We are at Jimmy's and the food was good. No real wait time but we were there around 5. Their wings were meaty and good. It was better than I expected. I had their hottest sauce which was mild but had a good flavor. The burger were good and they didn't mind if you changed the ingredients upon request. They were flavorful as well. The restaurant was clean and cool with a bear and other local memorabilia. I would recommend. The only negative was our waitress was a little slow to respond to our table. This is a hidden gem BBQ and pizza place. A variety of options on the menu with great desserts. Inside and outside seating. Check with the Restraunt for there music schedule. In Gatlinburg up the hill at light 3. Turning on Gladys towards the art district. Off the strip and away from the traffic. Plenty of free parking. Off the strip pricing. Stopped in on a rainy day- great food, staff were friendly, and service was excellent! Enjoyed our conversations with our waitress and service was fast. We sat outside under a covered patio to enjoy our meals. Plenty of seating. All of our party enjoyed their meals- including pizza, bbq pork sandwich, and the bbq Mac and cheese. This was our first time here and we had a great experience. Macy our server was friendly and very helpful to suggest the best options on the lunch special menu . Since it was our first time we wanted to make sure we would not be disappointed, so we went with the pizza and brisket taco options , and we were not disappointed For desert we took a slice of carrot cake to go . Despite it being a super busy Sunday night, Three Jimmy's (especially our waiter Roger) were phenomenal. We dropped in on a whim (after googling Gatlinburg dog friendly restaurants) after a day in the Great Smoky National Park with our dog. They are an extremely dog friendly restaurant with a large, shaded patio area. We got the fried pickles (loved the batter and its seasonings) and the Hawaiian pizza. The crust was very flavorful! Overall, 5/5 stars for our experience. What an awesome local business. Hope to make it back here on a return Gatlinburg trip! read more

We were out looking for Buffalo and ended up eating lunch at 3 Jimmy's. On top of excellent food, we were entertained by an excellent singar playing piano. Not only was he goid, but he also personalized his entertainment. He sang soecial songs for my dog and granddaughters. I had a turkey sandwich which was delicious. It was a little pricy, but worth it having the added entertainment. The kids meals were also good. My granddaughter had a hamburger. There was ample parking and the staff was friendly. read more

I absolutely loved this place! Went for the first time with my family during a vacation in Gatlinburg and immediately liked the hospitality of the welcome staff. Our server Caleb was very attentive and really made my group laugh. The atmosphere is very well thought out and very beautiful. My ribwich and mac and cheese was delicious! The ribwich was insanely juicy and the Mac and cheese tasted like Kraft on steroids (but without the chemicals and actually tastes good). I'd definitely come here again :) read more

We needed some place for supper on night. I was doing some research for a place and came across 3 Jimmys. Thought what the heck let's try it out. What a great discussion this was. One of those hidden gems. Food and service above average, by far. The next evening we where at the Alamo waiting in line. There was a family of 8 waiting possible a hour for a table. I recommended three Jimmy's to them told them of our expectancy and off they went. Will return for sure. read more

Had really looked forward to this place, wanted to try the wings. Pictures looked really good. When we went were seated out on the patio it was really nice. Overall, a decent experience. Service was really good and staff friendly and attentive. We sat at the bar since they were pretty crowded plus they had happy hour until 6 pm, which is buy a draft beer and get one free. They had live music but we were disappointed that the performer played a lot of super mellow, almost depressing songs. So it kind of brought the vibe down. Food includes classic southern bbq. We loved their homemade sauces. The blackberry chipotle is a must try. We ordered the smoked chicken platter, and not being a mustard fan, I was a bit skeptical of the mustard bbq sauce but it was just as good as the blackberry one. Incredible, incredible, food. Definitely want to echo what someone else said - not another tourist trap. This place isn't overly priced and the food is delicious. It was packed when we went but we only ended up waiting about 20 minutes. They were really working hard to get people in and tables cleaned. I got the brisket with coleslaw and baked beans while my husband got the ribs with the same sides. I loved the homemade coleslaw and he loved the beans. I thought the beans were good but a little too smoky for me. His grandma got a turkey reuben and although I didn't try it, my husband and her both said it was the best thing at the table. We ended with the dessert and the chocolate cake was literally the size of my face. The picture does do it justice. It was moist and so delicious. We will definitely be back. read more

