We had had…read morethe pool replastered 5 years ago and that job had begun failing within the first couple of years. We'd taken the low bid back then. This time we took the high bid--and are glad we did. The previous job had left out the essential step of the Bond Coat to glue the new surface to the old. This time Tri-County chipped out all the previous plaster, sprayed a thick layer of bond coat, and then resurfaced it with a beautiful layer of Arctic White PebbleSheen. We were VERY IMPRESSED with how thoroughly the job was done. Much more work went into it than the job 5 years ago. From start to finish, the work crews were thorough, careful and cleaned up after themselves. And the pool looks better than ever. I recommend Tri-County Pools. Let me add that there'd been a misunderstanding on my part of one of the costs; Steve responded promptly and we amicably negotiated a resolution. I was impressed.

We had a valve issue they said they'd resolve; after a month of no repair + continued disputes on the original bill, we were told to go to a plumber for the valve issue and an email that we didn't "fit with their customer profile." Hugely unprofessional and disorganized company, from other reviews it seems that instead of resolving issues they fire clients. Unfortunate as Max seemed very knowledgeable but would not recommend the hassle and lack of adequate service.

He did send an inexperienced technician out on one instance. The tech replaced the low voltage box which I had previously purchased and then proceeded to tell me that my light was bad and I needed a new one. Max's office sent me a quote for $2100 to replace the light and a bill for $389.70 for the technicians visit. I did a little research and testing myself and replaced the light motor inside the light for $300. Clearly I didn't need an entire new light. I was then told by Max's office that I couldn't get back on his schedule for 2 weeks to look at my other light that was supposed to be dealt with when the inexperienced tech showed up. Well, two weeks later, Max didn't show up again..... Schedule at your own risk. If you do schedule, be prepared to be disappointed!

They built our pool about five years ago, and it was…read moredragged out by months because of poor staffing/sub-contracting and poor prioritizing of multiple jobs. They had horrible communication, almost never giving us updates on when people would or would not come. Now, four years later, our hot tub is broke. They came out last year to supposedly "fix" it but it broke again this year. I called to have them fix it again and no one showed up for the appointment to look at the problem. I emailed them several days later and apparently their staff just let themselves into our backyard without telling us to diagnose the problem. We had them order a part and schedule us to fix it in two weeks. No one came to the appointment (again). No one bothered to notify us that the appointment would be missed or to reschedule. I had to email them about 4 days later to see what happened. Then they reschedule us again for a week later. Again, nobody shows up and no communication. My wife and I took turns to wait at home both days. Nobody came. I emailed them about 5 days later to complain and say I would never use their company again. And a note on their "communication:" No greetings in emails, no names or company info or phone numbers at the bottom, you don't know who you are talking to, and no complete sentences or professional formatting. This company simply does not care about customers or communicating with customers in a professional way.
