    Botch Job today

BUYER BEWARE! Pawsperity, formally the Grooming Project was once a great place to take your dog. Good cuts with low prices and it felt good to help a non for profit. Unfortunately that has changed and I found that out for certain today. I have been having issues with this organization's customer service skills since April of this year. Reminders that fail to remind you to bring your dog's shot record. Not inputting the dog's shot record ago after you give it to them the first time so you have to go and get it so you can give it to them again. Losing the dog's paperwork. And what I thought was the the most astounding, having a groomer constantly call my dog by "they" instead of his name, then attempting to enlighten me about gender regarding my dog. But today, after answering specific questions and detailed information about how I wanted my dog groomed, they apparently tossed out all the notes and groomed my Schnauzer like a French Poodle removing all of his whiskers and facial hair. This action was not done by a student but by the student instructor. I believe this is the unspoken protocol. Have a customer that expresses concern about your customer service, just do a botch job on their dog's hair then tell them they can't come back when they complain. That exact same thing happened to another reviewer. The sad thing is their customer service used to be impeccable. It seems that in their desperation to get students they're taking just about anyone.

    Great program!

WOW! This was a great find that is a win for both me and the community. After my last fail with using a grooming Groupon, I found another for a place close to me. The Groupon included the entire grooming package, cut, wash, nails, ears, etc. Being I have short hair dogs, I did not need the cut option. I called to see what options were available and was told grooming without the cut runs $12. WHAT?!?!?!?! Both dogs would cost less than what I normally pay for just the pug! Of course I had to see what this was all about. EPEC is a training program that pays a living wage to people while they learn skills they can then take and find jobs or start their own business. Trainees are under supervision while performing grooming tasks. They also teach life skills that will help the participant find success in all areas. SO, how did the grooming go? Much better than the last groupon at another business. And just as good as any groomer I have used in the past that I was happy with. The boys came home clean and smelling great. You won't get cute handkerchiefs or bows, but come on, for what you are paying and the opportunity you are giving someone, buy your own accessories. Seriously check this place out. Make them your regular groomer. Donate to them. Heck, let's have a Yelp event where we make a bunch of bows and handkerchiefs for them! 10 stars!!! (Shots must be current. For Fido, not you.)

I was a bit nervous to see what groomers were out there, but I saw that this place had excellent reviews and in this case, it was an emergency I had found a tick on my dog and wanted to make sure that we took precautions got him groomed and treated. I called the puppy parlor and right away. They booked me for the first availability that they had the same day. It was a miracle and I was so grateful to be able to get a spot. They were very professional and thorough. They asked me questions about the dog. If I had any concerns, they listed the pricing over the phone of their services so I had an idea before walking in once I got off the phone they sent me a confirmation text and a form to fill out that was super easy to do any additional questions that I had the team was on and super quick to respond and pass along any messages I have for the groomer. When I got to the location to drop off Jack, they were very friendly super quick with checking us in the groomer came out and she was amazing. She made sure to introduce herself to Jack. She went over any concerns that I had or that she has regarding the grooming, great communication skills overall, and I'd love that she made sure that my dog felt safe with her before she took him. She even got to ground-level to introduce herself once I dropped off Jack. They let me know that they would call me and then I can go pick them up. They sent me a text once he was ready and I went to go pick up Jack once I got inside they immediately brought him out and he looked amazing. He was clean. He was happy which is overall the best thing that I can expect he didn't seem scared or skittish he seemed confident and a happy pup. The grooming came out. Perfect he smelled amazing his nails and everything was done perfect perfectly. I am thrilled to have found this place and will definitely be coming back for our regular grooming. Thank you so much to the team and I look forward to coming back soon.

I was satisfied with this Vet for a few years because we usually see a regular Vet for my animals…read more This was until they just changed Vets without our knowledge. My dog fell off the bed and wasn't walking on his hind legs is why we rushed him to Green Summit. Instead of putting my dog on a stretcher they made my husband walk him into their facility. He was wobbly and fell twice on the hard floor before my husband picked him up and they put them in a room. When we called we informed them of our dogs condition and he couldn't put any pressure on his hind legs. He should have been put on a stretcher from the car to get seen. So the new vet came in (a Man with tats on his head) and they misdiagnosed him with an ACL injury and sent us home with steroids and pain pills. No Xray or tests were done. By that night our dog was completely paralyzed from the chest down. We took him to another vet and they said he definitely had a spinal cord injury. which should have been correctly diagnosed from the beginning. After a week of my doggy paralyzed he was no longer urinating, we called around town to see if we could get him in to release his bladder, and Green Summit was the ONLY one who could get him in. So again we took our dog to this vet. The same vet came in but this time not as a man, but as a woman in a wig and a stuffed bra on. He gave us the most vague answers on what we needed to do, so he referred us to an emergency vet. A $400 bill for them to recommend him to a different vet. We got to the emergency vet and after an hour they came in with horrible news, Diesel couldn't be fixed and was living in pain...we had to put my 6 year old guy to sleep. WHY DID YOU HAVE MY DOG EVEN ATTEMPT TO WALK INTO YOUR FACILITY??? We told you over the phone he had no movement in his back legs. I know he was probably wasn't able to be fixed, but with the right diagnosis maybe he wouldn't have suffered for a whole week

Over a month, we were making daily trips to Green Summit, then every other day, then a weekly visit while we waited for one of her puncture marks to close. Every vet that helped us was so thorough and so kind. Our dog also has Cushing's (which was diagnosed by Dr. Sbisa in 2020) and we wouldn't even consider going someplace else because they know her well and treat her well! I'm so tremendously thankful for Dr. Sirna, Dr, Sbisa, and Dr. Schaeffer- they all had a hand in helping my Winnie get better!
