The Works is a great studio if you love all things yoga and fitness. They have such a large variety…read moreof class types from deep stretch to mat cardio. I usually frequent the West Ashley location, but it is only a few months old so it's not yet on Yelp. Emily Valentine teaches core vinyasa on Sundays, and it is always a great time! She has an amazing playlist and is always motivating and supportive. I always leave feeling like I really worked out my whole body and I am ALWAYS sore the next few days, but it's a good feeling because I know I worked hard in Emily's class! I also highly recommend their assisted deep stretch class. It's very relaxing and it feels so good to stretch and take your mind off of everything going on. The studio spaces are always clean and well taken care of. There's only been a couple times where a class was really crowded, but we always make it work!

This is the noisiest yoga studio that could possibly exist. Why? Why do you do this to guests?…read more We entered the lobby to cocktail-party level chitchat, which didn't seem to phase anyone but my friend and me. Nice Staff showed us to lockers. All that could have been ok if the class had been ... enjoyable enough to do. Why did the teacher have a headpiece for screaming instructions, when there is no way the room wouldn't be covered just fine by her voice. I tried for about fifteen minutes, trying to follow her sometimes muted screaming by looking around me. I gave up and went to the front desk where they kindly said this was normal and offered me a cup of earplugs to pick from. I took them and used them for about three minutes when I gave up. The place purposefully makes it so loud that they have odes of earplugs in a cute little jar on the counter. That's just messed up. I usually do vinyasa flow, my friend does Bikram and neither of us really knew what this class was. Worst $30 one a class pass ever.

Great workouts and supportive environment! Burn Boot Camp in Mount Pleasant offers high-energy…read moresessions that really push you to do your best. The trainers are motivating, and the community is very friendly and encouraging. It's worth noting that most of the members are women -- mainly middle-aged -- so men might feel a little outnumbered, but everyone is welcoming and focused on fitness. Overall, it's a great place to get in shape and be part of a positive, goal-oriented group!

I never in a million years would have expected to fall in love with working out, in a boot camp environment especially, but I have become obsessed with Burn. The trainer at this locations's name is Amos and he really is amazing. He is not at all what you would expect a trainer would be like at a boot camp. Amos is 100% encouraging, positive, and helpful while finding the perfect spot that pushes you to your limits. I have seen him modify these work outs for people with a wide variety of injuries so that every workout can be done by every person. Each workout every week (open 6 days a week) focuses on a different area of your body to target and is planned so that you can participate for most days even if you are sore. Burn is only 45 minutes but it is incredibly fast paced and before you know it, it's over and so is your workout time for the day! Burn focuses on the training of women but there are a few co-ed classes. They also have a free Saturday class if you are wanting to give it a try. They also offer free childcare for parents! They are usually running specials for people who want to try out Burn without fully committing such as a free two week trial as well as 8 week programs for discounted prices. Just go check this place out and see why everyone loves feeling the burn!!!!

Only qualm would be needing to check in with a staff member each visit. Room for improvement could be a card that you get for the term of your pass. Otherwise, it was seamless! There's a great turf area for stretching/any kind of free weight or circuit you'd like to throw together. Free weight area has plenty of space to always get a mirror spot. Cardio equipment is a bit on the older side but did its job. I did a good amount of running and intervals, and didn't run into any issues. I will absolutely be back when I'm in the area next! And highly recommend.

Most members don't re rack their weights and staff doesn't seem to care. Tried to cancel my membership at the front desk they told me I'd have to cancel online. So I cancelled my membership online and for 3 months hear nothing from anyone associated with O2. I recently got a phone call telling me I owed them for multiple months in unpaid dues. I explained the situation to the team member who then claimed they still needed to charge me for the month after I cancelled. When I refused the team member told me I'd be hearing from a lawyer lol ($64.99 was the charge). When I signed up it was a one year contract, when I cancelled my membership I was onto my 3rd year at the gym. This is a terribly run facility w an equally ill trained staff, stay away.
