We contacted Computer CPR to diagnose issues with a dell computer purchased feb 2017. They came to house and after about 15 said the hard drive had failed. Charge $159. They said it needed to go to shop and we agreed while providing all documentation on purchase of dell including warranty. They called to confirm hard drive was bad and recommended we replace it with solid state drive. ( no mention was made about capacity of new drive 120gb vice 1tb original). They next charged an additional $249 labor to replace harddrive and $159 for new hard drive. My issues are 1. They should have told us that as it was still under warranty dell could fix it. 2. They should have asked if downgrading the harddrive from 1Tb to 120Gb was acceptable. 3. There rates for fixing after the original diagnosis were extremely high as no credit was given for initial diagnosis. I would not recommend them to anyone. Their lack of candor is really upsetting. read more

I am so pleased and happy with Computer CPR, my keyboard and mouse on my Macbook Pro have not been working and this company fixed the problem immediately! The best part was that I took it directly to the apple store just before calling them, where I was quoted a price $350 above what I paid at Computer CPR, also my computer was done in half the amount of time that Apple had said it was going to take. I would HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone needing Macbook troubles before going to apple for the most timely and cost effective fix! Horrible service!!! I thought because of the reviews it would be good. After the personal experience of getting a quote and then the actual price of it not fitting the quote you'd think I'd be able to get my 80 dollars back (Was not informed it was non refundable and was not given a form that informed me of this). I get that's the price for the diagnostic but other places would refund the money if the actual price was way more than the customer thought going into it. That deposit was supposed to go towards getting it fixed so I don't understand why they kept it when I already knew what was wrong with it from other technicians looking at it (which I was not charged for). Not to mention a friend of mine shared to me they had fixed their computer there and they ended up making their computer run slower than it was originally running. Avoid this place at all costs!!! They're just a money hungry business and don't care about the customers satisfaction at all. If I could give it less than one star I would. read more
