I just happened to look up Dominican Republic, which is our destination, day before flight and learned that you have to submit an application for an e-ticket to get into the country. Must be done in advance and country approval for travelers. Called the travel agent and she was clueless. Had I not happen to come across this, we would have been in trouble. Travel agent also got us zero perks with hotel. What's the point? Travel agent did absolutely nothing for us.

Our journey director was outstanding. Our fellow travelers were fabulous, a group of 12. We would explore the coast from this beautiful spot in Positano, each day setting out for adventure in a lovely Mercedes van. We were mostly in places where we saw few Americans, we ate at wonderful restaurants, and had an absolute blast. We had a wonderful blend of active and down time, we learned and saw so much, and laughed every day ! Amazing! The next trip was Florence, Cinque Terra, and Tuscany, amazing as well. The hotels and villa we stayed in were top notch, our journey director amazing, another perfect trip. This was a more active trip, but we enjoyed every second, we felt like we saw a very real side of Italy, not just tourist spots. The Time we spent on each spot was magical. The charming town of Lucca and the Villa in Tuscany were top of our list. We are not organized tour people, but the small group, perfectly curated Nada's trips are beyond. We could not recommend them more highly.

Bonnie was available so I talked with her about what we were looking for and asked for any additional suggestions, knowing the timing was only a month away. Bonnie pulled up several lines, dates, prices, etc. She was very friendly and coordinated everything around the best dates and times for me. Not only did she book the cruise, but handled the flights and pier transportation vouchers. After leaving the office I was so happy with my experience, knowing it would never have been that easy for me to make sure everything all worked out together. A week after booking my trip I received a call from the Office Manager, to make sure my experience went well and answer any questions I had. That is true customer service. They said we were stuck for 4 days. NOT when its Camille trip! She was ON IT LIKE POPCORN in the middle of the night and got my husband and I on a plane - next day. The second time, she answered my emergency call on Thanksgiving and got my father that was "stuck" in Louisiana due to no flights for 5 days on a plane next day to be with his family during the loss of his mother in law. Passport: I had to get a photo for my Canadian passport. The fellow at the passport desk had me…read morestand and click for a photo. I saw him on the machine doing something. He then showed it to me, it was wrong. Canada has its passport information posted on their site and clearly shows the size/dimension and what needs to be in and on the back of the picture. I told the guy and he adamantly disagreed. He said our machine is set to Can. PP standards. With that I sent in my renewal fee with that picture. A few weeks later I got a call saying the picture is wrong. I must send another with the required information on the back. I went back to the Ballantyne location and thankfully a gal was there. She took it and it came out perfect, it was the size it should be. No adjustments. She stamped the back with the location info, her name, etc. My advice... go elsewhere if you see that small fellow in front of the computer at the PP desk. Membership renewal: Another day I went in to renew my AAA membership. I've been a member for 48 yrs. I had to change my address due to a move. Received my new card in the mail with the correct acct number. A few weeks later I received mail with another card to my current address. It had my previous married last name with a different acct number? I've been divorced for 17 yrs. I took the card into the Ballantyne office and asked... why this? The fellow looked around on the computer and couldn't figure it out. I asked him to cancel that membership, said he did. Someone had to go back in the AAA history to find that info., then take the time to create a new card and have it sent out.

I had a car battery replace in December 2022. In the last week, I had to jump my car a few times…read moreand called AAA to see if they could check it out, and Mark said to just drop it off in the morning and he'd get it looked at. Turns out a new battery was needed and since I was still under 3 years (barely!) it was replaced. I was so happy with them making time to evaluate it and to honor the warranty with no questions asked. Great experience overall!
