My main sitter has been my mother-in-law which becomes a problem if you want to go somewhere with the family. I was hesitant at having a stranger with my beloved buns but I needed a backup, so I decided to at least meet. I'm pretty particular and my bunnies are super important to me, I will not leave them with just anyone and because there are not many rabbit savvy folks, I needed someone who would follow my instructions and send good video so I could see them myself to ensure they were ok. They are great at hiding injury and illness. I quickly realized that Anna had a calm presence which is so very important for my buns and that she was the right height! Which may seem like an odd requirement but my sitter has to be able to reach down in to my bunny pens in order to care for them. I was pretty confident in Anna after our meet so I decided to give her a spin. Took a little weekend trip to Big Bear with my husband and mother-in-law and Anna did such a great job her first time. Not a single complaint or correction. She hit all my to do's, asked questions on items I forgot to mention, even picked up stray hay (it's always a mess when I get home) and sent me Marco Polo videos so I could see everybunny every morning and evening. I was so pleased. I still can't get my mother-in-law to do some things like I ask and Anna nailed it all the first time. I know I've already said it but I am so relieved and thankful to have found Anna, one cannot properly enjoy a trip if you're always worried about the fur-babies back home. I've heard horror stories. I met Anna while out walking my puppy, Bear (10 months old). Anna was friendly and genuine from the moment I met her l, which made me feel more comfortable hiring her to watch my pup. I had been looking for a dog walker when I am gone for longer periods of time, but had trouble finding someone I trusted with Bear AND coming into my home. Anna made me feel very comfortable by coming over for a free meet and greet so he could get used to her with me there. She walked with us both on that first visit. Our dog is used to hanging out with our family and taking strolls daily. I work from home so he's used to someone being around a good portion of the day. He gets separation anxiety even though he's not the cuddle-bunny type. We had tried boarding him at a "resort" but he came back a different dog with new quirks. Let me tell you...I have two incredibly difficult, spoiled monsters...that are the love of my life, but can be a pain in the you know what. One, is a massive 95 lb bulldog, the sweetest thing ever, and the other, a cat that thinks she is a princess. Anna is absolutely wonderful with both of them.
