They are went above and beyond in my opinion. Mathias was comforted and treated like family. They went so far as to clean the carrier and wash his blanket and even give him a thorough and badly needed nail trimming and shampoo. I would highly recommend this business. Matty has recovered wonderfully and we are so lucky to have found Vogel Veterinary Hospital for our cat's needs. Many thanks to all!

I was recently very disappointed and angry regarding how our beagle's health was handled just last…read moreweek. I brought him in because he was breathing very fast. First, the vet tells me he has a heart murmur, which really surprised me because he had been going there since we got him as a puppy to 7 years old as of last week and that condition was never brought up before. She did ask to do an x-ray to see if she could see anything about the heart before we had to take him to a dog cardiologist. She comes back and tells me he "might" have a murmur but the breathing was due to pneumonia. I had to then authorize another test to be sent out to find out what kind of pneumonia he had and was sent home with the lowest type of antibiotic until then and a $580.00 bill. Unfortunately, he passed away two days later. I don't understand how she didn't see he had so much fluid in his lungs and either do something to relieve that or keep him for observation. When I called them to tell him he died, all I was told that she was sorry and then transferred me to the receptionist to tell me MORE charges to take care of him from there! We took him to Imperial Animal Hospital instead where they had more compassion and lower prices to offer us during this difficult time. I will NEVER take another one of our animals there again. I feel the vet was very negligent in fully diagnosing his condition at that time. I have not heard another word from them and plan on disputing the charges with our credit card company. BUYER BEWARE!
