We had to have a bathroom redone for a second time and we called Kowalske in Delafield this time. Staci came out and looked at everything and asked questions about how it was done and if we wanted to maybe make changes. She redesigned the entire bathroom and it actually works out better for us. We needed a handicapped accessible bathroom and she was very conscious of making sure we were comfortable with every decision and action from beginning to end. Then we met with Eric, Brittany and Staci to go over everything from beginning to end. They all walked us through everything and how we could track daily updates. Through the process, they communicated constantly to make sure things were going good. Martin was also incredible every time he was here. He was also very conscious to make sure I was comfortable throughout the whole process. We couldn't have asked for 4 better people to work with. If we ever decide to update our Kitchen, I hope we get the same 4 people. I would highly recommend Kowalske and their team. read more

Kim worked with us in the showroom to create images of our desired outcome and then brought samples together to share with us so we could truly handpick the most unique options to make our vision come true. Once construction began, we communicated with Kim, Aaron and the rest of the crew via an app that gave us daily updates of what work would be done and names of crew members that would be on site that day. We recently completed a kitchen remodel with Kowalske Kitchen and Bath, and could not be more pleased with the entire process as well as the final outcome. From the first meeting with our designer, daily interactions with the skilled workers, and of course the final results; we knew we were working with the best. Every individual we interacted with was professional, friendly, on time, and clearly amazingly skilled in what they did. We had workers in our home on a daily basis for roughy 7 weeks, it was as if they became a part of the family! Kowalske Kitchen and Baths remodeled our Kitchen, and my wife and I couldn't be more pleased. Everything about the process was first-rate. Remodeling projects can test a person's patience; we know because we've done other projects with other remodelers. That was not the case with this project because Kowalske's processes ensure the client is kept apprised of developments, and everyone on the team seems to pride themselves on communication. We worked with a top-notch designer who could tease out from us what we wanted in a kitchen. But I think that is a trait of all their designers. Once completed with the design, Kowalske established a bill of materials and budget which meant no dollar surprises. The project came in on budget. The project would have finished on time, but Covid and supply chain issues interrupted work. The most significant problem was a delay in installing our backsplash tile. Since that was cosmetic, it wasn't really an issue. The best thing I can say about Kowalske Kitchen and Bath is that when done, I told the entire team we are referenceable, and they can be assured our comments are all positive. WHAT A JOB! We went from a small mid 60's kitchen to a beautiful open concept with plenty of room and lighting. Two walls were taken out and a new header had to be engineered for the expanse. Hydronic heat had to be relocated. New floors in kitchen, living room and hallways. We still lived there while all this went on. Kowalske made all this possible. As for the living conditions, it was not fun. Kowalske made it possible though. They screened off the living areas with plastic curtains to keep the construction dust out as much as possible. The other big thing was they cleaned up the area after each days work. At the end of the project Kowalske sent in a person to clean the house. The people Kowalske had working on our house were skilled, friendly and helpful. When some thing didn't look right they would say something and offer a suggestion rather than just pushing through it. Lots of hand holding since this was our first major remodel. Were there problems? Yes, I don't think any project like this is without problems. Short a cabinet in delivery. Wrong color trim. Through it all Kowalske worked with us and their vendors to make everything right. I should mention the pre-remodel people. Very helpful in educating us and helping to pick out materials. Did we like the final product? Yes we do, it is everything we wanted. We wouldn't think twice about going to Kowalske for another project. Oh, cost. I think they charged a fair price for the work they did. We had an incredible experience with Kowalske Kitchen & Bath. We originally purchased a home in Delafield in the summer knowing that the house could use a lot of love. After originally reaching out to Matt and meeting Christina and Cindy we had plans to renovate every room on the main floor and second floor. By the fall they were knocking down walls and we moved in at the end of the year. It's hard to describe the scope of the project because they really did touch every room in the house. Their design choices were thoughtful, the work they did was professional, and working with them was a great. People talk about how stressful a home renovation is and I could see how a project of our scope could cause us to lose some hair but the crew never let that happen. We love our house, every day we come home it feels like we're on vacation or living in a dream house. The transformation from what it was to what it is makes it seem like they built an entirely new house from the ground up. If you are thinking about doing any sort of home renovation project you really need to talk to Kowalske. We did our due diligence on the front end and looked at plenty of options and wound up with the best one available. We have so many great stories from the renovation but one that sticks out, that was relatively minor in the scope of everything, that speaks to the type of company Kowalske is goes like this: we moved in December 22nd, planned on showing our families the house on the 24th, and the one snag was our appliance crew didn't install the fridge or the washer/dryer. Small problem, but something that kind of stuck out as incomplete. The appliance company blew their deadline and was going to leave us in a lurch, so we called Matt who personally got on the phone with them and after not getting anywhere personally came out to our house on December 23rd and with our PM moved the fridge into our house, hooked up the water line and installed the washer and dryer. Kowalske's did a total renovation of our master bathroom, to include removing a sliding glass door, all new fixtures, renovating a walk-in closet, etc. The team was incredibly accommodating from the outset. Our designer, Cindy, was super-responsive, as was our project manager Byron. The outcome is outstanding, and the process was not at all disruptive to our daily lives. All of the men who came to work on the project were polite and approachable, and quick to respond to our requests. They even cleaned up after themselves every day! We have been enjoying the fruits of all their labor for about a month, and couldn't be happier. Our new bathroom is a remarkable improvement over our former bathroom (which is a good thing)! The team finished on schedule, and kept us updated as to what time they would be arriving each day. There were no unpleasant surprises. We love the quartz countertops, the tile floor, the tile backsplash, and the French doors, all of which Cindy played a major role in helping us to choose. Her taste and artistry were apparent from the get-go, and she both gave us her opinion and listened to our preferences. Byron, too was very sensitive to our needs, while carefully considering the practicalities of plumbing, electrical, and so forth. The entire team helped make our dream bathroom a reality. Overall, I would recommend Kowalske Kitchen and Bath to anyone who would like to make their vision of an ideal bathroom a reality. read more
