My 13 year old Penny enjoys day care but the staff realizes she needs to have periods of rest in her suite. My youngest Stella is a bundle of energy & every day is a party at day care for her. As a matter of fact when I picked them up the other day after boarding 2 plus weeks, Stella didn't want to leave! I have found Owner Nicole, manager Jane & staff to be extremely responsible and caring.

** LONG POST** I normally wouldn't post something like this…read moreand I am not looking to bash anyone in anyway. But, on Friday I dropped Luna off at Petsagogo in Research park. She's been here a number of times with no incidents... I dropped her off around 8:30 and picked her up around 4. By the time we got home we noticed her side was gashed and there was dried blood. I reached out to ask were they aware of this? Or had they seen this? As it was a Friday and it was late I decided to clean it up myself and Saturday morning I would call her vet. In the meantime the place called me back & explained they hadnt see this happen or that they were aware .. but apparently they saw blood AFTER we happened to leave, separated the dogs, but couldn't find the source. Well, that's because my poor girl wass the source of the blood... although they were very kind, they could not offer me an answer or anything in return. Fast forward to Saturday morning and we get into the vet. Luna ended up needing six staples and is coned for the next 10 to 14 days with limited activity. I have to spend these days walking her on a leash, she can't run, she can't play. She is on a strict bed rest to keep the staples in tact. I decided to reach back out to the place and let them know the outcome. Sadly the only thing they had to offer was that " Staples usually hold up." I asked them to run their cameras so that they can see which Dog did this to her, and in hopes that it doesn't happen to another dog. I know these are risks we take when we drop off our fur babies and I know we sign a waiver when doing so. My biggest concern wasn't that it happened, it was that it happened and no one knew. It happened & I wasn't told because they weren't aware which makes me wonder how often are these dogs left unsupervised? Needless to say I won't be sending her back. I'm glad she's okay and she's going to get all the TLC she needs! I just wish it didn't happen.

He is well cared for and happy, and we check in on him via the video cameras at least once a day while he is there. While there have been a few issues along the way, the staff works with us to manage them, and always keeps us informed.

My cat's regular vet, Just Cats, turned me away due to overbooking, even when I told them she could not walk, and even when I said Dr. Gibbons gave me this cat almost 3 years ago that she personally rescued. My cat had a neurological condition. She stopped having seizures all the time I had her, so I weaned her off most of the meds, then this one horrific day she could no longer walk and was seizing. At Stamford Veterinary Center, the receptionist, and vet tech were so wonderful and caring. And Dr. Newton amazing. I had to put my sweetheart down, and they all made it so much more comfortable for us both. I have dogs as well. And I am going start bringing them there. I appreciate all they did for us both. I highly recommend this Veterinary Center.

My only feedback is that I don't love that in the past years all vaccines and body exams are now done " in the back room, without the owner presence ". One night, the dog became visibly distressed--shaking and moaning. The sitter did her best to keep him calm, and we called the New Canaan veterinary office first thing the next morning to request an urgent appointment. We explained the situation clearly: the dog was in distress and needed immediate attention. After being placed on hold for five minutes, the response we received was deeply disappointing. We were told, "We're too busy today. The doctor is only working a half day and we have no availability." As a dog owner myself--with three dogs--I'm incredibly grateful that this is not my veterinary provider.

When I called Hope Veterinary Group, the front desk gentleman was so kind and understanding. He told me he could fit Simba in the same day if I could get there soon -- which already made me feel relieved. When I arrived, the office was clean, quiet, and welcoming. He quickly signed us in, and we didn't have to wait long before the vet tech came in -- a wonderful, calming Polish lady who made Simba feel instantly comfortable. She had such a gentle, motherly energy, complimenting him the whole time and asking thoughtful questions. The veterinarian was just as amazing -- calm, sweet, and incredibly detail-oriented. She walked me through exactly what she wanted to test, along with the prices (which I appreciated so much since I don't have pet insurance). She and her two male assistants handled Simba with real care and kindness -- they were gentle, professional, and clearly loved what they do. Simba had bloodwork, a urine test, and a vaccine done, and the whole process was quick, stress-free, and handled beautifully. As an anxious pet owner, I left feeling so much more at ease. Honestly, this clinic deserves way more love and recognition. They were the only ones willing to go above and beyond when I really needed help -- without pushing unnecessary costs or delays. From now on, Hope Veterinary Group will be my go-to for Simba's care.
