I just finished 4 weeks/8 sessions with Dan and I am extremely satisfied with my training!…read more Dan is a professional through and through. He tailored my workouts and listened to me. I read someone here say, he's in his office most of time. I say there is some truth to that but I am glad that he doesn't micromanages me! He is still watching through his computer what is happening on the floor. He saw me struggling finding a balance once and he came right out to correct my posture. He is watching at all times and I appreciate that. I also love the encouragement that the gives me. His statement, "you are not here to try, you are here to work" lives rent-free in my head. I push myself harder because I know he believes I can do it. The fee can be a little steep for others but you get what you pay for . I treat it as an investment I am making for myself. I now sleep better, have more energy and feels stronger physically. Lastly, there are quite a few people I've met who have been at this gym for over 3 years. What does that tell you? Hop on!

I've been coming to Dan's gym for 4 1/2 years now. It's sort of difficult to find what I'm looking…read morefor in a gym. I like a non-corporate, neighborhood-type place with a trainer who can create programs that make sense for me and my goals, and keep an eye on my form for safety and best results. On the other hand, I get intensely focused and would prefer to be mostly left alone during my workouts. The semi-private training sessions here allows me to have both. Everyone gets along in the shared space, but at the same time everyone is there to be active and keep our eyes on the prize. It's very low-key and welcoming. This is not a gym to sit and pose at, this is a place to sweat lots and have fun! I really appreciate that every exercise Dan assigns is straight from the classics. Barbell, dumbbells, kettlebells, body weight, calisthenics, etc. They're classics because they work! He puts them together in way that each workout compliments and amps up every other workout. Just show up, follow Dan's advice, and you will get results. (Always plenty of parking, too.)

Absolutely love my gym! The equipment is amazing, tons of free weights, staff is great and people…read morewho work out here are cool and work out hard. Highly recommend!

I signed up for a one-year membership and, in April, I specifically told the front desk that I did…read morenot want my membership to automatically renew after the year ended. Unfortunately, instead of noting my request to prevent auto-renewal, they canceled my membership entirely. When I talked Jonathan (or Yonathan) to the gym, I told them which employee had helped me, but I was informed that he no longer works there. Because there were no notes in the system, they said they couldn't correct the mistake. what disappointed me most wasn't just the error--it was how it was handled. Rather than acknowledging that a staff member made a mistake, he simply repeated that "the system can't undo it" and that there was nothing they could do. There was no apology, no ownership, and no effort to find a reasonable solution. The attitude came across as, "You're out of luck." The frustrating part is that I wasn't trying to get out of paying. I was fully willing to continue paying for the remainder of my one-year membership exactly as I had agreed. I simply wanted the original terms honored. Instead, I was left dealing with the consequences of an employee's mistake, and the gym refused to take responsibility because that employee no longer worked there. What was honestly so strange and surprising was their complete unwillingness to help. In my experience, when a business makes a mistake--especially one as small and fixable as this--they usually try to make it right and keep you as a customer. Instead, I was met with a rigid "rules are rules" response. I asked to speak to a manager but Jonathan stated he was the manager. Mistakes happen, but good or even basic customer service is about how a business responds when they do. Unfortunately, this experience which was easily fixable left me very disappointed. Nice equipment but poor management.

I have been a paying member of this gym and have generally enjoyed the facility, but my recent…read moreexperience with one of the night-shift employees was extremely disappointing. I purchased guest passes so I could bring my son to experience the gym. Instead of being welcoming or professional, the employee openly expressed that he did not like my son and stated that he would refuse to sell me guest passes in the future. I found this behavior completely inappropriate and unprofessional. Guest passes are offered by the gym as a service to members, and personal opinions about a member's family should never influence whether that service is provided. The employee's comments made both my son and me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. I expect staff to treat all members and guests with respect, regardless of personal feelings. Management should address this issue and ensure employees maintain a professional attitude when interacting with customers.

As I mentioned in my previous review, I think the only knock on this gym is that there is not…read moreenough cardio equipment but all that being said it's a lifters gym so that makes sense. The place is always clean, weights are always put away, clientele is always for the most part working out, not carrying on with conversations or taking or making their own video production of their workout because they're an influencer, which don't give me wrong they are still here, but they're far a few between the other gyms. They offer ready-made meals, every kind of protein drink that you can come up with along with waters a place to sit and rest so you really can't go wrong with this gym. The owner Dave, his wife and the staff are all really really, really nice people.
