These guys almost killed my Great Pyrenees due to their negligence to clean up pool shock. They left a pile of next to my pool. Luckily I caught it in time.. but if you love you dogs I would most CERTAINLY NOT HIRE them! I am completely astonished at this. I've tried calling them tge past frw days and no answer. They also knew I have dogs because I told them when I first hired them. I cannot believe how extremely UNPROFESSIONAL they are to just leave a pile of shock sitting on the ground and not even attempt to clean it up. DO NOT HIRE THESE GUYS!!!! I have had the unfortunate pleasure of hiring (John) from this company and he do not know what the hell he is doing. When he changed the filter cartridge system on my pool, he forgot to install the drainage valve. Recently, I just found out (after 2 yrs) that when he did change my system that he installed the whole damn thing backwards. My newly hired pool guy was the one who told me and I could not believe this. I contacted John and told him of this situation. Instead of him being the professional I thought he was he asked me to go half on the compensation. Why should I pay half for something he screwed up. Long story short, if you want the job done right the first time DO NOT HIRE THESE GUYS!!!! I called these guys a few weeks ago and John told me I'd have to be put on a waiting list because he was so busy and he's 10 days out. I said okay because they're the first people to answer their phone around here and I needed my pool ready by the time our family came into town in June. Well weeks later, I call to ask if my turn is coming up and he told me "Oh yeah, I came by and decided I wasn't going to do your pool. Sorry I didn't call." Our family relocated to Killeen in November of 2016. My husband arrived first to find the pool a complete mess. He found J & J Pool and they came and worked their magic! I have had my pool for 12 years. I have had many different service companies "help" with problems. I have to say, I trust the advise given to me by J & J pools. The price is VERY reasonable. He charges what he charges for the service provided and doesn't come at you with $$ in his eyes. I trust what he tells me needs to be done, even if it means draining the pool and starting again. I have HORRIBLE water as I am in an ETJ zone and trust me it has done major damage to my system, same as the Oklahoma red river rock around pool. John R. gets things fixed at minimal cost. They got rid of the fungus and came out every week for 3 months to clean and make sure it didn't come back.
