So I went a couple times, it's a cool little vibe. It may not be my kind of vibe all the time because it is very active, but with the right crowd it's actually pretty good. Here's what I mean, it's a cowboy bar, whatever that means lol. So this spot is very vast and has a lot of different areas. So you may see a stage performance by somebody dancing on stage doing some line dances. You may see somebody riding a mechanical bull on the other side of the room. You may see the bar full of people with cowboy has. It will see a lot LOL. Thought it was cool, you have to walk up some steps which I have no idea how drunk people make it up and down LOL. But you make us the top of the steps today. Typically will check you at the top to make sure you're not bringing anything in. The barge right there, it's a very nice size bar, but if you don't want to wait at that bar or if it's too crowded, you can wait at other areas within the facility. Everybody is still very cool and friendly No matter where you go. This is in the battery so you have to pay for battery prices. So the first 2 hours are free. So just keep that in mind, if you want to stay longer, it's going to be more but you should need more than 2 hours. This kind of spot anyway but it is really a good time if you just want to colouse a little bit. Last time I was there, they did every hustle and lying dance. I'd give this place 5 stars had it not been for security, specifically the door guy. We had a conference at the Omni and on last Thursday night took a group of about 25 to PBR. The door guy said he'd hold my pocket knife until I left. Apparently he liked it and asked me what it was worth, it's a nice knife but more importantly my favorite. We drank all night, paid for VIP and bottle service. We easily spent 3k but likely more. The staff was great, bartenders were amazing and we had a great time. I saw the door guy throughout the night, until we left. I was told he left early and would be back on weekends, I asked if he left my knife and he didn't. We had to leave the next morning. Great place but too bad they employ this guy. If he decides to turn it in, I'd be happy to pay for shipping. read more

I came here with a group of friends on a Friday night to find them pretty full around 10 pm. Parking can be expensive on either the street or in the parking lot. As such, I would advise taking an Uber especially if you are a part of a larger party and can split the expenses. Drinks are reasonably price but not very strong as it looks as though they use less than a shot for each. They also walk around offering these brown colored mixed shots for $5 which I did not try but heard they were also weak. Bull riding was so much fun and is free! A variety of music was played and had a decent sized dance floor. There's a few TVs for those who want to watch sports games while there as well. Staff were nice but as expected, the crowd does get more rowdy the later in the night you stay. Police showed up around 12:30 am to keep an eye on everyone in which they LIFTED one girl out of the establishment. Overall, it was a decent time but I am not sure if I would come back. read more

From beer to boogying all the way to bull riding...those three things describe the essence of what PBR Bar is! PBR Bar is located just outside of the gates to Truist Park and sits on the second level above The Tavern and Yard House. For easier reference, just look for the large screened floating baseball...once you found that, you have found PBR Bar! While it sits separate and has it's own entrance, PBR Bar is part of the Live! complex, so during certain times you can travel to and from Sports and Social and PBR with no issues. All things considered, PBR Bar is a country bar in the middle of the city. It is known for cold beer, dance floors and most importantly the bull. The space features two main bars, one inside and one outside, a dance floor, seating throughout, a DJ booth and the mechanical bull, which takes front and center! One good thing about PBR Bar is it is one of the only places that stays open late at the Battery. That being said, be prepared to wait during the peak nighttime hours. You will have to wait to get in and if you want to ride the bull, you will have to wait for that too. Overall, I have been to the PBR Bar a few times and while it is not fully my scene as someone in their mid-30's, it is a good time. It does get extra crowded which makes things a little less fun, but again that is expected at a place like this. Additionally, service has never been stellar. The door folks, bartenders and servers always have an attitude and are never really friendly or helpful. I am sure I would feel the same if I had to deal with droves of drunk folks, but still...Again, decent spot in a stellar location! read more

I forgot to provide a review from my experience at PBR last Saturday! I had such a great time I wasn't sure if I would enjoy a country music club BUT to my surprise I really enjoyed the music! My daughter and two friends went to the Braves game at the Battery last night . After enjoying the game they decided to go to the PBR bar . They were separated and looking for the third friend when house security and police descended on them alleging "eye witnesses saw them break a TV". My daughter and her friend maintained they did not go near or touch any of the TVs but the "security " continued to berate them . My daughter offered to pay for the TV but PBR staff and police said we are throwing you out and you are banned from PBR for ever . If you set foot in here again you will be arrested . They followed them out . Meanwhile ,the third friend who had been separated was confronted by security based on the third party eye witness allegations. One of the PBR team put him in a choke hold around the neck and threw him out . My daughter is 4"11" and weighs less than 100 lbs . Her friend is only slightly larger . This extreme , unfounded , inappropriate , unprofessional and illegal behavior from staff and the police working for the PBR bar at the Battery will not be tolerated . My advise to anyone going to the battery - STAY AWAY FROM PBR BAR . You will not be safe there . read more

One negative review won't keep people from going to a business, but my past few experiences were very negative, so I will not go back here. We used to enjoy meeting up at PBR to relax and dance, since it was halfway for all of us. Most of the staff were friendly the times I have been there. The security was by far the most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with. They were very disrespectful, Slack in particular. It was kind of scary that someone like that is working in security. I will say, one man was kind and said they have always had issues with Slack, but it doesn't change things because he is still there. I love the battery, but will not be back to PBR bar. read more

