I absolutely Love PDS Medical Group Henderson!! I started going at the begining of this year with some major issues that Henderson Hospital was unable to help at all. Christine was amazing and went above and beyond to first of all get me out of excrusiating pain and then address everything involved until she found a solution. My wife and I are both treated like family by everyone at PDS Medical Group and we highly reccomend them for all your medical needs. I just had the worst experience at the Henderson location. I had a simple appointment to go over my lab results with my primary care provider Christine V. The previous time I did this, I was able to go during my lunch break. Here's what happened this time. First I got an email from PDS Medical on 12/24/25 reminding me I have an appointment on January 7th, 2026. I confirmed the appointment. Then I get an email on 12/30/25 reminding me I have an appointment and letting me know that I can save time by using e check-in. Done. I checked in using the online portal. Finally. I got a text message the morning of my appointment on Jan 7th again reminding me I have an appointment. Confirmed! My appointment was at 1:30pm, so I took a lunch break from 1:00pm-2:00pm. I showed up at 1:15pm. Checked in at the front desk. The receptionist, a very nice lady named Esmeralda charged me my $70 copayment. She emailed me my receipt. Receipt received in my email at 1:17pm. I waited in the lobby patiently. I was then called in at my appointment time exactly at 1:30pm. The assistant took my blood pressure & weight, then escorted me to the waiting room at 1:35. I sat in the waiting room until 2:00pm! Christine V. never showed up! I heard her walk into a room of a patient that showed up after me at 1:58pm! There was no communication from the staff letting me know they were short staffed. Nor was there any communication for warning me that the wait would be longer than expected. I left as soon as my lunch break ended 2pm (and returned to work late). I did let the nice receptionist know that no one ever came in the room to see me. She could tell I was upset when I walked out. Do you think anyone called me to apologize? No! Not during the drive home, nor during the remainder of the afternoon or evening! The next day I got a message from the MyChart portal letting me know my prescription refill was denied. The portion I paid for my blood work on 12/24, and the $70 copay for the office was a waste of money! read more

Horrible! Avoid coming here if you can. I had an appointment scheduled at the Sahara office because of the convenience of being 5 minutes from my home. I tried to reach their office before my appointment due to a miss call and no one could tell me the reason why they initially called. I arrived at the original location only to be told that my nurse practitioner changed locations and that my appointment was moved to Henderson. They decided to change my appointment last minute to this office which is not what I agreed on. The appointment was made to discuss my blood results/ count as a physical but since they could not communicate the location change in a timely manner this appointment was "cancelled". Due to the inconvenience they decided to continue my appointment virtually. An appointment that is 100% covered by insurance turned into an almost $350 appointment. I have been trying to get this issue resolved and was told they would resolve it when my insurance representative got in contact with them but now it looks like they sent me to collections. They can not keep doctors at this location and nobody knows exactly what is going on. I was transferred here when Dr. Garcia left their sister location. In the year and a half I have been coming here, I have seen 4 different providers. Right now again, they are without a doctor. Supposedly, one is going to start tomorrow. Time to update my review now that it's been a few years and the staff has changed. I still adore this office and feel so lucky! Lauren, the office manager, is always so polite. I have been to see Dr. Garcia a handful of times now. Unfortunately, I have some health risks that are genetic, so she has been keeping a close eye on my numbers. Never had such a caring, enthusiastic, and pleasant doctor. Her bedside manner is the best that I've ever seen and I work in healthcare. Highly recommend this office! read more

My initial visit a month ago was not great. I waited 30 minutes after my appointment time, 45 minutes in total, and was called back just before I was going to leave. They wanted blood work, which I did a week before my follow up. Quest sent me the results. I tried to cancel my follow up since I can read results, but they called me to say they REALLY wanted me to do the follow up. Then called me back to say my provider was no longer there. But rescheduled with another. I go today, and they said my appointment was cancelled. No idea why. On to another office...... read more

