Ok so the day before my interview I went to Eaton Center and saw all the flavour of gelato in this place, and I almost cried! "I cannot eat this! Not the day before interview." So right after my interview I ran here! The staff is very nice and let me try the flavours (the labels are all in French! But for the most part I could guess what it were!) So I tried creme brûlée which is not a tad too sweet to my likings, and pistachio. And then they were like pistachio with chocolate and cherry, or plain? The kid inside me were almost like "can I try everything?" With much self control I tried the plain one and it was awesome!!! And then I got a small scope! And the they were like you can get one more flavour! I was like "YAY! (with the victory dance in my head)". So I was like strawberries please (gelato strawberries are always good!) For mall ice cream it's pretty good. Expensive but you're getting better quality than a chain. I find their presentation excellent, it always attracts me when I walk by. You can try a couple samples before ordering but I will say all the chocolate flavours are good. Rich, thick, and flavourful. I always recommend getting the small size since it fills you up fast. That's how rich the flavours are. I've tried their soft serve too and it pales in comparison to their gelato. I like that they offer it but they really don't have to. My mom and I were shopping and wanted a little break and snack. My mom asked me if I wanted gelato and I never say no to gelato! Overall, it was good, but I've had better gelato in Ottawa. My mom got a Bambino (which is 1 scoop) on a sugar cone ($3.60 for the scoop and $1.20 for the sugar cone). She got crème brûlée. I got the Piccolo (which is 2 scoops) in a cup ($4.60). I got strawberry sorbet and pistachio. The cup comes with a triangle waffle cookie. The strawberry sorbet was full of strawberry flavour and a tiny bit tart. My mom had a taste and thought it was too sour for her liking. The pistachio was rich, but the pistachio flavour wasn't that intense. The waffle cookie was really good. It had lots of flaky layers. I had a taste of the crème brûlée, and again it was nice and rich, but lacked the flavour intensity. Service was nice. This Gelato was straight out of heaven. It's conveniently located inside the mall. We got the pistachio and cheesecake flavour. The pistachio was pretty good but the cheesecake was 'crack'. It felt like I'm eating an actual cheesecake.The more bites I took the more in love I fell with it. It was also perfectly sweet. This gelateria is part of the Eaton centre portion of underground city, which is not the easiest to find. We were in the mall connected to the building that has this place, it even has the same address, but wasn't showing up on the mall directory. I wouldn't go out of my way to find this, but I'd recommend you try it out if you're already in the area though. The small was pretty filling and standard price for gelato. The gelato comes with a small triangle shaped waffle piece which was surprisingly good. I had Hazelnut and Cooke Dough. Former was good but latter was delicious - it had little chunks of chocolate covered cookie dough, yum! My husband had coconut and cheesecake - he said the Coconut was okay, but the cheesecake is among the best he's had. There's limited seating (a couple tables on the side). read more

Because of its placement, it's hard to know where to line up so people just stand in from of the counter and the poor staff folk have to try and remember who was there first. In my case, the fellow who was working greeted me, then asked the guys ahead of me if he could serve me since they were taking their sweet time in choosing a flavor. It was a quick and painless experience. Gelato stuff: Tons of flavors ranging from chocolate to mango. I'd say they've got about 30ish to choose from. Really cool place for sorbet or gelato. We walked in front of this place and were assaulted with an array of colours. This just makes you wanna try some. A really cool thing they do is have their basics but also change their products frequently so there is always something new to try. My girlfriend and I tried the sorbet because we were looking for something refreshing. All of them really hit the spot. The grapefruit is amazing. My buddy opted for the gelato and wasn't disappointed. Many people say that it's expensive, but considering how many they put in the cup I think it's justified.
