I don't paint around them, I remove them. That gave e the opportunity to look in my wall cavities. There is no evidence of any foam being injected. I have looked in a few places with the same result. At first I thought maybe it was just one spot, or the foam settled. Nope. In multiple places it's the same. There isn't a shred of foam residue, or remnants at all. I see Retro foam of southwest Wisconsin is out of business. Big suprise if that's the way they did business. The thing is, I paid a lot of money to have this done, and now have no recourse. It would be one thing if the foam was installed and didn't work, but that didn't even happen. I did contact Retro foam corporate but they told me the installers are independent contractor, so too bad for you. The worst part is the feeling foolish for being taken..

We called Modern Exterior to see if they could not only fix it but fix it quickly as another storm was predicted that could have taken the entire gutter down. They sent someone out that day to reattach the gutter to the house. The next day they came back and painted and replaced the rotted facia board and then reattached the gutter. I needed a very small siding repair. I was NOT interested in a two step process with an estimate…read morefrom a salseperson followed by a visit from the actual workers. I made that very clear to the scheduler. The scheduler confirmed that that could be done. I subsequently received an email confirming the appointment. I replied, repeating my insistence that I simply wanted the repair made in a single visit without a separate visit from an estimator. Sure enough, an estimator arrived 20 minutes late without any equipment. He was downright rude when I complained, saying "no one does business that way." I told him that Guardian was put on notice at least twice that I was not interested in a two step process. I would not have bothered taking time off from work had they simply told me they required a two step process. At my request, the manager called me, and I explained the situation. She was pleasant on the phone and said that she would she she could find someone in the organization to address the issue. I forwarded the earlier email for her records. She promptly acknowledged receipt. That was all two weeks ago. I never heard from her again. She did not respond to three follow-up emails of increasing urgency. The repair still have not been made, and I am back to square one. I DID receive a robotext asking me to rate my experience. (eyeroll). Stay away from these people. They are arrogant and beyond worthless unless you have a major project, and even then you have to worry about how they respond to a problem. Dear Guardian: am sorry I am not worth your precious time. It will not happen again.

Have had a LOT of communication with Guardian over the past few years. They did a sealant on our…read moreroof, but due to the age of the roof that plan did not hold up - they did explain to us that we really should have a new roof, which we agreed with and they subsequently gave us a credit off of the original quote. Workers were very diligent and hard-working. The project managers had to deal with extra problems that were uncovered when the old roof was taken off - many layers and uneven spots, for which we did pay extra. Our problem is with the follow up. While our manager/site boss - not exactly sure what his title is -was communicative during the process and did come back to follow up with some debris that was left in the gutter, etc. we told him that our large front bush got damaged. He assured us that they have a company that they work with, and that he would have them get in touch with us. That was three months ago, and I have sent him five texts, none of which were answered. While the roof itself seems fine, the lack of follow-up communication does not bode well for potential future problems.
