I have been dropping my 2 dogs - Roxy and Hudson here for years when we travel. They are take wonderful care of them and my dogs are always excited to go there. Their prices are very fair and my dogs are always well taken care of. I recommend them to everyone I know who has dogs in the area. Lia is very responsive whenever I email her - great owner! The reception staff is always welcoming. And I know my Roxy girl is a wild child bc she just loves all the dog and people and they handle her wonderfully. Would give more stars if I could! read more

Terrific place so far my poppers were only there for an evaluation. They stayed for a few hours. I did all the paperwork so everything is up-to-date. I just have to be able to bring them when I'm able to, but otherwise the two hours that my dogs were there they loved it. They were exhausted when they came home which is always a good thing. If I could give this place zero stars I would. We brought our puppy there a month ago and ended up with a 300$ vet bill. He was hurt on his leg. Skin and fur was removed and no one could tell us what happened mind you they have "cameras." That same night he developed a double eye infection. They were so worried about Bentley they called us three times after the injury to make sure he was okay. I obviously very upset let it go. I understand he's a dog and stuff happens. Fast forward my partner and I are going on vacation and Bentley our dog is being watched by my father who is not able to give him major exercise. Bentleys rabies and distemper expired 3/6/25. Today is 3/24/25. We ran to get him rabies this past weekend and pawsitively petastic is refusing to accept Bentley this week for even one day because of distemper. After a 300$ bill that was 100% their fault they cannot accommodate us? It's actually insane. I promised that as soon as we got back before his next day there we would have the vaccine. The vaccine is not even past due a month and they want to make it problematic. And when I called they have the nerve to say what he got was just a scratch. Obviously the woman on the phone had no idea what I was talking about. I have voicemails from the so called owner expressing concern over Bentley. They wrapped his leg up there and sent us home with antibiotic cream and a cone and said we could keep it. Obviously it was not just a scratch. I do not recommend this place. If your dog ever gets hurt there I suggest to demand to see the video because I do not trust them and you shouldn't either. read more

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them. I have a standard poodle who loves them. In morning he must go behind counter and give the receptionist a morning greeting then can't wait to go behind closed door. We have boarded Louie there a few times and never had a problem. He comes home tired, very tired. Lia (who BTW loves every fur baby that comes in there) did say that when dogs are boarded and then go home it's like us returning home from a vacation. You need to chill for a few days. That's exactly what Louie does - sleep and follow me around. Ray is a gem. He will try to help you anyway he can. Maryann is priceless. When I am there to pick him up he has to jump on counter to say good bye to Maryann. read more

We read a lot of reviews and decided to come here because they offer no-cage daycare and boarding. The owners Ray and Lia are super nice. Have been sending our one-year-old dog here twice a week for him to play with other dogs and he definitely LOVES this place! He would stand up on the edge of his car seat when we pull in the parking lot. We have always been greeted with "pawsitive" energy and warm welcome from the staff. Our puppy loves the staff here. When I pick him up at the end of the day, he always want to linger and play more with the staff. The minute he got in the car, he would sleep through the ride, get home and eat, then hit the sack for the night. It is said, a tired dog is a good dog. We took our Pommie mix in for a temperament test today. The staff is so friendly and kind. We've always been cat people, this is our first dog and I am still feeling inexperienced when it comes to knowledge of dog personalities. Lia reassured me that the sounds my pup makes are communicating a desire to play; I was worried they were sounds of aggression. He always does fine at the dog park and on walks but not having much experience with dogs I couldn't be sure. We got a wonderful tour of the facility - without an appointment, just called and asked if we could stop by, have our account all set up, spent some time watching him run around with the other dogs, and are now planning to bring him in for daycare so he can have some doggie playdates. Facility is clean, smells good, is HUGE and decorated so well. read more