Local business off the beaten path just cool hangout place to eat good food and drinks with friends and family not a dress code kinda place. Food was mediocre at the very best. Do not get the ribs, they were bland and dry. The skins were basic until we asked for sauce and that made them a little better. All the sides were tasteless; Loaded mashed potatoes, Gouda Mac and cheese, and cole slaw. Beans were ok. The pita chips on the spinach and artichoke dip was phenomenal! The blueberry chipotle sauce was good and the mustard barbecue sauce was good. Maybe you have to drink the alcohol before eating to enjoy the food. In fact, try going around a mealtime and, unless you're kin to Jimmy, Jimmy, or Jimmy (three Jimmys... get it?) you're in for a wait. That wait, however, would be worth it! They serve delicious food from a menu that makes it tough to get just one thing and is brought to you by a staff that just won't quit. We certainly had difficulty picking during our late-lunch but the waiter helped us narrow it down. That's not all he did though, he was beyond friendly and helpful in every aspect. The food itself, you ask? Aces! There are (several) other places in the area that claim to be "the best" but Three Jimmy's is easily near, if not at, the top of that list. read more

This smokehouse restaurant is the best small "secret" in town! A family atmosphere that also has live music on the weekends. The food is so good that it is incomparable to any other in Gatlinburg. This spot was "ok". We walked from the other side of town (3.3 miles) - stupidity on our part. The tourist map is not to scale! lol. It was crowded. They had live music - he was not bad - although his jokes sucked. I had a burger, as they claimed that they had the best burgers. It was pretty good. The fries were actually pretty good also. I ordered the beer battered fried jalapenos. Way too many. My wife had the chicken pot pie. She enjoyed it. Overall not bad..... then we had to walk back. Ugh. read more

Hubby and I tried to stay out of the touristy area as much as possible hence why we chose Three Jimmy's. It was located just mins from our cabin. When we first got to the restaurant there seemed to be a lot of confusion. There was a family of 4-5 waiting just inside the door and a couple. I'm not sure what was going on but they both waited awhile and then left. Maybe that should have been our clue. The waitress/hostess seemed to be distraught as she took our temperature with a forehead thermometer. First time for this at a restaurant! Then she mumbled something about a waiter being back. I could tell she wasn't happy. We were waited on fairly quickly but found out their liquor license was expired. Disappointing as there was a mix drink I was eyeing on their website. Our food took a long time!!! Much longer then it should have (maybe 25 mins) and the waiting wasn't enjoyable thanks to the foul mouth people next to us. When it came to the food, my open faced turkey sandwich was just alright - not something I would recommend. The mashed potatoes were good with chunks of potatoes in them. My cinnamon apples were alright too. Hubby liked his 1/2 chicken meal. He thought the sauce that came with it was excellent. He also liked the mashed potatoes. Definitely not good enough to go back through. When we received our bill were we surprised to see a surcharge for using a credit card. What?! First time I'd seen that at a restaurant. The meals were already pricey in my opinion. If in the area again, I would not return here and I wouldn't recommend. There are too many other choices in the area. read more

Usually when I am full, I stop eating. This wasn't the case at Three Jimmy's. Tonight, I had one of the best meals that I have ever had while vacationing, and I have been to a lot of places. It was busy, but worth the wait. I got a $5 drink special and the bartender brought it to my table as the waitress was swamped. We had the three cheese nachos. I usually don't care for nachos but goodness this was delicious. Crunchy chips drowned in cheese, sour cream, jalapeños, it was comfort food at its finest. The chips were getting soggy with the amount of toppings. I started to notice that everyone was in a good mood and the atmosphere was upbeat. I started to become very excited about my main course. The kitchen staff brought the meal out, impressive to see the team work here. I ordered the King James sandwich. I never order barbecue but good lord the brisket was falling apart in my mouth on this sandwich. It melted like butter and the brisket had just the right amount of fat content to make it moist. Very impressed. The sandwich had these onion crispers and pickles on it and I had a side order of moonshine apple slices. It was "just" a sandwich, but it was perfect. A party of four was able to easily split the biggest piece of chocolate cake I've seen in awhile and it was delicious. Give me this place over any white tablecloth place any day. This is what real food is about. I'm here for one more day and plan to come back. read more

Food is amazing! The King James brisket sandwich is tender and delicious. The wings are some of the best I've ever had...slow cooked and spun in a delicious sauce. We did not try a dessert, but they have a dessert case with cheesecakes and a selection of cakes as well. Our waiter was very kind and did a great job. I was recently on a solo trip to the Gatlinburg area and craving some comfort food. The chicken pot pie did not disappoint . Looked like a great atmosphere and will go back to dine in but on this visit i got a takeout order. The flaky pastry was served separate with two containers of goodness to pour over top once home. We randomly stopped here on a vacation in Tennessee. For a little local stop, the food was really good. We had just spent the day shopping in the craft district of Gatlinburg and we were hungry! Luckily Jimmy's only had a short wait-the lobby has some booths to sit in while you wait. Inside was eclectic and you could tell that they have live music. In the center there is a big wrap around bar and a bunch of booths to choose from. We started with the fried pickles which were pretty good. I ordered a veggie melt in a pita with mashed potatoes. I don't know if it because I was so hungry, cold, or if the food was just good, but it was everything I needed. The pita was nice and soft, and it had some good flavor to it.
