I live in an area where they only have Xfinity and that is why I use them! I am strongly considering moving just to not have this service. Customer service is okay to say the least. They have an automated system that you can barely get ahold of anyone. When you opt out of receiving text messages they still send them. When I first signed up they had me pick the box up but my internet did not work so they sent out a technician. Come to find out the store actually gave me the wrong box. Later on I see they charged me $100 service fee for the technician coming out to replace the incorrect box. They have multiple internet outages and there is nothing you can do about it but wait. So, good luck if you work from home! My internet would not work properly for almost a week I called in every day! They finally sent someone out to "resolve the issue" and as soon as he left it was the same issue. So they sent a senior tech the very next day. Come to find out cords and the box needed to be replaced after only have it for 5 months! Of course they charged $100 to my account.

She was nice but clearly didn't know what she was doing. Was fooling around with my phone, making comments like "this is really scratched up" "this is really cracked on the back" she managed to finally figure it out but the screen is completely off center and has bubbles and fingerprints from her touching it. I then asked if I could look at an upgrade as I'm due for one in about a month and she proceeds to tell me they can't help me and I need to go through the app. Completely unprofessional young lady, she should be trained first before working on floor, now I'm on the way to another T mobile to fix the issues she made.

We had our yard aerated last fall and the line was cut…read more A new line had to be ran, however, CC uses a contractor to do the actual burying of the line so they were not able to bury it same day. It has been over 8 months! The line is still exposed despite calling numerous times (at least 3 times a month). Mowing the yard is a pain! I am about to cancel service. I should not have to pay until this line is buried and buried well! This is terrible customer service even if this is something that is being outsourced to a third party! Hire a better contractor!

We received a letter with approximately 56 days to find new service for our entire company as they were discontinuing our service. CC does not want to spend any funds to update their infrastructure in our area. They then raised our final billing 3x the previous rate. Had to pay the increase to Port our current numbers to our next carrier. Talk about kicking you as you go out the door. What a horrible company. They do not care about their customers at all. Run away from Consolidated Communications!!! I would rate it less than 1 Star if possible.
