I recently brought my Goldendoodle to Pets Perfect and was so impressed with the complete grooming that I felt a fine review was in order here! Our dog was seriously overgrown with a coat we could not manage to do ourselves, had some serious matting. Melissa and her friendly staff did an amazing job bathing and giving him a summer shave, successfully negotiated removal of matts too. Our dog was so much more comfortable and I was very relieved and impressed when I picked him up. Melissa even took the time to explain what they did to me and stressed the importance of regular grooming with his breed. Anyone considering any sort of grooming should schedule an appointment with this amazing salon today! read more

This is the absolute worst groomer I have ever used... when I arrived to pick up my sweet baby, I heard her screaming at my dog- who was cowering and shaking, about how horrible she was and how much she "f*cking hates 'her'". If that wasn't enough, the place was absolutely filthy, my dog had shampoo all inside of her ears which resulted in a horrible ear infection, she has a giant open wound on her head (which the vet said looked like she hit her head). Her nails were probably the most horrific scene of it all... she cut them so short that there was blood everywhere and I had to fill socks with Vaseline and put an E-collar on her just to help heal it... when I told her that this was unacceptable, she said she (my dog) looks better than half the dogs she does and if I had a problem with it, I should do it myself from now on... please don't subject your animals to this cruelty... I have an amazing groomer that I typically used, but she was on vacation when I needed this particular session done. I will never make the same mistake twice... Edit to respond to owner. This was 100% the right facility. It was YOU who did it and I talked to another pet parent that said she found out you hit her dog as well. You're despicable. I hope you get shut down. I will make sure I tell everybody about what you have done. Don't go destroying anymore records, cause now you're being watched read more

Melissa has been an Accredited Professional Pet Groomer of 15+ years. She attended The School of Pet Grooming in California to become an accredited groomer. Her experience ranges from working in big corporate salons to small salons to boarding and training facilities. Her love of animals has been life-long and stems from her childhood; she grew with dog, cats, birds… ect She has always had a passion for working with dogs and cats and has worked in the animal care industry for much of her life. She currently has two rescued dogs; and a rescued cat.

We got her from a rescue when she was about 7 months old and started taking her to Christopher Robins (C.R.) when she was about 10 months old as we wanted her to be comfortable socializing with other dogs and humans. We chose C.R. because of how the dogs are allowed to interact with each other. The play sessions they set up are truly customized to our dog's personality, how she likes to play, and her level of comfort with other dogs. They monitor to make sure the dogs don't get overwhelmed, and to ensure the play groups are fun for our dog and those she plays with. We get report cards showing pictures of her play sessions so we can see her progress. Dogs are social animals and need their pack. C.R. will let us know when she has a good day, when she helps comfort another dog who needs help engaging with the group, or when she has a new best friend. It's been almost two years since we started using Christopher Robins and highly recommend them. Our dog is thriving and looks forward to going to C.R. every time. Though it is 100% our responsibility to train our dog and prepare them for social situations, and C.R. has helped enhance our dog's socialization and how she plays. On top of that something either on their floors or outside caused their paws to bleed. My vet didn't know if they had a reaction to something they cleaned the floors with or something outside. Basically, my poor babies were miserable. Here, I have absolutely no complaints. They were wonderful with my dogs and took great care of them. They went back in April and had a great stay. I was also told that they would be welcomed back, which apparently was a lie. Where they lost my recommendation was what happened after. I recently called to have them stay there again and I received an email declining the reservation. Their explanation was that due to my dogs anxiety they would not accept them. Yes, one of my dogs has anxiety and is on medication, however, that did not cause the bloody paws or the diarrhea. I called as soon as their office was open and received their voicemail, so I left basically the same message as I wrote above. They replied with an email saying that they would review the situation. Well, it's been over a week and I never heard back. it is bad business to welcome someone back when they are face to face with you and then go back on that in an email, reply to a phone call with an email and then drop all communication.

I highly recommend using this day care, ESPECIALLY if you do not want you dog locked in a kennel for hours a day. Long Story I own a 5 year old boxer mix named Oscar. Oscar has been my only family, traveling with me for the past 5 years and I care for him very much. As so, it is very hard for me to leave him in the hands of others and NEVER over night. She did a solid job with Stevie, and I know Stevie felt safe (she didn't shake like she does when she's nervous). The haircut wasn't as smooth as usual, meaning she had some rough Tufts of hair around her legs and face. However, I'd rather the face not be so smooth, thank risk cutting her face. I give credit to any groomer. I'd be afraid to have scissors around my dog's face if I was holding them. If you're not looking for a perfect dog show cut, I recommend this place. It was really nice that I could bring Stevie to her house. She was willing to come to my place as well, but I figured it'd just be easier if I went there. Yvette has all the regular dog table and normal stuff that comes with any dog groomer. I would absolutely feel safe about bringing Stevie there again.

We had passed a farm earlier in the week with a sign, "Free Kittens"; it was only by doing the calculations of all the eventual costs that made it possible to resist.

There is also an adoption fee, they need to cover costs. The sweet cat we adopted was in a foster home and clearly very well-cared for. I understand that cats can be really nervous with strangers but there was no way to tell what her temperament might be in these surroundings. They offered to have the foster call me to talk more about her. Again, no call, no response. I'm guessing some of the people in there were probably volunteers but they didn't seem to know much about the cats in there (or much about cats in general). All in all it was a really disappointing experience. I ended up adopting from another agency.

We've used one other place but it was not nearly as close to us as this facility. Anyway, we made a few calls and set up a time to come visit. When we go there, I knew my baby was going to be just fine. Everyone was super friendly and informative. I explained that my little guy is skittish and we've been working tirelessly to get him socialized. That was not a deterrent at all. We set up a date and time for pick up and drop off and it was all set. I will say that because this is a new business, there were some hiccups along the way when it came to pickup and drop off but overall it went well. When we were gone, my husband was so stressed and worried about the dog so he texted quite often. Thankfully, Janine has the patience of a saint. She answered all of the texts and sent pictures. It was such a relief. She went out of her way to make our little guy comfortable by sleeping near him and allowing him the space and time to adjust. She was wonderful. She quickly learned of his little quirks and agreed that he needs some socializing. When we came home, she gave us a brief rundown of how things went. Overall I think it went well. I am really appreciative of everyone and their efforts. I hope this facility continues to grow and become a full service daycare, boarding, grooming, rescue facility. I want to bring my dog there for more opportunities to play with other dogs and socialize.

Melissa is more than good...a trooper - a warrior. I had a bit of an emergency with my standard poodle, Annie, she was matted on her backside. Melissa worked at it and got enough hair off that Annie could go. I had no idea she was matted as I wiped her off Mon.. Poor Melissa and Annie, once Annie was helped enough so she could go, diarrhea in the waiting area!!!! I was happy for Annie, felt awful for Melissa and wanted the earth to swallow me. Bless Melissa's heart for cleaning as I have really bad knees and back and did what I could. If i could give her 100 stars I would!! She is so good with Annie!! My senior GSD has hip issues and trouble with new people. Groomer was gentle, caring and patient with my old man. She took the time to get acquainted, gained his trust and gave him an amazing experience. He now gets excited when he sees the groomer and looks stunning upon his departure. Melissa, the owner, and her assistant (sorry, I can't remember her name) were great to work with. My dog, Willow, was the lone dog in the salon. I appreciate this since Willow does ha e issues with other dogs. She looked great after her bath, cut, and nail trim. I will be going back for Willow's next grooming. read more
