South Hill mall opened in 1998 and then was expanded in 1992 with over 100 stores available…read more I do enjoy vibes of small shopping malls. It's not too crowded and super busy. This mall has several stores to name a few: -Barnes & Noble - Golden Corral -Hot Topic -H&M -JCPenney -Gyro Twist -Kay Jewelers -Round1 Bowling & Arcade -Target -Old Navy -Bath and Body -Zumiez -Regal Theaters -Children -Pandora -Dick's Sporting Goods -Children's play center -Rivers Cafe and so much more! There's a food court and movie theater. Operation hours are from 10am-9pm Monday-Saturday. Sunday 11am-6pm. Although I rarely shop at the mall. I pay a visit about once every 3-5 months and when I do, I enjoy walking around and splurge a little bit.

But today it was a pleasant surprise at how friendly the sales person was. We were welcomed right when we first walked in and the sales person was eager to help us select an item to try on. There's no sales pressure here, when shopping with my daughter. She knows exactly what she's looking for and if she doesn't see it, then it's on to the next store. I was looking for a comfortable shoe for my daughter, something easy to slip on and off but also at a decent price! The sales person was very accommodating making sure the shoe fit well and secure. Not too big or bulky. The size I had requested was not available but they had the shoe my daughter wanted in a half size bigger than what we were looking for. Thankfully either this brand runs small or her feet grow a bit this past week I'm thinking she grow this was my first time purchasing the brand but it fit like a glove and she was happy, in return I was also happy Plus!!!!! They still provide military a discount on your purchases. The lady who helped us was very kind and sweet. I went in…read moreto make a return for shoes that I realized when we got home were the floor model and dirty and had a staple price tag on it. (1st time ever trying to return something here.) The lady went in the back to ask whom I assume is a manager a question and I can hear them laughing and the lady was making fun of me for saying the shoe was dirty and had a tag stapled on it...she gave me such a hard time when all I wanted to do was exchange for a different clean shoe. Will never spend another time here. Strange interaction and attitudes.
