I've an older gaming rig that I wanted repaired. I've upgraded it over the years (it's a 4ghz system) so it's stayed current and is well maintained by professionals. The Gold Power Supply went bad and they replaced it - and found 2 of the cooling fans were down so replaced those as well. Excellent timely service, the unit was returned cleaned inside and out, case tightened and everything set straight. Fast service, great price, no superfluous bench fees, was given solution to retrieve my date off my HD, external USB HD cable. And most important not sold a fiction about the HD cable being bad. $75.00 MAC Book Pro. pre pandemic I was told by SIMPLY MAC in Portland, I needed a new HD cable but it was too old and could not be fixed. I was some what confused, for Simply Mac replace my HD, with a new 1TB SS HD and cable in 2018. They also replaced my touch pad and battery in 2017. Now January 2022 post pandemic, I took this Information to FixOID in Vancouver. They insisted no charging me $249 just to look at it. Rip off all I need was for them to find and replace the HD cable. such a rip off. Down the street from FixOID, is PC Rescue Wiz. explained what I thought I needed. I came back a little later that day. Tips, the owner explained that the connection on the motherboard where the HD cable plugs in, was broken, that the cable could be fine and what I need is a new motherboard. This explanation lines up with why Simply Mac of Portland, created a fiction the HD cable was too old and not availablel, unfixable.. Even though the 1TB SS HD and cable, was a little more than two years old at the time which they replaced, Simply MAC Beaverton, because, they broke the motherboard where the HD cable connects. read more

He is trying very hard to develop his business mainly because that's the way he thinks and Mrs Taps has a cute baby girl in her tummy As consumers we need to support this business. I was not taken advantage of in anyway.. I will return for future repairs if needed..his fee was very competitive. After spending 5+ hours trying to pretend to be a computer expert, I finally decided to admit the obvious and take my computer in for repairs. I was 99% sure it had malware as it was running extremely slow and recently refused to connect to the internet. I was able to find PC Rescue Wiz via their website and called to schedule an appointment. I dropped off my computer and Taps (owner) had it fixed and ready for me within 5 hours of my first phone call. Extremely fast repair and my computer actually connects to the internet now. Taps also downloaded free virus removal software for me and walked me through how to use it (my computer had 6 viruses). Along with this he gave some very good tips on computer care and cleaned out my computer's fan. Very fast, very professional, and a very happy customer. Wow! I could not be more impressed. After spending most of the night trying to get my dead computer to come to life, I fortunately found Tapps He not only was able to fix my old computer that only had a black screen and Windows wouldn't open at all, but he transferred all the data to my new computer. The new computer with Windows 8.1 had its own issues which he fixed and also installed a program, so my computer functions similar to Windows 7, meaning I might not throw it out the window. How come it's only after the hard drive failure that you think about backing up your data? When my laptop wouldn't boot up and I was lamenting the fact that I hadn't backed up my data in months, I started looking for a computer repair shop that could provide data recovery service. When I saw the ad for PC Rescue Wiz and read that they specialized in recovering data, I decide to give them try. I'm glad I did. The owner was very knowledgeable and helped me understand what my options were for recovering the data. Took my laptop in after it started to run slow and not take any windows updates. turns out my computer had gotten a pretty nasty virus. Tap was able to clean my laptop up and get it running smooth again. While he had it he also swapped out my old disc hard drives for 2 new Samsung EVO SSD's that I supplied.