Bartenders are awfully rude and treat you like you don't belong. No crowd control or capacity limit. Bathrooms are pow quality. Drinks are ridiculously expensive. THE MAIN ISSUE IS THE DJ. Dude has no taste and zero dj capability. Hes terrible at his job and ruins the night nearly every chance he gets. Dude wouldn't know good music if it hit him in the face with a 8 punch combo. I hope they hire a real dj or give the aux to a deaf old person. This bar has one thing going for it and its the fact they have a mechanical bull. I went to PBR as the first stop on my bday bar hop. The bar was pretty dope though itself, I would go back to watch the fight. The Food was awful and cold even after the long wait. The service was super slow. The security was so helpful by the end of the night because I was a mess. Been here a couple of times, always on a weeknight and it is not that crowded. There is of course, a mechanical bull that takes center stage. It is complimentary to ride and draws quite a crowd, but the line is not that long on weekdays. Next to the bull is where the DJ resides, thumping out everything from the latest Top 40 to country. That brings me to the dancing, which also varies. I have seen folks doing line dancing, and bumping and grinding. All the while, there is a VIP section and two main bars, both with many TVs playing sports. This place does it all, but nothing too well. My experience at PBR ATLANTA was so horrible.... so last night April 30 2022 at this establishment me my husband & my friends came here to celebrate my friends birthday when we first arrived everyday great we was having a good time but once we went to the bar to get drinks everything went down hill from there ....my friends ordered drinks & their bartender was so nice but when me and my husband ordered we had a different bartender & she was so rude.. when I asked her to come help us she came over with an attitude with a mean mug on her face we placed our order she came with our drinks and throw them on the container really hard and some spilled out i didn't pay it any mind so I paid then my husband wanted an extra shot so he asked her could he order another shot (I believe her name is Alyssa ) this bartender yells at him saying "YOU DIDN'T GIVE ME A TIP SO I'M NOT HELPING YOU!" snatching the receipt and walking away.... My husband didn't order the drinks I did so him ordering a shot he was goin to tip her with cash since I paid with card but she was so rude she didn't even give us time to give her one( and we don't have to tip u this is your job to bartend) so my friend asked another bartender to help us and she told her that bartender was so rude to my friends can u help us & once she said that the Bartender came over yelling so loud at my friend putting her fingers in her face & then hit her she ran off after hitting my friend and then next thing you know we got kicked out for nothing..the police didn't ask us any questions they just came over & said yall have to go (it was 6 of us)... we were Racial Profiling by this bartender she was very aggressive with us from the beginning & we did nothing wrong to her all my husband did was ask her for another shot... This place is super fun! You can find it at The Battery in Marietta. There are parking garages located around the area so there will always be room for parking. They also have many other places to go and choose from in there. PBR is located at the top of many stairs under the giant glowing sign. It has so many games to choose from and several different bars inside. You can play a larger version of jenga or connect four in one area where the bookcases are located. In an adjoining room, there is another bar and beer pong tables, sleep ball, shuffleboard, and foosball. There is a downstairs with a giant screen and other TVs so you can sit and watch and it seems there is a restaurant down there too. They also have a mechanical bull inside! It was pretty dark and crowded in there so I only passed by but bull riding looked really fun! On the outside, there is also another bar and trash can beer pong and corn hole Drinks are okay. Kind of expensive and not that strong. It was my first time going and I will probably be back to play some trash can beer pong! read more

Still an awesome DJ, bartenders and waitresses however Managent was a big disappointment (especially Ashley) in her handling of the busy situation including her rudeness to customers. THe man in charge of the mechanical bull tonight (July 7th) would give the men a proper ride and throw them off but move the bull in a way that would make the women thrust and then tilt them upside down while he shook it so that their shaking asses were right in his view. When I approached him about it and told him I didn't appreciate that he just used me for a stripper show he told the bouncer I harassed him and I got kicked out. After I got kicked out many women approached me to let me know that they saw what happened and thought it was very messed up. PBR is on the top of the Battery (the restaurants, bars, and hotels around SunTrust Park - the new Braves stadium). If you haven't been over to that part of town, you should check it out! Free parking is a little restricted, but you can park in a few of the lots for free for up to 4 hours. When we got there, the inside was closed down for a private event, but the outdoor bar was open. It was actually a fun spot to watch some of the March Madness games. The beer selection outside was severely limited, which was unfortunate -- they only had a few beers on tap. Service is really slow too. At one point, they play this song and have the waitresses dance on the bar tops; it was uncomfortable, even for my guy friends. The best part is the mechanical bull. I didn't get a chance to ride, but it looked like a blast. The bull whips around after ~8 seconds, so if you're in line to ride, it keeps it moving. I would go back to try this out. Overall, parts of this place allow for a fun night out, but I'm not rushing back. read more

The bartenders were quick and efficient, the drinks tasted great and were reasonably priced. There wasn't many specials or chaser options (no lemonade or ginger beer) There was plenty of seating outside with great views to all of the Battery. Parking is a little tight, especially when a game/event is taking place in the stadium. The garages offer free parking for the first two hours, which is great if you can get a spot. read more
