Bought a used Prius Prime only came with one key fob. The dealer wants over $500 for the fob and key cut and programming. Fob was $65 on eBay and Paxton charged me $160 for the programming in key cut. I could have rented a programmer and had another place laser cut my key. that would have cost $120 so for the additional $40 I let this guy do it all and he's great. Requested the quote through Yelp. Jan chatted with me for about 5 minutes. I used these words that it was a hit and miss with the car starting he stated in the chat that my car wasn't working 100% and they only work on cars that are 100% in running condition. I responded to him that my car runs great it's my key that was messed up. He was rude and asked me well what does hit and miss mean to me, and to have a nice day. I had all the locks and door knobs on my home so I would be able to use one key for all and everything would be updated and secure, not course. A couple months after the doorknob to my backyard just fell off. I managed to put it back on but it fell off again. Ok, it keeps happening and it's not easy to put back and it happens when I'm in a hurry, I mean I guess there's never a good time to have your doorknob fall off... So I phoned them and explained and instead of fixing it they offered that I could fix it again MYSELF or pay $60 for them to fix what I believe is defective product. Ugh... He was able to cut & program my keys in less than 15 min, but there were some complication on the fob (no fault of his own) that I purchased via ebay. He offered that he will program another fob if I get another one FOR FREE! A few days later, I got another fob & he is true to his word! He programmed the fob in less than 5 min!