Today was my puppy's first day. Dropped him off at 7 am and has been playing non stop! He's 6 months old and there's older dogs and dogs younger than 1 year as well. The owner sent me videos and kept me updated that he was ok and playing with the other dogs. I had to make sure his vaccines were up to date, flea/tick collar, and free of parasites. Twice my dog has been injured here. The second time was quite bad. 21 days later and she still can't resume full activity. This picture is of her 21 days after the 2nd attack (German Sheppard). They assumed responsibility for the attack stating that the German Sheppard snapped and bit my dog out of no where. Then they took her to the hospital where I met them. They said I wouldn't have to worry about any expense since she wasn't supposed to be with the "big" dogs anyway. They did pay for the first bill but have refused to pay for subsequent bills. For follow up care. There wasn't enough skin to properly stitch her up the first time. You can see in the pictures much of it has healed nicely- but there was a big hole that they ultimately had to restitch due to there not being enough skin and meat in that rib area. It has been a lot of work to keep a 1 year old Weimaraner from running and playing for 3 weeks. I've been managing, but it's a full time job. In retrospect it isn't worth the "convenience" to take my dog there if I end up with weeks and months of inconvenience and vet bills to take care of an injured dog. It's very very sad for me since I actually really liked this place. But this is the 2nd time this has happened so I know now this will happen again and again. Not worth it. read more

They took great care of my German Shepherd Ringo during a 6 day stay. They have a good system of separating the bigger dogs from the smaller dogs and had no problem handling him, he is a good dog but very vocal ( I think he thinks he has human vocal chords ) and I would imagine a handful, he is very strong. They had to evaluate/screen him first which I appreciated, to me it indicates an extra level of care and safety. Very easy dropoff and pickup with friendly and professional staff. I have used them several times and would recommend, when we go on vacation and board him here we have peace of mind that he will be well cared for. I saw an earlier review blasting this kennel and it is complete BS, I have boarded my dog here several times and no issues when I picked him up with illness or fleas or whatever, give me a break. It's less like a kennel and more like a hotel/hostel for dogs, my dog came back happy and safe, what more can you ask for? read more

My dog Sasha LOVES this place. Sometimes on a freezing cold or rainy day I drop her off for an hour or two just so she can have a "playdate" with the other dogs and I don't have to feel guilty for keeping her cooped up inside.Once a week she goes for the whole day. When I go on vacation I leave her there for the week. Its expensive but I'd rather have her in a place that she loves, where shes well attended to and having fun then having a dog walker show up twice a day while she sits there all day by herself. I read Adrienne L's post--I am so sorry your dog got bit, that's truly horrible. I have never heard of that happening there before but I'm not surprised. I took Sasha to the dog park and she got bit on her lip by another dog. It happens in an instant. I'm sure that dog who bit yours is no longer going to Pawsitively Petastic. read more

I wish I could rate Pawsitively Petastic less than 1 star. I brought my dog here for 3 days and never left a bad review because it's not my thing. Since then I have heard of so many people bringing their dogs there and having bad experiences so if this helps people it's worth it. We dropped my dog off and were reassured that he would be taken care of and properly watched. We were also promised photos and videos sent and check ins if we called. I didn't get one photo or video and every time I called I got a girl with a nasty attitude who didn't seem to want to be bothered with my call to check in on my 1 and a half year old corgi who wouldn't hurt a fly and is a lot smaller than most dogs. When we picked him up he could hardly walk, had a limp and was incredibly lethargic. I still didn't say anything because I figured he overexerted and would be fine after a good sleep. When we got him home we noticed his paws were all cut up and bright red and swollen. We also noticed he had a really foul odor even though we paid extra for a bath. We noticed a spot underneath his arm that looked like a hotspot but had some sort of brown sticky substance all over it. We took him to the vet and we're told he obviously wasn't being watched or taken care of due to the state we picked him up in. After fighting with both Ray and Lia, who got defensive over my accusations of neglect, which is exactly what goes on there, I finally got them to agree to give me my money back after they offered to give me a discounted rate the next time I brought my dog in (as if I would ever step foot in the place again). They wouldn't pay for the vet bills and accused me of only caring about money which is ridiculous and downright rude after the way my dog was treated. Money is not the problem and I would pay whatever price necessary to make sure my dog is okay. I would never even look on the direction of that place again and I hope this helps save someone else the heartache of watching their dog in pain after trusting people to keep them safe when you're not around. read more

