I have an extensive rock collection and I already own a lot of the rocks offered here, so when I saw the prices doubled if not tripled, I gasped. For example, I own a beaver skull and it cost me maybe $40. At Prehistoric Florida, that beaver skull is marked up well over $100. I also own a cave bear paw that cost $600...here at Prehistoric Florida, that cave bear paw is marked at over $1200. They have demonstrated very good communication whether by phone, texting, or email ... and even without my asking, have been very reasonable with me on pricing. I think what stands out is that they are interested in forming a long-term relationship/satisfaction with their customers... not just pushing sales for a "one-time" purchase, which is really refreshing.
