Great service, I called about an adapter that I thought I needed, because I have an older psu which didnt have the direct fit for my new mother board. The guy I talked to on the phone said I could plug in the 4 pin without an adapter. I did so and now was able to get power to the CPU! If they can help me over the phone like this with my simple question, I can only imagine how good they must be with real computer issues. I am so happy to find a service here in Green Valley that is knowledgeable, reliable, responsive, and reasonably priced! I had a complicated issue. I had worked with my internet provider for hours and then days to resolve. They couldn't figure it out. Each time I turned on my laptop and logged onto my home network, all my devices were kicked off the internet. I scheduled with Best Buy to have my laptop serviced, but I couldn't get in for days and I recalled waiting in line for hours the last time we were there for Cell Phone service. Then it occurred to me to look for a PC repair closer to home. They took my PC, cleaned it, updated it, scanned for viruses, and returned it the next day. It's all working beautifully! This is the best place in to to have all your computer issues resolved. We had a laptop with a cracked screen and they were able to take it and order a replacement screen and rin a diagnostic to make sure all was okay. I wasn't planning to write a review, even after two bad experiences, however, after the rude and disrespectful way they handled their mistakes, I decided I should. I brought my computer in to have the battery checked. I was told by the counter staff that they would check the power source and the battery to make sure the battery was the problem. When I did not hear back, I phoned. They guy who answered the phone was clueless. He asked me if my name was (fill in the blank) which was a man's name (I am clearly a woman). It was obvious by his reaction that he had not looked at my computer. I told him I needed the computer for an out-of-town business trip and could he please rush the battery. I received a call the day before I was to leave. I was charged an additional $15 for over night shipping. No problem...I expected that. 2000 miles away, I turn on my computer, only to receive a message that the battery was no good. I called and was told, oops, I guess we didn't put it in....we were wondering whose battery this was. When I got back to town and stopped to pick up the battery, the counter girl was snide and rude. I told her that my two experiences were both bad to which she responded, "have a nice day." She didn't even offer to put the battery in...just handed me the box. I told her I wouldn't be bringing my business there and she responded by opening the door to show me out. Had I felt she was sincere in her apology, I might have felt differently. read more

Subject: Encounter at P C Solutions I delivered on July 27th my computer as it was not loading Windows. When I brought the computer home and reattached the power cord, I placed the USB plugs in the respective outlet. Prior to removing the computer to PC Solutions, I color-coded with small sticky tabs the plugs so everything would be placed in the same position and manner as it was taken apart. When I brought the computer home, everything was put into its proper place when I discovered one of the USB female ports was bent down not allowing the USB plug to fit. I did not force the plug, knowing personally for over 35 years working on computers; you never force anything. This plug was bent when I brought it home from their shop. I immediately called to let the woman, who was some sort of secretary, of my situation. She told me to bring the computer back. Later that afternoon, approximately 3:15 PM, I brought the computer into the shop and was immediately confronted by a loud, belligerent woman who instantly, without any provocation by myself, telling me that I broke the plug and it was not the that way until I brought it home. The secretary kept asking where the input was bent. The mouse and keyboard did not directly use the USB port on the computer, but is connected to a four station port that had my keyboard and mouse attached. I explained to her it was a USB plug fit problem, not a keyboard or mouse problem per se, but the male USB plug, any male USB plug could be used because it would show the male USB plug. So I saw no point to bring the keyboard and mouse. I mentioned previously the plugs were color coded to avoided these situations. No USB memory stick or USB type male end plug would fit the damaged female plug. She immediately went into a further tirade calling both my wife and I names, calling me a cripple and I needed to get some teeth. I had surgery at the dentist that morning, I told her, and my retainer was being repaired. I also could not walk due to a hemipelvectomy. This woman would not stop yelling at my wife and me using both insulting words, calling my wife ugly, among other very derogatory statements and hand gestures, and again blaming us for the damage. This seemed to be a well-rehearsed approach by her to blame the customer. The secretary started to approach my wife in an aggressive manner giving me a perception she was going to attack her but was restrained by a male employee. As I mentioned earlier, I have many years working on and with computers and I knew from this experience I was getting scammed. This diatribe from her did not cease, we had no recourse but to defend ourselves, also verbally. In all our years we have never seen a shop owner use such words to their customers. Then she started to chastise us because her young son was present, but the language from this woman's mouth was much more detrimental to the child than even we could endure. While all this was going on her husband, I assume, was working on the computer and had it fixed in a little over three minutes. He was professional and did his work without provocation. If you think this shop is a one stop fix-it-all service, then bully for you. Our mistake was saying their work was poor. Shame on us. read more
