    Brisket and Friends

I am surprised I never reviewed because Brisket has been a customer for at least four years. Brisket loves her pack and is so excited when waiting to be picked up. I don't know how they do it but they take these amazing photos of the pack and they are all good boys and girls! Jennifer and her staff do a great job and my dog is lucky to be a part of it.

Lenny LOVES Ugly Dog Adventures! Jen and Larry and the gang are amazing. Lenny has been going weekly for over a year and he comes home very content and tired, and I know he gets such great care, and socialization with the other dogs. He has improved so much and loves his pack walk. They are always on time, very professional, and everyone knows what they are doing. Amazing company and owner! I feel so at ease leaving my Lenny with them and know he is getting proper care, attention and corrections with them. Plus he comes home exhausted, which is wonderful. Thank you Jen!

When we rescued a 2 and 1/2 year old lab, we knew he could benefit from lots of outdoor activity. When we met Jennifer from Ugly Dog Adventures, we immediately knew we could trust her to keep our boy safe and provide the socialization and fun we wanted for him. He's been joining the pack walks 3 times a week for about 1.5 years now. He sits at the front window in anticipation, waiting for Dave on walk days. We love the videos and photos they post of the dogs and the walkers. I think I've saved every one of them to share the fun with friends and family. Five stars all around for Jenn, her walkers, and Ugly Dog Adventures. We highly recommend them!

Great service, and Miso loves to do the pack walk. It's so easy to tell because she stands up and walks around with excitement every morning when she hears the "noise" of Kaylan's van :) Highly recommended!

All worn out after a long pack walk with Ugly Dog Adventures.

What an amazing transformation our girls have had! Our girls, and Aussie and German Shepherd, were never overly reactive to their dogs, but did tend to show interest. With the help of Ugly Dog Adventures, our dogs don't react at all anymore. Jen has an awesome crew of pack walkers who truly love dogs. Big or small, they can handle them all. We've been with UDA for a year now and the girls get so excited to meet up with their friends for their bi-weekly walks. Thank you for everything Ugly Dog Adventures

Ugly dog is helping my Georgia with her socialization. We did the free consultation walk with the opener Jen and Hemi. Learned a lot during the walk. Excited to continue working with Ugly Dog Adventures. See pic of Georgia and Hemi below

The facility is incredibly clean, well-maintained, and surprisingly odor-free. You can immediately tell that the staff takes great pride in keeping the environment comfortable and sanitary for the dogs. What I love most is the large playground area where the dogs can run around, play, and burn off energy throughout the day. They also separate large dogs from small dogs, which made me feel much more comfortable knowing my dog was playing in a safe environment with dogs of similar size. The staff are friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. They genuinely care about the dogs and make sure each one receives plenty of attention and care. My dog came home happy, relaxed, and well cared for--which is the best review any boarding facility can receive. I highly recommend Dog Den to anyone looking for a safe, clean, and trustworthy place for their furry family member.

They have both…read moreindoor and outdoor play areas for the dogs, and both spaces are quite large, so it doesn't feel crowded at all. The facility itself is very well equipped, with more than 100 rooms. They also have separate isolation rooms in case a dog gets sick, which helps prevent illnesses from spreading to other dogs. I thought that was a huge plus. All new dogs are required to provide vaccination records, and they also do about a 20-minute temperament assessment before joining. Based on each dog's personality, they arrange suitable playgroups instead of just mixing all the dogs together. The staff are also very professional and attentive. They keep daily records of each dog's eating habits and bathroom activity, which really gives owners extra peace of mind. Overall, it feels like a very responsible and well-organized place for dogs.

This review is long overdue. I've been bringing my dog, Chelsea, to OC Veterinary for 10 years,…read moreever since I moved her down from the Bay Area. Chelsea recently passed away at 17, almost 18. She had such a long, happy life because of the care she received here. Chelsea was my baby, and I know how hard it can be to find a good vet. Pets can't talk, but you can see when they are genuinely cared for--and Chelsea got the best care at OC Veterinary. From the receptionists to the doctors, she was loved by everyone, and I am so grateful for that. Chelsea saw both Dr. Horn and, mostly, Dr. Nikki--both are exceptional veterinarians. We saw Dr. Nikki the most, and we had a very special connection with her. After Chelsea passed, Dr. Nikki even reached out to check on us, which was incredibly kind. She is practical, compassionate, and everything you could want in a vet. Chelsea also saw the groomer, Heather, who was very gentle and careful with her. Chelsea had back issues and was an older little lady, so it was comforting to know she was in safe hands. Sandra and Steve also made a big impact on Chelsea's life, especially Steve. They cared for her like she was their own family. Steve even called to check on us after Chelsea passed, which meant so much. I'm sorry this review comes so late, but I feel Chelsea would have wanted me to write it, and I want to honor her memory. No one enjoys visiting the doctor, but I am so grateful that we found such a wonderful facility to care for Chelsea. I loved her with all my heart, and after our family, OC Veterinary loved her most.

