I took my beautiful HAVANESE to her for a trim 2 times the trim was ok. Right before xmas I took my dogs to her I told her to just trim its too cold and he is 14 years old she SKINNED HIM TO THE BONE. My husband picked him up I was not home I was so upset I had to hurry and get sweaters for him he was shivering so bad . Its almost a month and he still has a sweater on it will take 4 months for his hair to grow She never took all the hair out from in his ears and his face cut was so bad the hair on his right side hangs in his eye, He as a he had a knot so she charged me 5.00. She also groomed my poodle mix which was difficult to groom she said she could work on him she had him 10 hours he was groomed his face a mess yet I understood that but of she would have done him first I had him tranquilized I asked her to do it. Updated to say that Zusias was awesome for doing a last minute nail trim on my bulldog today! Zusias is wonderful. The price for a nail trim and bath is only $30. The facility is clean and the staff is friendly. They were very understanding when my rescue girl had anxiety. My dogs always come back smelling fresh and clean. If you have an English Bulldog I highly recommend them. They make sure to thoroughly clean and moisture theirh wrinkles and tail pocket. We will be going to Zusias for all grooming needs! read more

Love Suzanne, the owner, as she takes wonderful care of my dog! She grooms her perfectly and her pet-sitting service when I travel is fantastic! My dogs are able to sleep in their own beds at home, goes with Suzanne to doggie daycare on the weekdays and has 3-4 visits at home with playtime when the business is closed. We are snowbirds from Canada who went looking for doggie daycare in Fountain Hills so we could go golfing. We are thrilled we found Zusia's. Sue and Dana are a wonderful hard working couple who truly love the pets they care for. Their hours are great as is the food selection and accessories. Our 13 and a half year old lab, Zoe, was well taken care of in a no pen environment with a large play area in the back. All the dogs looked happy and played together. We also had Zoe groomed one day and she looked years younger. Nice job! We highly recommend Zusia's and will be returning next year. read more

Zusia's is by far the best pet place in town!! I moved here 2.5 years ago from AK and was so happy that I found this very loving and caring couple Susan and Dana!! They took my girls under their wing even when they were slammed busy to make sure they were taken care of!! We are fully dedicated to Zusia's and use them for grooming, doggy day care, treats and goodies!! Another bonus to Zusia's is their newer long term doggy day care! I have left town a couple times and was always ok with doing so because I knew my dogs were in good hands! Living in Fountain Hills they will come pick your pets up and take them to their facility to play and spend the day with them! Once the day is over they return them to their home and feed dinner plus little more play! Last but not least they do 1 last night time visit to let them out before bed time!! Excellent service!! I can't explain how happy I am that they have come into me and my girls life!! No doubt you will be 110% happy with their services!! read more

Zusia's is the best! My yorkie loves attending daycare & getting her hair cut at her favorite place! I wouldn't take my beloved dog anywhere else! By the way, Julie's review from 4/3 seems off base. I have been going to Zusias for years & Dana & Suzanne (not Sue) have been nothing but kind hardworking business owners. They always take good care of your dog & do what's right. Unfortunately, not all customers take good care of their dogs to begin with & they are left dematting fur for hours and cleaning filthy eyes and ears. awesome groomer :) I loved how well they trimmed and cleaned my furbaby up. I dont know if it is common practice with most grooming places to place dogs in cages, but thats the only reason I took a star away was for that. It would be nice if he got to roam free but I dont know maybe they want to keep him clean lol All in all really happy with their service, the staff is extremely nice and helpful. After a few failed tries with different groomers, I am happy to say that Zusia's staff is the one :) They understood what I wanted and knew how to go about it with expertise! I normally go to another groomer in Scottsdale but I wanted to try this place closer to home. I have gone 3 times and they seemed ok. I brought my Biewer Yorkies to this place today at 10am and they said they would call me when they were ready. I get a call at 3:30pm to tell me that they were almost done grooming that they had emergency call and they had to go pick up another pet and that is why she is not done. He called me back at 4:22pm to say they were done and that she would discuss the matting. When I got there she told me that she spent 5 hours dematting my 2 Yorkies. I find the story that the husband told me was different then the wife. When I requested to see my puppies before I pay, she refused. She told me she knew "my kind" and that I would take the Yorkies and run and not pay. This was ridiculous, so I called the sheriff in town to come to mediate. This owner is out of control and was trying to uncharge me and tell me that she spent from 10am - 4:30pm grooming them but the husband said they had an emergency call. She also did not shave their ears as I always request. I was being VERY difficult and being a crazy person. NEVER will I recommend this place to anyone or go back. I will definitely go back to my regular groomer as I do not have to deal with her crazy drama. I am looking for drama free people and it seems she was prejeduce and insinuated "my kind" and paranoid that I would ripe her off, which to means that she is trying to deflect her own guilt of trying to ripe me off. She did not do a good job and did not shave there ears and was trying to uncharge me. I had to call the sheriff before they showed me my dogs to make sure she did her job. Again, I would NEVER ever recommend her to anyone else or go back. She gave very bad customer service. Sue and Dana were telling me 2 different stories and Sue probably did not spend over 5 hours on grooming my Yorkies. Their stories were fishy. read more
