It wasn't difficult to find however, because there was a sign in front for CareTech and the building itself had signs with all the store names as well. I went around 5:00pm on Saturday and it was easy to find street parking although I'm not quite sure about the other days. It looks like they may have a back parking area as well. I messaged CareTech beforehand, asking if they can fix my broken laptop and they were really quick to respond! I accidentally spilled water over it back in August and fried my MacBook Pro. It seems my Logic Board is damaged and most likely my keyboard too (it's difficult to tell if the keyboard is damaged or not unless it's turned on but that's where I spilled water so... it's most likely done for). It seems like it really depends on the model to accurately quote replacement parts and sadly, Apple parts are crazy expensive. I got price quotes from several different places so I'm certain they're not overpricing me. Also, after talking to them, I don't think they're the types of people that would! For my case, data retrieval would have been $70/hour which is cheaper than most places I inquired! It seems it really depends on if/how much the hard drive was damaged and how hard it is to retrieve the data (internally). When I walked in, Charlie greeted me very warmly and he even remembered my name and situation from messaging me! There was one other person there at the time and they were both really friendly and helped me open up the laptop and take out my SSD. They talked me through different options and it seemed like they were genuinely interested in helping me diagnose the problem more than just making quick cash. Overall, from what I found, this place had really great pricing and awesome service. :)

Peter was able to come over with very short notice when I was available, my old one died my new one arrived and I had to go out of town. I asked what he suggested, advising I wanted to transfer what was on the broken one over. Rather than come to see the broken one and then come back he said it would be better value to be there when all arrived, if that was acceptable. He arrived on time and prepared after a brief exchange of what my concerns were. He reviewed my systems and gave some suggestions, explained some new tech things I wasn't aware of was very generous about is time and his expertise. His rates are extremely reasonable, if you don't think so shop around you will see. Peter didn't try to sell me anything or talk over my head, he was clear, kind and extremely knowledgeable. Peter is not out to bilk you he is out to take care of you as an ongoing customer. I can tell you that I have a few pc's and gadgets and I will from know on use Peter exclusively for our home. I suggest that if you have any issues give him a call. He will come to you and let you know what can be done and even surpass what you expected. I needed to transfer a lap tops info that had died to a new one, he not only was able to do that but figured out that my old lap top was in deed fixable, he gave me two laptops for the price of time I expected only one it. He also never mentioned anything about price at the drop off and said he would let us know when it was (or wasn't) fixed. After months of hearing nothing, she reached out and he said he couldn't find the parts but that he would be happy to "recycle" it for us. This item goes for $500, even in a nonworking condition, so we made it clear we would be picking it up. Once again, ZERO talk of price. She goes to pick it up, he says he's requiring $90 cash because he suddenly was able to fix something in it, just not enough to actually have it work. (NEVER any mention of this) Once again, she is very uncomfortable, especially after the previous experience, so we just give him the money so we can leave. But not before he makes an extremely rude comment to me about my looks and again reminding us how valuable our item is. (Funny how he wanted to "recycle it") All in all, this man was extremely unprofessional and made countless extremely inappropriate comments.