This is just a money grab. It's a real bummer, but I thought they would be different. I was told when I made the appointment to fast for my blood tests and I filled out a comprehensive form online at their request to skip all the BS in the first visit. I show up, am told there's no blood tests, they're running behind and this is not an actual visit, it's a way to say hello and chat through your medical history. The medical history I spent 30 minutes filling out online to skip this step. Then they say after this visit with a $30 copay, I can schedule a new visit for a physical and after that yet another visit to review bloodwork. Run. Save your money. read more

This is my first time at Henderson Health Group and so far I am not pleased with the service. I had an appointment at the beginning of August and had some blood work done. It's been over a month and I still have not received my results. I've called twice and the customer support cannot get ahold of the office for an update. They keep "sending messages" to the office but no one will follow up with me. Very disappointed in the service provided. Not to mention, they charged me $118 for a copay visit and I questioned it but still paid it. A week later I called my insurance and was told they had to refund me the full amount as there was not supposed to be any copay due. read more

I've had to change from seeing Mia at the other office to this location and it hasn't bothered me one bit that I can't get in to see Mia much anymore because of my work schedule, but I can see Marika and I am just as happy with seeing Marika as I was Mia... Front and back office staff have always been pleasant and helpful, and listen as attentively as Mia and Marika do when I'm either in pain or not feeling well. Calling for an appointment can be sometimes interesting, but I get it with the Pandemic, and they are pretty busy both on the phone and in the offices. I like the waiting area more at the Henderson office, but wish they'd put up some kind of barrier or glass wall between the doc office and dental office to provide 1) more privacy, 2) more social distancing between the medical patients and dental patients... my ONLY other suggestion would be to get one or both of them to open an office in NLV so I don't have to drive so far to see them, but trust me, it's worth it!! read more

I have been waiting for a revision to my original prescription for 3 weeks. I put in a request that my current prescription be changed to generic. On March 28th and am still waiting for this correction to be made. I have called numerous times, email on March 7 and went in person March 6th to the Henderson location. I can never reach anyone at the actual office and although the secretary line is sympathetic they can only put in urgent requests that seem to be ignored. I have not so much as had an update via email or text. They are horribly unorganized. read more

Love this place! Going here was like visiting a friend. My first visit was to get established as a patient for a home medical doctor. I was seen by Darryl, nurse practitioner and I loved that he spent quality time with me during this first visit. To be honest, I didn't have this kind of time-spent with the other doctors that I have seen in the past. Darryl was very patient with my questions and discussed with me the other health concerns that I have and is experiencing. He discussed with me what may be the cause of each of my health concerns and enumerated what treatments he plans on recommending on my follow up visit. He was very attentive and showed passion and true interest when explaining possible cures and causes of what medical issues I have. He did not scold me or made me feel like a child who got caught doing something bad when I told him of medical conditions I was diagnosed in the past. He also did not make me feel judged or belittled when I told him how long ago my last physical exam was. Sometimes, the medical doctor you see and how they made you feel in a visit could be the very cause why one does not want to go back to any medical appointments. So far, my visit to Henderson Health Group was very positive and I am not dreading to go back for my follow up visit. I recommend Darryl and this group to all of you who are looking for a better practitioner than the one you see or for those who need an initial visit. Bravo!!! read more

well they do answer the phone. Most places dont seem to answer. But i personally have had the worst experience with HHG. They never call me back. They don't answer questions or reply on https://www.smilegenerationmychart.com/ . But they are aware that i have sent questions. yet the don't answer them. My biggest problem is getting them to send prescriptions to pharmacies. They just will not send the prescriptions but say they will. It's total insanity. read more

I saw Dr. Garcia once for my first exam and she ordered blood work. When I was making a second appt, I was frustrated with one of the clerks at the reception desk (over the phone) and I was definitely short with her before finally speaking with Dr. Garcia. I learned that my thyroid was very low which causes extreme fatigue, mood swings, etc. Dr Garcia acted very understanding over the phone when I apologized for being impatient with her staff. Now I cannot schedule another appt there. They won't respond to messages on the app or ones left on the phone. They clearly don't want me to continue as a patient there and are they really providing compassionate care? Now I am desperately trying to find another doctor and will have to wait 2 months to see one. Very disappointing. read more

