I have a corgi puppy and a border collie. They are quick, always on time and care about your pets. They give you multiple options instead of just a here-you-go kind of service. I own a local grooming company and recommend them to everyone. I had a bad experience at a different local vet here in anthem. To say it was bad is an understatement. New river has always welcomed with warm hugs. I did price comparisons at other vets in about a 20 mile radius and this vets prices beat everyone else's as well as having good service. Tammy completed the paperwork and asked my mother sign it. My mother did not personally complete the paperwork, yet it ended up indicating mass cremation--something my mother never chose and had never selected in more than 20 years with this practice. ALL HER DOGS HAVE BEEN CREMATED AND RETURNED TO HER!!! She only discovered what had happened when she called asking when she would receive her dog's remains. What happened next was even worse. Instead of taking responsibility, investigating what actually occurred, or simply admitting a mistake, Sarah, the owner/vet, defended the staff and blamed my elderly mother. There is paperwork showing Tammy's handwriting and my mother's signature. If there is camera footage of the encounter, review it and determine the truth. In our opinion, Tammy and Sarah are lying to cover their mistake and shifting the blame onto an elderly, grieving woman who trusted this practice for decades. That is not accountability. It is not compassion. And it is completely unacceptable. My mother deserved better. Our dog deserved better. After 20+ years of loyalty, we deserved better. Think twice before trusting this practice with your pet--or your family. They only care about the money.

He asked that I buy a lock box on Amazon and place it somewhere in the garage of my building with my keys inside for the pet sitter. I'm used to giving my keys to my pet sitters, but this is actually pretty convenient because it means that I can get my key back right away when I come home. There have been a couple pet sitters who have been to my place, but Anna has been there the most. All of them post updates with photos that appear on the app that you can download on your smartphone (you also get an email copy of this as well). I feel like Anna has really gotten to know my kitty and I appreciate that she really seems to enjoy spending time with her. The other convenient thing about this pet sitter is that you can request the dates of your pet sits online and also you can pay for them with credit card afterwards.

Margie and the team are highly reliable. They offer a range of Pet Care while you're away, while you're in town, or need a regular dog walker. Margie is very thorough in her onboarding to ensure clear communication and avoid misunderstandings. They go to great lengths to work as a team to resolve issues but are not hesitant to reach out to me at any time. A few things I like are they do report cards every time they come to the house and that the rates feel very reasonable for all that is included. Our family can leave our beloved dogs and cats at home, knowing they are in great hands. I highly recommend this team not only for the excellent customer service but also for the professionalism with which they handle everything. Thank you, TLC!!

The best way we can tell she prefers he Sonoran Desert Pet Resort over Pet(not so)Smart, she doesn't have that nervous shake when we take her in. We don't have to drag her in, and in fact she drags us into the doors at Sonoran!! When we pick her up, you can tell she had loads of fun and she's tired from playing and she DOES NOT SMELL!! We used to use the other places and she would come home stinky and you could tell she was ready to come home. (LET ME OUT OF HERE!!) This is becoming our dogs home away from home. The staff here is very friendly, professional and you can tell they are genuinely interested in taking care of your pet. You pet isn't just another ticket for them... They rates are very reasonable!! Over night stays range between $33 - $43 depending on what type of room or kennel your dog prefers. Their Daycare is very reasonable too! The Half Day Daycare up to 6 hours is probably the best deal at just $12 where as a full Day Daycare is $20. They do watch cats too, but I have no idea what their rates are for cats. This is an excellent place to bring your pooch whether it's just for a couple of hours, a day or over night! The safety and security of your pet is there top priority. I know my dog is looking forward to her next daycare/over night stay at the Sonoran Desert Pet resort! Hopefully she will see your dog their too!
