Every time I visit Pigeon Forge for Car Shows I stop in at the casual pint. Good atmosphere and often they have live music. If you are walking the parkway this is a great place to stop. read more

Party of 8. Only two people in there drinking alone should have been a tip off. Dirty tables needing to be bussed. What was missing? Any employees. We waited 5 minutes and left. It was 6:30 and no one was there when all the places in the area had waits. This is also where the hotel does their morning breakfast and it stays set up all day (minus the food). Pass on this one. read more

If you love craft beer go ahead and come on in. They've got so many to choose from! I had their Southwest Egg Rolls and wow they were really delicious. Just enough spice to warm you up but not enough to get you sweating. Very friendly service as well. It's attached to a hotel, it was very clean and well decorated. read more

We were staying in the hotel nearby and were looking for a happy hour. The website indicated they had one, with several appetizers at half price. When we got there, only the pretzel with beer cheese sauce was half price and the beers were only $1 off. Not the greatest happy hour menu. They had several good choices for meals, so we went ahead and stayed. We shared a chicken bacon ranch flatbread and some Wisconsin cheese curds. The curds were slightly undercooked and kind of clumped together. I thought they were still yummy, but my husband didn't care for them. The flatbread was good, and his beer was good. The place was mostly empty on a weeknight, but our server was friendly and checked in on us several times. read more

Great food for a quick bite to eat at reasonable prices. We were all pleasantly surprised by the food quality, prompt and professional service, and reasonable pricing. There was no wait to be seated and the staff was attentive to the individual in our party with food allergies. Our food arrived at a great temperature, was flavorful, aesthetically pleasing, and promptly arrived. The ambiance was relaxed and casual- living up to its name. It wasn't crowded at all and was the perfect way to end a very busy day. We randomly came across this place on vacation. They had a huge selection of craft beers that were brewed locally. This spot is connected to a hotel. They had cute comfy chairs to sit on by the game area. Lots of games to keep people or kids busy. Service was great and food was good too. read more

Lemme start this off with- it's a hotel bar. We weren't aware of that when we were searching for dinner and stumbled upon this place. That being said, it's a really good bar. Super clean inside and they had so many local and craft beer options. We started off with the loaded sidewinder fries and they were delicious! Our brats were both served hot and packed with flavor. Up front, very nice bar tender. But... she was working alone. Despite not being very busy she needed help. Several people walked in and out waiting. This night they were out of bratwurst, sauerkraut, guacamole and pizza. The problem is that makes up a significant part of their menu. There were three working TVs strategically placed around the bar. Despite tonight (Sunday) being a night for wild card NFL playoff games, 1 tv was showing golf, 1 Fox News and the third some kind of religious preacher man. Orders the large pretzel with beer cheese and a spicy Thai flat bread. The food was good and the beer selection was huge. I also had a TailGate Tenn Golden Lager. I stayed at the Holiday Inn Convention Center in Pigeon Forge for a few days. Casual Pint is the bar inside the Holiday Inn. It's very very nice. They have over 40 beers on tap. The Bartender "Mike" had great recommendations to try based on your likes. He was gracious to give you a sample of anything to try before you ordered your drink. I tried a few I would have never tried and really enjoyed them. They have "happy hour" beginning at 3:00 with 1/2 price starters and $1 off a pint. The chicken quesadilla was very good and the wings were also good. I didn't try the pizza but several people had them and they looked good. I would recommend Casual Pint whether you are staying or just dropping in for a cold beer and great conversation. Mike made good recommendations for dinner options in Pigeon Forge also. read more

Great bar find on the parkway. Good selection of beers - IPAs, lagers, stouts, sours, ales. They also had a good cocktail menu, including the tropical paradise drink which I highly recommend. Staff was also attentive and this is connected to the hotel next door, so its a plus if you are staying there. read more

This was a very pleasant surprise. For a hotel bar, this place was very open and airy. The beer selection is great of course, and the atmosphere is definitely inviting. We stopped by the Casual Pint around 2 pm and discovered they did not open until 3 pm. For such a busy tourist area I would have expected them to open earlier in the day. We returned around 4 pm with a Groupon in hand (2 beers and a pretzel for $15). The beer selection was robust, and the beer pretzel was massive! The atmosphere was kind of blah. The service was good. We would return if I had another Groupon, but it definitely would not be our first choice. read more

