We are so pleased with the amazing service we received . Desmond was very kind . I feel they went above and beyond to handle my granddaughters bunny Fudge . I will definitely be using them for all my animals here on out. They are also very affordable for all that you receive . I called many places . Check them out .

This is my sweet boy, Orion.

My sweet Orion passed away on December 7th. We received Orion's ashes December 9th in a beautiful wooden box with his name engraved on a plaque. We also got a clay impression of his paw along with an paw print in ink. Peaceful Paws went the extra mile to memorialize my pup. I appreciate all that they have done. I highly recommend their services when the time comes. I cannot begin to tell you how much it has meant to me and my family.

Grateful for their gentleness in handling my sweet baby's remains. They gave me a nice bracelet and tufts of her fur to keep. That helped a lot in the grieving process. It was quick and painless and made me feel better that my cat's urn/box was beautifully made to honor her.

I recently lost my dog companion, Rico. Peaceful Paws went above and beyond with the cremation. They put some of his hair in a pouch for me, they also made his paw prints on a heart-shaped plaster cast. His remains came in a beautiful wood box with his name on it, instead of a little flimsy cardboard box or a tin that you would get with most cremation services. I highly recommend Peaceful Paws for pet cremation!

They took great care of my little guy Nikko who crossed over the Rainbow Bridge 2/16/19. The package they put together with his urn is more than memorable he will forever be in our presence.

When that is no longer the case and tough decisions need to be made, we had an excellent experience with Compassionate Care to say goodbye to our pup. Let me start by saying that every administrative and customer service interaction was timely, clear, and concise. The last thing you want in this situation are delays and confusion. Once I reached out through the contact link on their website, the email response with details about their different services happened within 10 minutes. An intake call to make arrangements for a euthanasia visit at our home was answered by a human and only took a few minutes. They recommend making a reservation 48-hours in advance, but we were put on a wait-list and we moved up our reservation when things opened up. I appreciate that you can reschedule (with four hours advance notice) as well. They have a variety of services, Eco-friendly cremation, and memorial pieces. Everything was arranged in advance, including payment through their web portal, so when the vet arrived for the appointment it was all about our boy and his (and our) comfort. Dr. Wilson clearly walked us through the process, gave us time to say goodbye, provided options, and was a wonderful partner in the process. Cremation is done at a facility in N. Portland, but they have the option of picking up the cremains in Oregon City which was more convenient for us. Having gone through this experience with another pet where we took them to the vet's office, I would highly recommend this option for the pet's comfort. It just felt better saying goodbye in a familiar space surrounded by love.

The cats I've had that died in the past were euthanized at the Vet and the Vet took care of the cremation so I didn't know what to do. I called a few pet crematoriums and then this one. The gentleman on the phone was so nice and empathetic so I chose this one. They're also quite a bit less expensive than the others and the price includes a choice between 2 beautiful Oak Urns. We didn't have the money immediately so we had to put Luna in a freezer. They didn't know we were coming but when we arrived, the lady was right there holding the door open for us. We were taken in to a beautiful and peaceful room with a big mural painting on the wall of Rainbow Bridge and comfy places to sit. She explained the process, had my son and I choose the urn and asked if we wanted clay paw prints and a keepsake of Luna's fur. She then told us she would go out of the room to allow us time with Luna. The price is great, the urns are beautiful, everything in there was beautiful with all sorts of jewelry and keepsakes you can buy that are made using your pets ashes. The entire staff are so caring, compassionate and empathetic. The whole experience made such a hard time a little bit easier. I highly recommend Family Animal Services! RIP LUNA

They handled our pet with dignity, and the overall process was smooth, respectful, and timely. You can tell they genuinely care about what they do, and that made a hard situation a bit easier. However, I do want to share one piece of feedback for improvement. We had specifically requested a paw print keepsake and mentioned it multiple times, as it was especially important to my son, who has taken the loss very hard. Unfortunately, when we received our pet's remains, the paw print was not included. It seems there may have been a miscommunication along the way. I understand that mistakes can happen, but this was something that can't be recreated, and that part has been really tough for us--especially having to explain to my son that we won't be getting it. I'm sharing this not to take away from the kindness we experienced, but as a reminder to double-check and confirm special requests, especially the ones that carry emotional meaning for families. Overall, I'm grateful for the compassion shown, but I do hope the team tightens communication processes to prevent something like this from happening to others.

The days after his passing I was so mentally and emotionally exhausted, I could hardly function. And then, in a matter of 3 days--3 days after his passing--I received an email saying Onyx was ready to be picked up! I felt like a kid on Christmas. When you're dealing with grief, you shouldn't have to worry about anything else. Getting him back like this was the best gift. The staff even let me cry in joy when I received his memorabilia. Now he's always with us. Having your loved one back in a tangible form is incredibly healing. Thank you WCPMS. Now I can cherish Onyx forever. P.s. what stood out to me the most was that West Coast Pet Memorial Services partner with DoveLewis Animal Hospital. In tandem with the grief support I was receiving from the Vet Hospital, I was also given access to similar resources through WCPMS. They genuinely understand pet loss and the impact our furry loved ones leave on us. It helped me feel so much relief knowing I had options to lean on. Pet loss is unique, and being able to connect with others going through the same thing, and coping in a healthy way has been paramount in this grieving process. So thanks again!

