This will be a short review because with an amazing outdoor garden seating area other than the 15 feet it took from the door to the counter to order I never even looked inside or around the building. We ordered sandwiches for lunch and they were fantastic. The bread was amazing. With self serve fountain drinks and seat yourself this is a fantastic lunch stop if you are in the area. Pizza's did look good but we didn't want to wait that long but I would like to return and try them again. We only dealt with the cashier when placing the order and she was friendly so can't really speak too much about the service. Looking forward to returning though! read more

We gathered a group of friends for a late lunch one weekend for Cinco de Mayo. It is busy and there is plenty of outdoor seating. The venue is very good and child friendly with a place for kids to safely explore and run around. They have the craft kitchen inside and beer taps. Serving up pizzas, sandwiches, a few vegetarian options and creative appetizers. Outside there is a taco bar with chips and guac, queso and premade or build your own tacos. They have 3 margarita mixed drinks as well. They have fresh squeezed fruit mixes too, but came to find out they are pre-mixed. We weren't entirely sure the containers were shaken up before poured as the drink tasted of mostly mixer. The food was pretty good, we ordered the trout and avocado sandwich and an order of the truffle fries. The sandwich was great and the fries were crispy. A few others had tacos and they were ok but nothing over the top. Overall it was a great space to go for lunch but it will get hot in the summer. You can cool off inside with the AC and ice cream counter that is adjoined to the bar area. If you're looking for gluten free, vegan or other dietary options, there's a paper menu that spells it all out for you so you don't need to ask 20 questions. On our recent trip we got the truffle fries without the Parmesan and they were great! Also, the hummus duo without pita and extra veggies. That was really good and filling, too. The customer service is very friendly and helpful, like all places should be, but sadly are not so much anymore. They have lots of beer on tap (none GF from what I could tell) and cider for me. When we visited in the summer, the outside container had a taco bar that had a gluten free and vegan taco option and amazing margaritas. I'd love to see more vegan AND gluten free options, or items that could have substitutions to make them that way, just NOT the Beyond or Impossible Burgers please...those are not food, lol. read more

This place is practically perfect. Here's why: 1. The food is amazing. We tried the wings, fries and pizza. The wings were juicy and tender and fell off the bone like a good wing should. The buffalo sauce was not too hot and had a smoky undertone. The ranch dressing on the side was amazing. We used it for our fries too. The pizza was perfect for sharing and had a thin crispy/chewy/bubbly charred crust. We tried the margarita and pepperoni bacon ham. The fries were out of this world good, crispy and well seasoned. 2. The service was pleasant, quick and helpful. From the food runners to the management it seems like the staff is actually happy to be there. 3. Efficiency. You order at the counter when you enter, find and seat and your food is brought out. We were there on a Saturday around 7, we got the last open table. There is bar seating and larger tables available too. 4. Good beer list. Lots of choices, and ciders available too. Overall I feel like this is what many startup restaurants strive to be. Visiting the area and stopped in around 3pm on a Saturday. Modernist hip style place with a large covered, multi surface deck and covered play area for kids and dogs. There is even a taco truck permanently parked outside. So dog friendly, the waiter asked us if we wanted dog bowl for water! The pizza quality here has fallen off drastically of late. I got a Hawaiian today with almost no ham or pineapple on the entire pizza. Half the slices had no toppings at all, and there were only a few of each scattered between slices on the other half, and they skimped on the cheese too. The buffalo chicken pizza I got in my prior visit had raw bacon on it. The pizzas here could be tasty in the past, but management needs to instill better values in its staff because whoever was on duty for these pizzas either wasn't paying attention or just couldn't be troubled to get more toppings. It's just shoddy work. My last two visits were very disappointing, and that's sad because I used to like this place. Please talk to your people about making the time to do things correctly or get new people. read more

It is counter service and there is a small bar area. It has a decent draft beer selection, and is good for all ages. We ordered the smoked trout sandwich, beef stew, a side of spicy tomato soup, and a pretzel with beer cheese and mustard. Everything was good EXCEPT the stew and soup were WAY over salted. What a gem! Stopped by for a quick lunch while on our way to cades cove. They have beautiful outdoor seating with a great view of the mountains. We tried the hummus dip, goat cheese fritter and Appalachian trail board - would recommend them all!
