I called to let them know that he was sick and they may want to disinfect all the kennels a little more, not telling them they did anything wrong, just that he was sick after being there and the lady that had answered the phone kept cutting me off. "We clean the kennels all the time with bleach and blah blah blah" I finally get a word in to tell her that I am not complaining and just wanted to let them know and she says "Yep, we will keep doing what we are doing" That obviously doesn't work because he is not around any other dogs so that is the only place he could have picked it up. We won't be going back there again. And yes, my dog is up to date on ALL vaccinations so we did our part.

We boarded our two cats here from 9/10/2021 thru 9/20/2021. One of our cats escaped from its cage…read moresometime around 9/16/2021. The owner of the business didn't contact us until 9/18/2021. She put out a Have A Heart trap to try and catch our cat Buddy, before she contacted us, to no avail. We returned from our trip 9/20/2021 and went to the business to help look for Buddy. While crawling around the shop, we noticed holes in the floor that lead to a crawl space that we assume lead to the outside. Our cat is roaming around Mount Sterling somewhere. We put out flyers around the neighborhood in hopes of finding him. We have had our dogs groomed there for the past three years and she does a good job doing that. I wouldn't trust her to watch your animals. The shop is filthy, reeks of urine, there is hair everywhere and very disorganized. We discovered how filthy the place was when we were crawling around looking for our cat. Wish us luck in finding our cat!

PSA: DO NOT GO TO NORTH FORK ANIMAL CLINIC!!…read more A few months back I had my dog looked at as a new patient. Their system was down so they took all my info down and created his chart later. Also I was told that I would receive a bill in the mail. Fast forward to March, one of my neighbors walks my bill down to my house with a "FINAL NOTICE" label on it. No phone calls. No emails. They had the wrong address so the previous bills were never received and I was going to be sent to collections for a mistake I DIDN'T MAKE! When I called in and attempted to speak about it with the staff, I was met with hostility by the billing department saying "we sent the statements, so you're responsible". When I asked to speak with a manager, I was told they were busy and that owner doubled down on what I was told "it doesn't matter if you didn't receive the previous bills, you got this one so you're still responsible and the late fees will remain on your account". I wanted to give them a shot as a new vet, but never again after this experience. This all could have been avoided with a simple phone call or even an email. The only reason they get 2 stars are the clinicians, who I thought were attentive and great. Go to Tharp or Chillicothe Animal Clinic.

They saw both kitties fairly quickly. The vet was an older gentlemen with a sense of humor, he was super sweet and fairly quick too. The best part here is the price. We have tried other vets and very easily paid double or even triple the prices for basic vaccines and such. We love this place: fast, friendly and fair-priced! We will be back!
