Yvette answered about 20 emails about questions I had before she even knew me, very promptly. She showed up right on time. She sat down on the floor making friends with my boy. He was very hesitant at first, this was his first groom. She gave him treats and sweet talked him right to her. You can tell she definitely loves dogs. She set her stuff up in my bathroom. I told her he was scared of the blow dryer noise so she said if it was OK with me she wouldn't use the fur sucker thing but his hair would be everywhere. I was fine with that. Anything to give him a good experience. She talked so sweet and kind to him the whole time she groomed him. I don't think he ever even whimpered. She gave me the choice to be in with them but he was much better behaved without me there! (Momma's boy). My baby is a Maltese, 7 mths old. I cut his nails on a reregular basis but he has a few black nails that I was scared to cut. She called me in and showed me how to do it. He didn't even flinch! I think I'll be leaving those up to her. She later called me in be cause she found a TICK on him! It was nestled in the hair by his ear. I was horrified. I use the flea and tick meds on him, he's potty pad trained, and because I got him in the fall he's only been out 4 or 5 times. I brush him about every other day. She was very careful explaining to me about how you have to make sure to get the legs out when you take the tick off. She got it off like a pro and my Truvett didn't even flinch! She washed the area thoroughly and told me what I should watch out for. When she bathed him she did it in my kitchen sink. (That's where I bath him). I told her she had her hands full. He hates baths and hugs you the whole time he gets a bath. She gave me some tips and he was great. She remembered the blow dryer noise towel dried him. What groomer do you know who does that? She was here for 4 hours, God bless her! She was absolutely wonderful. We have already made our next appointment. Yvette and her husband came to my house to groom my fur boy. It was their first time meeting him and they did a wonderful job of making him and I comfortable. They got to know him a bit before grooming which meant a lot to me. Yvette brought treats which my boy loved. The grooming went great. Absolutely no mess was left behind. Yvette gave him a cute little neck tie before she left that looks adorable. I LOVE the fragrance she used on him. Smells like a musky vanilla, my favorite! Yvette and I clicked right from the beginning which was great! It meant a lot to be able to stay and even assist because my fur baby is 14.5 years old, has arthritis, warts and probably Cushing's disease. But Yvette talked to her and at one point even suggested a break because the dog was fatigued and she noticed it. My past experience is that groomers want you to drop off the animals and leave. Yvette was very patient with my dog. It's easy to see she loves animals and has 2 dogs of her own. I would highly recommend her and will be seeing her again soon. read more

They did the most amazing job on a long-haired cat that had to be shaved. Yvette & Tony had a difficult job ahead of them that included the need for thick leather gloves. They removed a clothes basket's worth of fur and mats. Yvette and Tony came to our house (a big bonus to me). They are very nice people and extremely professional. Yvette is a rock star with fur babies. She and her husband were so good with my kitty, and he needed A LOT of help. They persevered, were extremely patient, and were able to get all of his nasty mats off of him. They were so compassionate and gentle. I would highly recommend Yvette's team. Yvette handled my two skittish Shetland sheepdogs with the greatest of care. From the moment she stepped into the house to the moment she left, my pets were her only priority.
