It's been a life saver with my work schedule. All indoors ( don't have to worry about the outdoor heat) They have different play rooms (they match your pups energy and group) Their staff is on it. Everyone communicates really well and make it so easy. They text you photos when you're out of town, they have a Facebook group. Prices are very competitive. They do not have grooming but can do baths and nails! For my old man I asked he has downtime vs the all day play so he's not too tired and he takes his naps for blocks at a time to rest. I contacted Dog days & Cat naps. I was surprised when the owner JP answered the phone. After a long conversation , all he had available on short notice was a 30 min drop in session with Lora. I couldn't be happier with her services. She was on time and followed what we talked about to the exact point. Because we had back to back trips I had to schedule a 3 hr in house pup- sitter. This time we had Kourtney she was always on time. She played, walked and gave Solo hugs and cuddles for their time together. Both Lora and Kourtney were great with Solo. I am so happy to have found you!…read more I recently went on a week-long vacation out of the country and while I usually leave my two cats with family, most of my family also happened to be out of town so for the first time in having my cats for 11 years, I had to look for somewhere to board my cats. My cats have never been boarded, they have always been with my or family or a very close friend who was a vet tech so I was very apprehensive to leave my cats with strangers. My cats are also 11 and 12 years old so this was going to be new to them which made me even more apprehensive. I really did not want them in cages and kennels for 9 days! I saw The Waggin Trail Express advertised on Groupon so I gave them a call to see what they were about. Becky answered the call quickly and was able to answer my multitude of questions which really helped me put my mind at ease. Instead of buying the Groupon I ended up going through Becky and she was sweet enough to give the current special as well as offer to transport my cats for me. When she got off the phone, she emailed me some forms and authorizations which I was able to fill out. She also sent me the link to make the reservation. On the day of my trip, I loaded up my kitties along with some of their favorite items such as their favorite food, treats, blankets and toy. I got to the property/Kitty Kottage and Joel immediately met me at the door and helped me bring in my cats and their belongings. He showed me the cat room, showed me the setup and stayed in the room while we let the cats out of their carriers to roam and investigate the new surroundings. Joel was really great with putting my mind at ease and when I left, I felt my cats were in good hands. Each cat gets their own little house so they have their own space to sleep in and go to when they aren't roaming or playing. I fell in love with the little houses and think my cats did too. Joel was great and when he found I had cell service abroad, he sent me many pictures of my kitties. They also post pictures of their current residents on their Facebook page. When I got back 9 days later, my girls were great. I don't know if they just loved it there so much or if they were mad at me for leaving but they didn't want to leave their little houses! Joel helped me carry all of my kitties belongings to my car and made the pack up of their stuff very easy. Thank you so much to Beck and Joel for taking such good care of my girls! If I am leaving again and my family can't watch them, you are first on my list! Just an FYI, there are two properties for the Waggin Trail Express. The cats and dogs are not house together so the dogs are in once residence and the cats are held in the other. This was really great and probably makes settling for the cats much easier.

When I told Snicker before Bob's visit that he was coming, he would look happy and wag his tail. I knew that Snicker was in good hands when Bob was caring for him. Bob's visits also provided protection for the house and he notified me of any problems that needed attention. I now have a red factor canary in the house and goldfish in an outdoor pond. He makes daily visits to feed them when I travel. At the last visit, Bob spent daily quality time with the canary and also trimmed his nails. He removes leaves and pine needles from the outdoor pond when he feeds the fish. It is such a pleasure to travel with the knowledge that my animals are being looked after by someone so competent, compassionate and conscientious as Bob. He leaves messages about how they ate and behaved and provides recommendations when needed. It's reassuring to know that he is also checking on the house and removing any tell tail signs that I am away, such as large twigs that fall in the driveway.