BEWARE. My dog was boarded here for the first time for 3 nights. The minute I picked him up I knew something was wrong. He smelled awful, was beyond lethargic and didn't interact at all. I realized he was licking his paw a lot, which he does not normally do- when I glanced at his paw for a second I noticed that the paw pad actually looked detached and his 2 front paws were red, swollen, and had an awful odor- almost like rotten fish. I took him to the vet the next morning and it Turns out he has a bacterial infection in both front paws and needs to be on antibiotics for 3-6 weeks. The next morning he started vomiting blood. To go away and try to have peace of mind and TRUST a facility to care for your pet and come home to this is heartbreaking. It's been a nightmare for our family since we picked him up. It's been one thing after another. What kills me the most is no one noticed that something was wrong with him. Sadly, this place is about quantity and not quality. With too many dogs, I guess it's a big ask to expect that anyone is actually paying attention to your dog. When I notified the owner about my dogs infection she said "it's not our fault" and "we do our best." She offered to give me money off the next time I bring him but said they don't cover vet bills- I would NEVER bring my dog back there and the guilt I have for ever trusting them will never go away. Not like helping with vet bills would get him better- but to relieve some of the burden when he was clearly neglected in their care would've been the right thing to do. If he was there for another day or 2 he would've been hospitalized and could've died. It also pains me that she said "it's not our fault"- so who's fault is it? The dog? I would understand if he got something like kennel cough, or a stomach bug not being their fault but an infection in both paws and no one noticing that he was clearly ill is 100% their fault. I am not one to complain and I really wanted to love this place. I also called daily checking on him and it seemed whoever answered the phone was annoyed by the calls and just said "he slept and ate." Which I don't believe. Also, not one picture or video was sent and they said they would. Bottom line is, if you're ok with your dog basically being unsupervised and neglected this is the place for you. If you worry about your pet and want them to get great care, stay away. I also don't need a lengthly response from the owner like the previous complaints pretending to care about my dog. You care about quantity and have more animals than your staff can properly manage and care for. Shame on you. read more

What a place! My girlfriend and I are so happy to have found this place. Isabel a 7.25LB Chihuahua dachshund has an absolute blast here. The staff is so nice! We where in need of somewhere to bring my puppy for the weekend. So we did our research and didn't want our dog at a caged kennel. Here the dogs run free! No cages! Plenty of toys! Plenty of fun! Even more reassuring is that we had to send any and all vet records and proof of vaccines. Then we had to do a temperament test to make sure she wasn't aggressive or she would be ok with other dogs! So not only was Isabel safe with others but the others where tested too to make sure they'd be ok with her! Very thorough and professional! Isabel will be back soon thanks again guys!!! read more

Lia at Pawsitively Petastic was great and I would highly recommend boarding your dog with her. The first week we adopted our dog, we had to leave him overnight. We knew immediately that little Bo was in such great hands with Lia. There was a big yard for him to run around in, and lots of other dogs to play with. Lia made us feel completely at ease and we felt great leaving him there. She even sent us pictures of Bo during our time away! We will definitely use her services again! read more

PUT YOUR DOG THERE AT OWN RISK!!!! Previously brought my dog there a few times with apparently no major issues. 1st time though my boxer did end up with kennel cough which did require a visit to the vet. Another time we took her there and she ended up getting hook worm and giardia which also required a slightly more expensive vet visit. My wife just dropped her off yesterday morning and shortly thereafter received a phone call that another dog was playing with her and "playfully" bit her in the leg and may require a stitch. Well after bringing her to the vet for a "stitch" she not only had multiple bite marks but the main laceration was more of a gaping quarter size hole that required multiple stitches and 418 dollars later we were on our way home. I know that you sign a whole bunch of wavers giving them absolutely no responsibility but they obviously don't have complete control of all dog interactions. Maybe if they took a little ownership in what happened my response wouldn't have been so harsh... read more
