box. We weren't unhappy, but Zazou came home with some kind of an upset stomach the last time, so we looked for somewhere else. We found Priority Pets on Google and they were boarded together in a whole room with toys, multiple litter trays, a double bed, a cat tree that had a view out the window and plenty of space. We were given the option to keep them private or give them the run of the house with other cats and even more things to do and explore. The host (Michelle) was very nice, obviously loved cats, took time to give them attention and kept us up to date with photos and videos. Pickup, drop off, making a change, registering and paying were a breeze. It was obviously a much better experience for the cats, and much easier for us. We will always board them with Priority Pets in the future and would recommend it to anyone.

Emily has been a godsend to us since we got our puppy back in February. She is also VERY good at exercising him and helping him get all his puppy energy out so he sleeps through the night for us, which was a real struggle in the beginning. I toured 3 other places before choosing Dragonluck. My dog was rescued from a puppy mill and has severe separation anxiety and housebreaking issues...It is hard to put into words what Dragonluck has done for his rehabilitation! Dawn spent a lot of time teaching him to stay close to her when off-leash (greyhounds tend to take off so this is an accomplishment). After we had been sending him three times per week for a couple of months, we noticed an incredible difference In his behaviour and confidence. Dawn is very flexible and happy to take the dogs whenever is needed and with little notice. She has a tremendous amount of knowledge and is happy to share it because she really loves all of her clients. The property is large and there is a place for them to swim and play, and it's all well fenced. My dog loves going here and starts dancing in the back seat as soon as we turn into the driveway. The price is very reasonable! I don't hesitate to recommend Dragonluck to anyone. Dawn and her helpers are wonderful!

Having never been before we decided to make a holiday of it and take our motorhome and of course Cooper(our puggle) came with us. After searching for a kennel online we happened to contact Dawn at Dragonluck Kennels. Not only did she help us with our questions and helped make our choice to use dragonluck, she went above and beyond. We emailed back and forth with her replies being quick not leaving me waiting. Originally Cooper was going to just use the daycare for a few hours the day of the wedding, however plans changed and he ended up on an overnight. In order to allow us to sight see the next day before leaving Ottawa, she offered to deliver Cooper to us at our campground, saving us a trip back out to the kennel (at least 1/2 hour away). Cooper was in fine spirit and didn't seem to have any anxiety over being away from us. And he ate!!! That is incredible in itself. As he is 11+ years, he has developed some separation anxiety when in strange environments. Apparently not at Dragonluck. Dawn and the staff get a huge thumbs up from us, Great experience. Read on My wife got everything done by email for are 2 dogs to stay here. The morning of are trip she email the dogs medical info and asked if there was anything we needed to bring or need to know before we go. We were told no and they would see us later. Being are first time there we showed up around 2 not knowing there are special drop off times. The owner was rude from the start and wanted us to pay $31.00 to drop off the dogs early and that we should no this as it's on the email. I started to asked my wife to take a look at the emails and the owner didn't let me finish my conversation with my wife when she went nuts screaming at us and getting in our face. I keep asking if I could finish my conversation but she keep freaking out saying no and telling us to pay the $31 or get out of her property. If she would have let me finish I would have said if it's on the email i have no issues paying it. We ended up leaving as her verbal harassment was to much. We later check all email correspondence and the only thing is a small signature block with the time they are open. There was nothing in regards to a early drop off fee or a fee if you show up at a deferent time. When then went to Hwy 7 pet retreat unannounced. It was not a drop off time but they were very helpful and kind and had room for our dogs. Since it was our first time there they took the time with a smile to explain how it works there. Oh ya no extra charge. One must not forget that this is a service oriented business that should be handled with poise and a smile. Thank you for reading this review.
