We visited this facility, met Ben and Jen, and shortly after, a very comprehensive plan was developed. Louie was boarded for a week at the Happy Dog Inn, my husband took a week off from work, and twice daily, my husband brought our dogs here for integration, training with Ben's assistance, and overall socialization. The plan was well thought-out and included time with the three dogs at the Inn together, time romping in the fields and learning to like one another, time with Louie at our house while our other two stayed for a couple of hours.... It was, as I indicated, an incredibly comprehensive plan and....it was completely successful! At the end of this week, Louie came home and has become one of the pack, accepted by the other two! The dedication of the entire staff to this endeavor was incredible. All of the young women who work there became involved and invested. Jen and Ben were both texting and checking in and offering moral support. Honestly, by the end of this time, it felt like we had a new family. Amazingly, they charged us only for the boarding time for Louie; there was no charge for the training or the hours of time with our dogs on-site. This was truly a labor of love from the entire staff! Both were healthy before boarding and had recently been seen by my veterinarian. During the stay, my 12-year-old German Shepherd, Mojo, became critically ill and collapsed. At the emergency vet, he had a 106°F fever, dehydration and serious gastrointestinal and organ abnormalities. He died that day. My other dog, Rigby, came home from the same boarding stay and developed a 103°F fever, vomiting and diarrhea. Despite veterinary care, his health declined rapidly and he was euthanized approximately three days later. I repeatedly requested records showing when my dogs we given water and administered their medications, as well as an incident report. I have not received the documentation I requested, despite being told that protocols were followed. I also saw an approximately five-week-old wolf-dog puppy at the facility that I was told had been confiscated from a backyard breeding situation. I asked about its veterinary care and vaccination status but did not receive answers. This concerned me because customers are required to provide vaccination records for their own dogs. My veterinarian later explained that without specific PCR testing, infectious causes could not be ruled out. I am not claiming to know exactly what caused my dogs' illnesses. What I know is that both dogs became critically ill during or immediately after the same boarding stay and both died within days. We requested MANY times to alert clients about our dogs' symptoms and deaths. To our knowledge they never let anyone know. I know that I would want to know. Losing Mojo and Rigby was devastating. I believe pet owners deserve documentation, transparency and answers when something this serious happens. I would want another pet owner to know about my experience before deciding where to leave their animals.

Emmy is very high maintenance but Amanda will do everything and more with no complaints. And for a very fair price. Emmy loves going to Amanda's because she knows she will be cared for and attended to. Amanda knows each dog by name and personality, and she is always patient, attentive, and professional. She will send photo updates throughout the day so I can see our little Emmy having fun with the other dogs. Amanda's space is clean, safe, and spacious for all dog sizes. Emmy always comes home tired but happy which is great for her and us. I can't recommend enough.

Alison is the manager who has become my boy's bestie & is HANDS DOWN the most genuinely compassionate & caring person!! She gives us incredible feedback which has also been helpful during our offsite trainer. She is incredibly mindful of not overly stressing him. She ALWAYS goes above & beyond & this has clearly been passed down to her staff. Maia has also been so amazing with my boy as well. There are also others I wish I knew their names who are so understanding and greet you in a caring compassionate manner up front. They are so understanding that this process is also not easy for the pet parents too. My boy has even been able to get 2 baths now and ears cleaned! We can never express enough how much our experiences have meant to us in how they care for our boy. I wouldn't go ANYWHERE else. We were recommend Unleash Fido by several people. We scheduled an hour long consultation with Travis who ended up giving us 90 minutes of his time to learn about Lily and discuss their program. Lily had several issues, such as pulling on the leash, lunging at cars, barking at people + other dogs and going absolutely crazy when Amazon/UPS was delivering a package. Ultimately, we booked Lily into their month-long Obedience Training Camp. After receiving weekly report cards that contained photos, videos and a brief update on how the last week was, we were finally ready to pick-up Lily. Our first time picking her up was also our first training with her. We worked on establishing place, having her heel while walking, and working on other things around distractions. Within the first 24 hours back at home, our investment in this training payed dividends. She's obedient on walks, doesn't mind others passing by, comes to us on call, goes to place when told and so much more. We'd highly recommend anyone who's dealing with behavior and/or obedience issues to look into Unleash Fido! It was so embarrassing to have an unruly dog, and this was a true investment that we are so happy we made.