I had submitted an online enquiry a few days before bc we knew her time was near. I received a prompt and helpful email response. When we decided it was time, we called in the morning and were able to get a same day appointment, but it was only available after hours for an extra $125. Dr. Kathy was wonderful. She was compassionate, patient, calm and collected. She did not rush us and explained everything in a way that made it just a little bit less stressful. Our dog was 120 pounds so the 3 of us carried her out in a stretcher afterwards and she was wrapped in a blanket which was a more sensitive way to carry her outside vs looking at her body. The reason for 3 stars was the compassion ended at the remains pickup. We received the email that she was ready and it did not say to make an appointment, just gave us walk in hours. We arrived to pick up Kaya's ashes and checked in with Megan the woman at the front desk. She said we needed to hurry up because another family was coming in. She shoved the paperwork at us to sign and hurried us along. After a long drive, my husband asked to use the restroom and was told "no" because another family was coming in. After spending over $1,000 it was a cold and harsh end to what was otherwise a good experience. My husband asked for her name and pointed out to Megan that she was not being compassionate especially with what we were going through and that this would be added to our review for the facility. Only then did her tone change and she reluctantly said "ok, you can use the bathroom" but by then we were upset and just wanted to get out of there like the initial intent was from the receptionist from the beginning. This facility is large. If it's an issue, then they should ask you to make an appointment or have a separate pickup and drop off location.

Fortunately the lack of reviews on this app didn't stop me from contacting them after learning the difference between standard cremation and Aquamation. Not only is this a less violent process it's a much better process for the environment without ANY drawbacks that I could identify. Joey the owner was truly empathetic to my situation as I spoke to him from the parking lot of Dove Lewis Pet hospital moments after I picked up my baby girl. He offered to pick Dini up from my house (and would have come to Dove Lewis if I had asked him to!) Without any additional charge! The "least expensive" cremation option given to me by Dove Lewis charges an outrageous fee of $200+ to pick up your pet! And they do traditional fire cremation. Joey met me at my house and took great care placing Dini in his van, assuring me that she would be treated with the dignity she and I deserved. Only 5 days later he let me know she was ready to come home. On Christmas Eve he delivered her ashes to me. The total cost for her individual (vs. group) Aquamation including pickup and delivery was $219! Much less than any other option I found and done with the greatest compassion and professionalism. I can't recommend them more highly! It was the bright spot in an otherwise terribly painful experience. Please do yourself and your pet a favor and contact them for any information you need to make your decision. I promise you won't regret it!

We had 17 amazing years with her and she went at home peacefully. But this made finding someone to take care of her remains difficult. Most cremation services only picked up from veterinary offices. The ones that did private care were outrageously expensive...nearing $1000 including transport. They were mostly unhelpful or outright unkind. Then I took a chance and opened the google listing for Oregon Aquamatoon. The owner himself, Joey, answered. He was kind and patient. They were so affordable by comparison and would come to our home to take Lilly. They tagged her with a metal tag that stayed with her. They put her beautiful, pure white sand remains in a lovely bamboo box with her pawprint laser etched with her name. They also gave us beautiful clippings of her fur sealed in a glass bottle. They dropped her back with us at a time that worked with my work schedule so she wouldn't be left alone. They donated her blanket to a cat rescue. I cant say enough about this company. They are heavensent. We miss our girl so much but her transition and final rest were so peaceful.

My dear heart cat passed away two years ago and I was able to get her recovered and set an appointment for cremation so she could stay with her family (as her original burial place was located at a selling house) and I could hold my baby once more. Brian answered the phone within two rings nearly every single time out of the 12 million times I called him to update him on the recovery process, ask questions, and toggle the appointment time and date. Brian was so patient, kind and accommodating during the entire process. I was able to get my kitty an appointment very promptly. Brian let me cry and ramble about my girl with no judgement, just understanding and compassion. During the intake meeting I really honestly felt that my kitty was in safe hands, with someone who knows what it's like to love an animal so much and want the care and dignity they deserve to continue on even after they cross the rainbow bridge. Your little companion has an ID disk placed with them during the entire cremation process, in order to make sure that the ashes you get back are your friend's only. So you don't have to worry about accidentally bringing home anyone else, or leaving any of your baby behind. That was a great relief to me. I was only in town for less than a week, and had to drive back to school. Brian made sure my kitty was ready to take home within that week so I would be able to return with her. That meant a lot to me. When I came to pick my kitty up, Brian had made a beautiful wooden frame memento to take along with her new lovely rosewood urn that featured my favorite picture of her. So that I could display her sweet face next to her new resting spot. The passing of an adored companion is always so painful, but being able to work with Brian on the care of my sweet girl put my heart at ease for the first time in a long while.
