Not bad for the price. 60mi with free hot stones - 30min body and 30min foot. They started in the foot and I was at one the station in the open area. Then I moved to a room for the body. Overall I totally needed a massage. I've certainly had better, but this was ok. I wish I didn't have to switch to a room for the body, and I didn't realize I would have to strip down too. So it kind of broke the relaxing part. What I found weird was though I kept my underwear on as I always do, the masseuse push them down my butt further. I think I was at full moon! And most of the time she wasn't even close to my lower back. And normally they would provide coverage, so I was a bit chilly. Fortunately I'm not one to be shy, I was just curious as to what was going on. So!!!! If there is ever a next time...I'll just stick to the foot. You have your own room, so you can disrobe to how much you feel comfortable, and then lie on the massage table. My massage therapist quickly switched to a lighter touch when i asked, and she did a very thorough job of working mostly on my back. She also massaged my legs, neck, should and feet. I could feel the soreness start to melt away. It's amazing how quickly one hour passes by when you're being pampered. She was very friendly and checked in on me occasionally to make sure everything was fine with the massage. I spent hours on the phone trying to find a place that could give my elderly disabled husband a massage. He cannot lie on a table but needs to be partially sitting. No one could accomodate his needs though one was willing to do something make shift to try to make it work. Then I called Happy Feet and they assured me they had a table that worked. We drove by to check it out and sure enough the table they use is split and the top half tilts up like a hosptal bed. My husband sat on it and they put a pillow behind him for more support. No big deal. They just dealt with the issue. And it was so much less expensive than the places that couldn't help him. So today he went in and it was beyond perfect. Annie did the massage and when she finished he was the most relaxed limp noodle you have ever seen. And that is HUGE for this guy who is always in pain. He couldn't find a single negative thing from the pan of hot water to soak his feet at the beginning to the amount of pressure she used on his frail body. I wish they lived in our town. We would be there weekly. And by the way, no one showed us a sign about an expected tip or complained about what we left which was 16%. No one was rude. Everyone was delightful. read more

My usual, the place in Port Hueneme, had become busy and I couldn't get in. I called around and same was true for a couple others. I was thinking there was no such thing as walk ins anymore until I called this place. I had an evening hair appt and some kinks in my feet I wanted worked out before. I started off my quest wanting my usual hour or 50 min, but after driving around and being on the phone for awhile, by the time I got to this Happy Feet on Telephone and Main (between Habit n 99 cent store), I only had time for a 30 min. I didn't even know this place was here. I was greeted by Lucy, who sounded like the same person on the phone. We went back and there was still just us, with her preparing everything to give me the massage herself. I worried about who would answer the door or phone while I had my massage, but during I did hear the front door bell go off and a super quiet whisper, then nothing. When I left, the curtains were closed on one of the private rooms . They were very very very quiet. I like that. It was clean and modern where, admittedly, I like more of a dark opium vibe, but those are hard to find and I just wanted my feet kinks rubbed out, so I didn't mind. The first plus was the bed, super wide and adjustable, she changed it from flat to be like a lounge chair as part of her prep. This was noticed because I've actually put up with laying flat on a skinny bed with my elbows hanging off and my feet dangling over the side, bent at the knee for the initial soak. It's not comfortable and I bide my time until I can get my legs up and stretched out. Next appreciation came when she brought a lined basket to soak my feet. It had a raised bottom, no dangling! I thought I would need the whole 30 min to rub out those kinks, but as my feet soaked Lucy massaged my face and knuckled pressure points on my scalp really hard. This is not a complaint. I didn't know how hard or soft grandmotherly Lucy's touch would be. I was delighted to find it would be a therapeutic Thai type massage. Very soon she lifted and dried my feet and, with hands of steel, precisely rubbed, prodded, poked all parts of my feet until I was in the middle of a transcendental experience, complete with a loving happy endorphins rush. Probably one of the strongest I've ever felt. Somewhere far off a dog was barking, but I didn't care. And in that same far off place, there was a faint thought I would be late for my hair appt, because it felt like I was there longer than 30 min. I'm floating and she finishes up by doing those pushes all the way up my legs. She did my lower legs and ankles as well, of course, so just a really complete job. Time to pay, I go to the front and look at the clock. It's only been 30 min from the time I got there! So, what usually takes an hour, and I wish would go longer, I got in 30 min, completely transformed both physically and attitudinally. I left feeling like I wanted to go back every day. Realistically, it's $30 per, so not everyday, but I won't be going anywhere else or needing a full hour from now on. read more

I was determined to get a massage, and so I searched for another place nearby with 5 star reviews, and found Happy Feet Spa. To my surprise, on a Sunday at 4pm, they were able to fit me in for not only a 90 minute deep tissue massage, but also a 30 minute foot massage. My massage therapist was Jenny, and she was AMAZING. She knows how to do a proper deep tissue massage. I felt so relaxed the whole time I was there, and she would check in with me periodically throughout both massages to see how I was doing, in regards to pressure, etc. Which was so nice.
