I also regret agreeing to pay in full up front, which I now know is a red flag in general. If you work with Brian, some questions you may want to ask: * Will you take any measures (at all) to protect surfaces that are not the floor, like painted walls, trim, cabinets, light switches, doors, sinks, and millwork, or should I expect to find wood stain smeared on the first 1/2" of all vertical surfaces where they meet the floor and fingerprints/smears pretty much everywhere else? * If you stain things that are not the floor will you remove the stain if possible or otherwise fix the damage if not? * Will you stand by your installation work, or are there situations in which you will not guarantee that the floor will not cup, move, gap, bow, sink, etc? * Is there anything you are not mentioning to me now that you might offer as an explanation for poor results after the job is complete? * Does the quoted fee include the entire area under discussion or are you waiting to tell me about another fee? * If you subcontract the job, will I be dealing with you or with your subcontractor? * What will you do in the event that your subcontractor damages my property, eg puts a 12' long scuff down the face of a brand-new wood cabinet with a sander? Will you fix that or drag out dealing with it for months on end until I bring up a small claims suit? * If I pay you in advance, do you care at all if I am happy with your work? Remita documented that Bastian left a heating iron on the carpet too long causing the pad and carpet to be stuck together, therefore ripple kept getting worse over time. There are so many reputable companies in the Lehigh Valley. This was an experience from start to finish that I wouldn't want anyone else to experience.

They are the first building contractors we have found that do EVERYTHING the right way (we have tried bigger and smaller firms). They genuinely care about doing a great job. Communication is clear and transparent, and the job is detailed. We were provided a specification list of all fittings, along with a work design drawing for practical purposes and 3D visuals of what the bathroom would look like. Before work started, everything was scheduled and the process flowed beautifully. All permits were handled without any involvement from us and they used a straight forward project app to ensure we had daily updates. I've added some photos but it's hard to show exactly how much difference this addition en-suite has made to our home and all the behind the scenes electrics and plumbing required to make it happen. We are over the moon with the end result and enjoyed the structured process of delivery. We are about to contract with them to renovate an existing en-suite and build a new hidden walk in closet.