Quiet and pleasant! Everyplace has screaming children and this is nice. Service was good and the price is decent. Menu is small but great for tying you over till dinner. Came to gaitlinburg during Christmas and was able to get some time to meet up with friends for a few drinks. During Christmas gaitlinburg is PACKED and everything is overcrowded. The Casual Pint is the opposite. It barely had anyone in there but had a large number of beer options. This is not the place if you are looking for a rowdy scene but if you are looking for a nice quiet getaway from the chaos this is a good option. read more

Casual pint is a nice break from all of the tourist spots along Parkway. Lots of craft beers on tap. We sat at the bar and the bartender Chris was very nice and knowledgeable about the beers and food. We ordered wings and a flatbread. IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD. The food was mediocre at best and tasted like it came straight from the freezer. I specifically came for a cookie skillet and when it came it was burnt and completely raw in the inside. Save your time and your money and skip out on the Casual Pint. read more

This review is simply based on the impatience, condescension, and generally poor disposition of the bartender. While the other employee was outstanding, friendly and helpful, the bartender wanted to give his opinion rather than trying to actually answer the questions asked to help identify the beer we were looking for on draft. As he was pouring (which the foam on all pours was excessive and our crowler was probably 4/5 full) our growler, he was loudly commenting to another patron that it was dumb to pay more for a growler than what two crowlers cost. I'd probably be more upset if it wasn't so passive aggressively lame. Check the place out as the beer selection is good, the space is clean... just hope you don't get that particular bartender. read more

The beer selection is great!!! The egg roles were amazing as well as the bratwurst. Make sure to pass on the Buffalo boneless wings (tasted like they came from a microwave), however the bone-in wings were good. read more

We stopped in here for a mom and dad date night. What an awesome place! Atmosphere was great with high tops, tables, lounge areas and an awesome expansive bar. Lots of beers and a great menu of appys, sandwiches, and pizza. Had the pretzel and beer cheese and it was great. Recently opened so nobody here but us! This was a super clean establishment and had a huge selection of beer! Over 30 beers on draft and then even more sold in bottles/cans. The service was great and we loved that they let you sample the beers before you buy! We didn't try any of the food but we saw some on other customers tables and it looked very good! We were in Pigeon Forge in July for a family vacation. We are huge fans of the Casual Pint in Toledo, OH and were stoked to see they had one in Pigeon Forge. It is brand new and worth the trip. If you aren't familiar with them, they have a bunch of draft beers from breweries big and small. There is bound to be something you like. You can get flights or pint. Their food menu is great, too and is more like appetizer options than a "dinner." The staff was helpful and the guy who opened it was there and he is incredibly friendly. If you have never been to one, I recommend visiting. read more

Got their bacon jam burger, their daddy Mac and cheese burger, boneless BBQ wings, potato skins, a buffalo chicken wrap and some regular Mac and cheese orders. First things first, my bacon jam burger was sloppy and awesome. The aioli was a bit strong, but it tasted well. I didn't know how the Swiss being added would change the flavor, but it paired well with the heavy patty that was handmade. I think any of their burgers would be great honestly just based on how the patty was seasoned and the cook was perfect. Side of fries weren't bad...were a bit overcooked, but they tasted well. Other takeaways...... The boneless wings were good...not overcooked. The sauce paired well with their ranch, which by the way, tasted decent. Did have some tartness to it, but it tasted good. Potato skins were crispy and full of flavor. I forgot we did order some of their version of mozzarella sticks and they were crispy and quite tasty as well. According to my brother in law, the Mac daddy burger was very good...it looked quite impressive I'd admit, but he raved about the taste as well. The only underwhelming item was the buffalo chicken wrap. Was told the wrap itself wasn't warm and the flavor of the chicken with the buffalo sauce wasn't ideal. FYI we stayed less than 10 minutes away from the restaurant, so everything outside of the wrap was fresh and was prepped well. Will keep them in our rotation whenever we visit the area. Probably the best burger I've had in awhile.