Although my dog had already received the appropriate vaccinations, he needed an updated rabies vaccination and an EU-compliant microchip. The staff at Orange Pet Clinic were kind and able to assist me with everything required. Since then, I have also brought my two other dogs in for routine visits as needed. I have consistently been helped within minutes of arriving. The wait times and overall visit lengths are typically short, and the cost is relatively low compared to other veterinary clinics I have visited in Orange County, depending on the services needed. Most recently, however, I visited the clinic with a client of mine whom I had referred due to a very poor experience she had with her previous veterinarian. During this visit, her pet was taken to a different room for the exam rather than being examined in the room we were placed in. We never met or spoke with the veterinarian. Staff instead assumed that my client's relative was the owner and communicated exclusively with her (over the phone). After the examination (which we were unaware had already happened), the technician came into our exam room stating that everything was fine, the bill had already been paid, and that we were all set. When my client and I tried to bring up our concerns and ask questions about her pet's apparent pain, the technician responded a bit dismissively, insisting the pet was not in pain. She didn't really seem to want to engage in any further discussion with us, despite the fact we didn't know anything pertaining to the vet's assessment. The appointment was extremely brief, and we left with more unanswered questions and concerns than when we arrived. While the technician was not overtly rude, her approach lacked tact and professionalism. Unfortunately, because of this latest experience, I'm no longer comfortable referring my clients to this pet clinic. I typically recommend businesses only when they consistently demonstrate strong customer service, quality care, and professionalism, and when I feel confident that those I refer will be treated with kindness and respect. Unfortunately, this experience fell short of those standards, and it was disappointing--and embarrassing--that the recommendation I made to my client did not reflect the level of care I expect.

He was listening, he was following commands and seemed to be comprehending very well. It was because of the prong collar that was dugged into his neck whenever a command is given. Fast forward the two weeks...I was so excited to get him back and got instructions on how he was trained and to continue the training on my own. Now I don't have complaints on how they train, each person has their own technique however when I got my dog back with me alone, he was super anxious and scared. He wouldn't let me leave his side. Every time I got up he would get up too. Everywhere I went in the house he would follow. I get it because we've been apart for two weeks and he was afraid that I would leave him again. He really did not like the prong collar. He yelped one time when I took it off. It's not an easy collar to take off. I gave the prong collar a try for a few days and he listened but he was not the same happy dog that I was used to. He was withdrawn and did not let people approach him or touch him. He did not bark at all which was not him. He was also super skinny when I got him back, you can see his bones sticking out. They said he ate all the food I brought. I brought kibble, some home made food, treats and a new bag of fresh pet. I was told that he had completely finished all of his food. My dog doesn't eat a whole lot, so I was surprised that he had nothing left. I did not want anything back, I just know my dog doesn't eat that much and is very dry picky.l and hoped he was fed well. That part I'm not too sure on. When I got him back I did manage to weigh him and he was 4.6 lbs, he usually weighs about 5 1/2 lbs. He is now eating right and gaining his weight back but I still feel his bones. After a couple of days of using the prong collar I stopped putting it on him. He would lay where he was, very sad and distant. He didn't even want to play with my other dog, he just wanted to sit right by me when he had his collar. After leaving the collar off for several days now he has become a super happy and very playful puppy. He still obeys commands with treats of course. I don't think anything was wrong with the training my dog received. I think this place is for a dog who is a bit more mischievous and does not entirely listen. I also think it's more suitable for dogs of a larger size or breed or weight like my pit bull but she listens and is very mellow. I do appreciate the help that Hudson's Canine Kennels gave, unfortunately this did not work out for me or my dog.
