Office staff very nice however will not stay here again because of layout of spaces. Majority of spaces are very close together in that if you and your neighbor have slides there is very little space to sit out and enjoy your space. Picnic tables (which are not allowed to be moved) are next to neighbors' sewer connections. While we were there the grass was mowed and clippings were not blown away leaving our site littered with the clippings. We learned that specific sites can't be reserved and you are at the mercy of the people assigning sites. We usually stay in parks where spots are guaranteed but took a chance on this park for the three nights we were in the area. This is a no frills park so rates were good. No pool but has decent club house and bathrooms were clean. Location in general is good and convenient to Fredericksburg and Johnson City. One reviewer mentioned level sites and picnic table on concrete pad. Our site was gravel and not level. Our picnic table was not on a concrete pad. read more

Would not Recommend to anyone I know. My breaker would blow everyday around 5 in the afternoon this would cause my dog to over heat in this 100 degree weather and they did nothing about. The rules are too tight and almost impossible to follow, it also doesn't help that you'll have a old man yelling at you to slow down (in some cases even chase you) when your going 5mph over their 5mph speed limit in the park. The owner also acted like a child and threw a fit and then preceded kicked me out when I didn't pick up my dogs droppings. 0/10 would not recommend read more

We loved this place! It was perfectly positioned on the outskirts of the wineries, while still being close enough to all the action. We were only 15-20 min from Fredericksburg. The lots had great grass and were well maintained. The pull through spots (red-dirt gravel) were plenty large for our 39 footer with room for 2+ vehicles. Would definitely return! read more

Clean, well maintained, "Winter Texan" R.V. Park. Wide roads in and out of large, long level pull through and back in sites. Each sites have a concrete patio and picnic table and light with 30 and 50amp service, sewer and water. Large, clean....grassy, spotless Dog Park, bench for their humans. They offer Activities and Saturday Breakfast in the large Rec. Hall. The Rec. Hall has a full kitchen, satellite TV and comfortable setting, lots of tables, and texas size porch and big rockers and picnic tables. The bathrooms and showers are spotless. One of the laundrys is there aswell.....$2/wash and $2/dry...... They offer a Cabin for 2 people, kitchenette, bathroom with shower, queen bed, table and chairs, comfy chair and TV.....it has a big porch with rockers and table and chairs..... Beutifully decorated and great A/C. The Park has the best WiFi we've come across. The Second Laundry is located in the office building that has another big porch. The managers are on site and have been in charge for 5years. They are so friendly and helpful......they keep the park quite, friendly and safe. On site aswell are a Friendly Assistant Manager Couple and Activities Couple. The park is located on Hyway 290 between Fredricksberg and Johnson City in the heart of Hill country, endless activities and sites to see. We can say this is one of the best parks we've stayed...... read more

We really enjoyed our stay at Peach Country. Check in was effortless and the park is clean and well-maintained, but most importantly for us it was peaceful and quiet. The park is conveniently located about midway between Johnson City and Fredericksburg which makes both city's attractions and surrounding wineries and breweries easily accessible. Luchenbach is also a short drive away and well worth spending a few hours enjoying. We would definitely recommend staying at Peach Country. read more

Me and my gal have been coming to Peach Country RV since 2019 when we initially booked doing a wine passport. Have stayed maybe 5 times before this last stay this past October. Had always been a pleasant stay, the people who ran the place were very friendly and easy going. From the initial booking this last time, the lady taking the call was asking a lot of questions about us and our pets (miniature schnauzer/ maltese). Even after I told her we had stayed there before, she continued with her questions. I figured ok, the owners must have hired somebody new. When we arrived, we found out that there was new owners. At arrival, I pulled up and a gal was outside the office. She checked me in and then proceeded to tell me that the speed limit inside the park was 5 mph. I was standing right next to the speed limit sign, and almost said "Yes, I can read. Isn't that was this sign says" . But, I held my tongue. Later on that day, a guy was driving around in a cart told me I needed to remove my RV rug from the grass, it wasn't allowed. His tone was not pleasant at all. I just put it back in the trailer storage. My neighbors told me they had been there for awhile and his fridge had went bad. They had rented a small freezer to store his frozen items so they would not go bad until his RV fridge was fixed. The rented freezer was outside sitting next to his RV. The same guy telling me about the rug, questioned him about the freezer. When it was explained to him, he said "Ok, you have a couple says then you have to remove that freezer". I was like WOW. My girlfriend says the new owners act like board members of a HOA. I totally agree with her. The new owners are just not friendly at all, and are actually quite rude. The previous owners were nice people, very friendly. We usually go to Fredericksburg a couple times a year and stay several days. We won't be back to Peach Country RV, ever. This is one of our favorite parks to stop at when traveling to and from California to Austin. We have stopped here for many years and have always found the park clean and well maintained and the management friendly. The pull throughs offer full hookups: 30-50Amp service, water and sewer. Never had an occasion to use the laundry or showers. As such cannot comment on them. The RV site is located on higher ground than the surrounding area offering good site drainage when it rains. Believe me in this part of Texas when it rains you want to be on high ground. Clean bathrooms and quiet area. It is not the closest RV park to Luckenbach and Fredricksberg, but the closest that will allow kids. It was a little frustrating having to drive back and forth from the rv to the location since I was a time crunch to see everything. read more

A hidden gem in hill country. Get off the 10 and come around San Antonio and spend a few nights here. Clean, nice sites, great rec room, and extremely nice hosts. Close to all the Hill Country areas, great bbq places, etc. Katie and Tim are great hosts. Try it, you'll like it. read more

This park is about 15 miles from Main street Fredericksburg, in Stonewall. It is managed by the nicest people we have ever stayed with, Katie and Tim are so helpful to 'newbies' to the area, they take great pride in the park and keep it looking very clean and free of permanent RV's that can sometimes bring a park down. I moved here when my Husband was deployed, (moved from a park nr San Antonio) This area is perfect for me, quiet and easy to get around, groceries, gas and local eateries are all close by. The Winter Texan's are regulars here and love to come back every year, great people, always happy to help. Tons of activities in the area too, wineries are a big draw to the area, trade days every month and lots of History! This is a smaller size park, activities are regularly scheduled in the rec' hall by Loretta, who is the hard working activities director, potlucks weekly, cooked breakfasts through Winter, crafting every day, lots of social get together's. Clean laundry and bathrooms with showers too. I have loved my time here and will be sad to leave. I am hoping we get the chance to come back very soon!
