I had the Radiant Positivity, a sour ale at 6%, which sounds like something printed above a middle school guidance counselor's desk but turned out to be genuinely good, all grapefruit and a tartness that knew when to stop. I thought about ordering the Kamp Jam, a 4% light lager described as tasting like shared laughter and the unbreakable bonds of friendship, and decided I wasn't there yet. The owners opened this place in 2014 and have expanded it three times since, which tells you something about Greer that it probably already knows about itself but that the rest of the area is still catching up on. Consequentially, Greer itself has also expanded its waistline 3 times since 2014 but that's a discussion for another time. I thought about asking about the Southern Sanctum, an American Tripel, but the afternoon had reached the evening and a point where a Tripel felt like a commitment that deserved more deliberation than I had left in me.