Mia, Marika and Diana are amazing providers. Haven't felt more comfortable at a primary care office than I have here. The are straight forward with what type of treatment you may need. I like that my prescription is always ready at my pharmacy. Abeni is absolutely wonderful with all my billing questions and concerns. I truly appreciate that you all go the extra mile and offer options for treatment. I definitely recommend this office for primary care as well as the lobby is co-located with a dental office that offers everything including braces and kid's dentistry. I needed a new primary Dr so set up an appointment for initial visit back in September. Due to them being busy, I guess my appointment is set for Late November. About 43 weeks from appointment the call and reschedule for December 22nd due to Dr schedule change. Ok I will wait another month. On December 21st I get a message saying Dr is leaving and that I need to reschedule my appointment. Wow three month wait two reschedules....no thanks I will find some other doctors office. read more

Really wanted to like this place but communication was horrible between front desk & doctors/NP lady. They had me come back 3 times for something that should have taken 1 visit... Really big waste of time. Ended up throwing out all the blood they drew because they couldn't get anything straight. :/ There was also a dead cockroach on the floor in front of the reception desk & dirt/paper on the floor in the exam rooms. I have finally found a primary physician after almost two years of living in Henderson! It was easy to set up an appointment and I didn't have to wait weeks to get in. Ivan(medical assistant), Abeni(manager), and Dr. Waltman are all rock stars at what they do! I've spoken to Ivan and Abeni over the phone and in person. They are so welcoming and make sure you are taken care of. Dr.Waltman has some of the best bedside manner I've experienced and addressed all of my concerns with out any negative judgment or making me feel like I didn't know what I was talking about. If I could give 0 stars i would. This place is an absolute joke. They have violated HIPAA and provided information to my spouse's ex-wife. They have had my husband's appointment scheduled for the last week to review bloodwork and walked in the room today, asking if Labcorp fax it over to them. How would we know this and why would they not have the labs ready for review when they know the appointment for today is to review lab results. At a previous visit the nurse practitioner came in and started reviewing my husbands lab results with my son instead of my son's lab results. I really wanted to like this place but they have very poor communication. I was a new patient and booked my appointment here over a month in advance because they fill up quickly. I filled out all my paperwork that was emailed to me ahead of time. I arrived to my appointment only to be told I needed to arrive 15mins early to fill out paperwork, which I did online ahead of time. I was not notified by phone or email to arrive early. They stated I can not be seen, it would set the doctor behind... the office was empty. I took the day off from work, needed child care, all to not be seen and told to reschedule. This is exactly why I don't like going to the "medical professionals". I came in for a new patient appointment. The Nurse Practitioner was abrupt, aggressive and didn't listen. She saw one thing wrong and that was the only thing she cared about. Didn't look at history or ask any questions except to explain why my previous doctor did what she did. Refused to do what I asked. She obviously had some personal opinions that were effecting her responses. I felt attacked and belittled for my choices and the decisions my previous doctor made. She was condescending and a bit of a bully. I was just trying to find a new doctor on the side of town I now live on, but she made me feel like I'd rather drive across town then go back to that office. WOW!!! LOVE THIS MEDICAL OFFICE! I actually HATE going to the doctor....however, I have found the MOST welcoming and professional office EVER! I walked in, and was warmly greeted by Alethea! She is AMAZING! I was immediately comforted by her humor, and beautiful smiling face. I then had the pleasure of meeting Abonia. She is also AMAZING! She took my pressure, and got me ready to meet the wonderful Nurse Practitioner, Marika Chunyk. This is my first time seeing only the N.P., usually I also have to the the Doctor. I MUST say what a wonderful person Marika is. She was so comforting, listened to everything I said, answered ALL of my questions, and knew exactly how to resolve everything. My experience here was fantastic! I didn't have any wait time to be checked in or brought to the back, and the nurse practitioner Marika saw me very promptly. She was attentive to my concerns and made me feel comfortable. I brought my prescription to the pharmacy and my medication ended up being more expensive than I had planned. N.P. Marika and Abeni from the front office contacted my pharmacy to change my prescription so my copay would be more affordable, helping me to get the care I needed that day!
