Contacted Daniel to determine what the charge would be to service my garage door that had never been touched. He quoted me a price and we agreed for him to come next day. He arrived at our specified time. Was very pleasant and brought his son as helper. He evaluated the door and then got to work. In less than one hour my formerly very noisy door was so quiet I could hardly believe it. When finished he told me what they had done and said that the door was just showing signs of being 16 years old. No need to think about a replacement at this time and all working parts were in acceptable condition. We recently got two belt drive garage openers from this company. He is honest and told us a chain one is quiet too and less expensive. But I love our belt one and it has cameras too! We initially wanted to get new garage doors too but these days it's super expensive and he said it's not necessary since our doors are in good condition. Excellent service! I would give a 10 star if I can. My Dad notified me that the garage door failed to open and close. I searched up on Yelp and placed a quick message to garage door service businesses in the Fresno area. Yelp copied and sent out my message and pictures to 4 businesses. Out of a 24 hour timeframe, 3 out of the 4 businesses returned a response. One business wanted a $95 dollar fee just to come out and give me an estimate. Daniel from Peace Door Service messaged me and was willing to come out to give me a free quote. From the pictures that was shared through the message, Daniel was able to give me a decent idea of what services might be needed to get the garage door moving again. The heat was horrendous in Fresno so he was willing to schedule an early appointment for the following morning. Our garage was those old, loud motor lift. Daniel came, looked through the unit, shared his diagnostic, and gave me a quote that fit my budget. I accepted his quote and hired his service. I had done my research and read many reviews. There are a mixture of reviews for many of the businesses but I was looking for a local small business to support. I wanted to stay away from big businesses that would add overhead charges to do the work. Daniel was knowledgeable, quick, professional, and down to earth. He knew what he was doing and his positivity showed me that he enjoys his work. He suggested a better unit that was quiet and ran more efficiently. My husband's grandmother ran into her garage door on a Sunday before July 4, and needed help fixing it. I decided to call Peace Door Service after seeing their good reviews, and took a chance calling on a Sunday afternoon to see if anyone answered. Daniel answered, and was able to come out within a couple hours that same day. He was able to fix the door enough to get it closed while he waited to get a quote from his supplier after the holiday weekend. He didn't even charge us for the work he did to get the garage closed. He gave us two quotes, one to fix it so the garage door opener would be able to work again, and another to replace the panels for the door. Both quotes seemed very reasonable and we decided to use him for the service. He was out in the estimated time frame for both visits, was very pleasant and helpful, and did a great job in a short amount of time. Grandma was also very pleased with him!
